Here you will be able to see the reviews of people like you who consumed the services and products of Greenbank Veterinary Services Ltd (Veterinarian) in Alberta area (Canada).
To this day the business receives a score of 4.6 stars out of 5 and that score has been based on 127 reviews.
You must have seen that its rating is virtually the highest, and it's founded on a very large number of opinions, so we can think that the valuation is quite accurate. If people have bothered to rate when they've done well with the service, is that it works.
You know that we do not usually bother to write tatings when they are positive and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or issue...
This Veterinarian belongs to the category of Veterinarian.
Staff is very friendly and educated. For a vet office my dog isn't upset about going there at all!!
Excellent staff and very friendly people. My cat Ozzy was loved right away by everyone there, this is big because you know they care and have compassion for all the little fur babies that visit here.I say yes definitely go here with your pet.
Greenbank Vet was recommended to my by a friend with the same breed of dog as myself (Golden Retriever). Dr. Greenbank has been wonderful so far and all the techs are very pleasant and seem to really care about their job and my dog. Recently we had a problem with our dog who stepped on some nails and had to bring her in first thing on a Monday morning. I hadn't made an appt but really needed to get in to see vet so I walked in, explained and they took me in immediately. They fit me into their schedule and I left with the proper meds and care instructions (they even showed me how to administer a tricky procedure with a syringe before I left). That week I phoned 2 times to get advice for healing and they did it over the phone without making me book an appt for the few questions I had. They were very encouraging and supportive. I would recommend this vet in a heartbeat!
This veterinarian has been fantastic with the care of my greyhound. They come highly recommended
taking my dogs here for years, great service
Wonderful service! The vet and staff went beyond the call of duty for my dogs and I highly recommend their clinic.
The only vet I'll take my animals too
Great service!
Nah. Take your animals somewhere else. Just drive past this place.
Great staff who truly care about animals.
I have brought my pets here for over a decade. The staff are amazing, helpful, sympathetic and supportive. They made my treatment options affordable for me when I was unable to get pet insurance for my elderly cat. I will always bring my pets to this clinic.
Had a minor problem with one of my cats, the vet did it for free. Very personable service!
Kind compassionate caring ❤ I had the hardest time when you have to make the decision to let go of my best friend. Dr green bank and team made this hard decision during covid the best they could for bebe my little man .This will be a change you have to consider . I was with my boy right to his end of life. My daughter was able to hold are boy . So she held him till we had to hand him to the ladys .IT was not easy you are not able to hold walk in with him. The ladys let me had him with his familys blanket. They were aware my mother passed away with the same blanket. We made sure he passed on this blanket for the connection of there new lifes in heaven. This little boy bebe never left my moms side for the week she was in a coma as l and family when she passed on there favorite blacket. Anne and her team remembered everything ❤ its the little things that are the most important when it may be the time to say goodbye to your best friend. Thankyou Dr Greenbank Team for your Love and compassion.
I have never been treated with such care and compassion when we lost our pet.
Dr Ann Greenbank delivered great and safe veterinarian service for our pooch Bandit!
My Siberian husky had her x-rays for her ofa hips, elbows, and patellas. We were 1/2 early and they took us in right away! Incredible staff and customer service while we waited! The vet was extremely proffesional and kind to my dog. X-rays were perfect, positioning and clear! If we lived close in the area I would definitely make this my full time vet.
Brought my dog here today for a third opinion (yes, third!) and left feeling incredibly frustrated. My dog has been vomiting dark blood (the digested stuff) on and off for about six months and recently this month she has pooped blood twice too. She was diagnosed and treated for ulcers before but it didn't seem to be curing the problem. So I was recommended to this vet and went in. My dog is also an italian greyhound and I heard they knew greyhounds well. My other vet sent over all the documents, including ultrasounds and x-rays that have been done. When we sat down with Dr. Greenbank, things just seemed to get ridiculous. I'm not opposed to holistic treatments. Not at all, in fact. My second opinion came from the Holistic Vet in Edmonton who I do actually recommend! Anyways, none of my questions or concerns were answered. We also brought in a stool sample from today that was bloody and they never tested it or did anything with it (except take it from us which is annoying since we would have liked to have it back if they weren't going to test it, so we could take it to another vet). Dr. Greenbank then did what she called "voodoo" which involved one of the vet tech girls putting one hand on my dog's leg and one hand up in the air. Then the Dr. would touch things to my dog's back (like sealed chicken breast, or a sealed bag of treats) and push on the girl's arm... Girl's arm pushes down? My dog is allergic to that food. Girl's arm stays firm? She can eat that food. ........WHAT?! Seriously... what?! There is absolutely no way that this could test for that, the food was SEALED. This, to me, would be no different than someone putting their fingers to their temples and dreamily telling me that "I see a future of stomach ulcers for your dog..." It was nonsense. This followed by Dr. Greenbank feeling my dog's belly and telling me she had a hernia and that she was going to perform some chiropractic adjustment to fix it. She rubbed my dog's belly for maybe 3 seconds. When I left after, I saw that they charged me $42 for that "chiropractic adjustment". FORTY-TWO DOLLARS. For a 3-second belly rub that I didn't even say I WANTED. You cannot charge me for a service that you don't tell me about. That is ridiculous. 90% of the appointment was spent with Dr. Greenbank telling us about a special product that you add to the dog's homemade food. It felt more like a sales' pitch than a vet appointment. And I left $110 poorer (because, yes, I have spent over $2000 on my dog in the last couple months) with absolutely NO new information. Dr. Greenbank's advice? Keep my dog on the herb supplement that the vet I saw at the Holistic Vet office prescribed me. So for $110 I got to listen to a sales' pitch, my dog got a 3-second belly rub, and I was told to follow instructions given to me by a DIFFERENT VET. And asked to come back with all the food and treats my dog ever eats so she can test my dog for intolerance with her "voodoo"... This was incredibly frustrating. I can't even believe what went on, and I can't fathom all the good reviews. So unhelpful. Thanks for taking more of my money so easily, even after hearing how much I had already spent on my poor dog.
Great service, the worker's are very comforting withe animals, and it always presents very clean.
Straight answers, practical help and they help keep my dog heathy.
My trusted vet for going on 10 years
Caring, professional and knowledgeable staff. Have been going for years. Location is not great for me (still go there thiugh) but would highly recommend this clinic for anyone
Always quick to get the puppy in when she needs it, and friendly staff that remember who she is. Will keep taking our dog there
Always easy to take our cats in for checkups. Also helps save our cat Pharoah from a urinary infection recently with switching cat food. Thanks.
Great service. Dr. Ann truly cares for her patients.
Great vet, great office !
We've visited this vet for over ten years now, with two different dogs. Fabulous staff, and the canine chiropractic option is a huge bonus.
The BEST vet clinic we have ever gone to for our dogs and cats. The vets are wonderful, knowledgeable and practical. We've known Ann Greenbank the longest -- she is amazing with greyhounds. The vets, vet techs and office staff are kind, sensitive, genuinely care. Rates are very reasonable here. We've lived in many places across Canada and out of all the vets we've taken our pets too, this is the best!
It seems there are some communication issues in house. I let them know over the phone that my dog was reactive, and would be wearing a muzzle, but would try and bite – and should I still bring him in? On the phone, yes no problem, we can handle him. In the parking lot, where you hand off your pet due to COVID19 restrictions, I reiterated that he is reactive. Again, no problem, but please wait until we come get him. Third interaction, when they come to get him, the lady says outright "I do not want to touch him", and leaves me in the parking lot. Comes back and says they can't see him, and can't help me out at all. Keep in mind I've been to Greenbank twice before, but they were totally unprepared for handling him. A giant, disrespectful waste of my time. All I needed was to be told they couldn't handle it on the first interaction. Or, even the second. Off to a new vet I go.
Amazing and friendly staff!
Nothing but fantastic experiences at Greenbank so far! I was blessed with a mixed bag, too-many-toed kitten of unknown origin and the clinic has been fantastic in guiding me with her needs (and figuring out her age!). Everyone who works there is lovely, they lay out my options and their recommendations very clearly, and are very obvious pet lovers. It's been over a decade since I've had a kitten so I'm grateful for every bit of guidance.
This is such a nice place. Friendly and very professional staff. You can tell that they love animals. I’m in eternal gratitude. Boris and Tarantina are a very convincing proof of your good care. Xoxo.
Dr. Greenbank is wonderful! She tells you as it is. Some may take that as rude, but I personally love it!!! I would rather pay and be told straight and upfront instead of beating around the bush!! Love her!!! And the girls and staff are just as fabulous!
Really friendly and knowledgeable vets who own lots of dogs and knows them well, very reasonable charge on top of the incredible services.
Super friendly staff, and excellent prices. I just wish the vet had take a bit more time to explain my dogs new medical condition, we had to take him to an emergency clinic and that vet told us sooo much more and what to watch for, how to check his respiratory rate, they were actually surprised his regular vet hadn't explained all of this to us already.
My family has taken all of our cats to Greenbank for over 15 years and have never once been disappointed. The one time they did make a mistake, they corrected it promptly, went above and beyond and followed up on the animal all free of charge. I have nothing but the best to say about my experiences with Greenbank.
The staff is always super friendly!
Our 4 month old puppy has now visited 3 times and has always had great experiences. She is welcomed and the staff are knowledgeable and helpful every step of the way.
I can't believe this clinic is still in the reproduction business given the experience I suffered a few years ago when the absent minded tech flushed the frozen breeding dose out of my female during the TCI. By comparison, I just had another successful breeding experience at Red Deer that was surreal.
Very happy with staff and pricing. Highly recommended!
We have been going to Greenbank with our Shiba's for 16years. Knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and highly compassionate staff.
Nice people, they really take care of your animals!
Greenbank Veterinary clinic is a great place to take your pet. the people are very personable and courteous. You can see they love working with animals. My English Mastiff isn't afraid to go with one of the technicians; she is only 12 weeks old. When we pull up in front of the building, she is delighted to get inside. I trust the people at Dr Geenbanks vets to take good care of my puppy. If you have a pet, this is the place for you. Chris W
I've taken my pets to Dr. Greenbank for over 15 years. Never had a problem or an issue with her services.
At first, I thought this clinic was good because their prices were fair. However, the true measure of a clinic is how they respond when your pets get very sick. The first vet I saw brushed me off when I knew something was wrong, the second delivered devastating news to me in the busy waiting room. The front desk staff are the only redeeming factor of this clinic unfortunately. Moved on to a different clinic and 6 months after Greenbank told me there was nothing left to do for my dog, he's stable and happy thanks to vets with some empathy that were willing to think outside of the box.
Great veterinarians!
They are amazing there
Super quick and sweet to my dog. They have lots of Greyhound knowledge which is a big plus
I had to take my cat for an emergency appointment and they were able to get him and the price didn't kill me! She made sure to check all possible issues so I wasn't paying for unneeded work or medication and my kitty wasn't taking something he didn't need. THANK YOU! ❤❤
I have been going to Ann Greenbank for over close to 10 years, maybe even longer with my multiple dogs and barn cats. Everyone there is so friendly and accommodating. Ann is highly knowledgeable and will refer you to a specialist if needed. I trust her implicitly with all of my animals and although the location isn't the greatest for me, i would go anywhere to see her. She does not push you into procedures, medications, or anything like that onto you that are not necessary. She does holistic services like acupuncture and chiropractic that i know helped my Lucy Girl (German Sheppard) live comfortably with her hip issues. I have also had experience with Dr. Rivas. I would say she is more knowledgeable with Cats and smaller animals. She had great information and bedside manner with my barn cat then my giant breed dogs. This was quite a few years ago now, so it could be different. I honestly don't know what i will do when the inevitable comes and Ann decides to retire... hopefully she will allow house calls, cause i dont think i could trust another vet after her!!
Got declawing and neuter done. Very impressed with there service very friendly and cat is 100% fine.
Great care for my cat over the years. When she had an urgent issue and Greenbank was closed due to COVID precautions they were able to transfer her records to another clinic that same day.
New to Greenbank, an older dog with incontinence and a new puppy. Both have recieved the kind care I expect and despite how busy they are I do not feel rushed in my appointment
Phenomenal service, excellent care for the animals, reasonable pricing, amazing staff, what's not to love about a good vet! I've been going to Greenbank for almost 2 years, and I haven't been more satisfied with a vet, being involved in Edmonton dog scene I am pretty familiar with some of the larger vets in the city and hands down I 10 out of 10 recommend Greenbank. I will take clients and my personal dog's here until they either burn down or close the doors! Thanks for the excellent work team
good job lol
Very disappointed with my experience with them. As a reproduction specialist they should have known better than to charge me for two semen collections that were quite poor and then have me pay them and fedex to ship overnight (very expensive) for something they should have never shipped in the first place. Then they wouldn't own up to it.
The staff and Ann are always great to deal with. Ann is a great vet . I would recommend her to anyone looking for a vet for their animal.
They take very good care of my dog and I feel the prices are good. Staff are all fantastic.
Vet Green and nurses are very helpful.
I used this vet when I had my dog and now that I have a cat I bring him here to keep him in good health. I have always felt like they took our concerns seriously and that they don't try to over charge.
Love this clinic. Doctor Greenbank is very knowledgeable. My pup loves coming to see everyone at the clinic and getting all the treats
I've been going there since 1999 from other side of the city. Wouldn't change a vet for anything. The staff is awesome! Dr Greenbank and Dr Rivas will not recommend unnecessary procedures or vaccines for your pet just to increase profits. Honest and caring!
Finnigan loves his vet. He feels much better after he has visited her.
The most amazing and we'll priced vet I'm edmonton !!!! Their staff are wonderful, the facility is amazing and their cate for animals is nothing short of perfect !!! Thank you greenbank :D
is very great and helpful every time I go, not to mention the only vet I could find that supports dog pregnancy. very reasonable priced, we asked to pay before the procedure was done they wouldn't let us until after it was done because price can change . it ended up being way cheaper then the price they quoted us.
Wonderful staff and vet!
Best vet I've ever brought my dogs too.
Been with Greenbank for a few years now. Recommend it to everyone looking for a Vet. Always a good experience.
We have been with greenbank's since since our sphinx was a kitten. Thier experience with the hairless breeds is not only extensive but compassionate. We are happy to be apart of the Greenbank family!
Greenbank is very knowledgeable and she does a good job. Plus Im very cheap and I have never felt cheated at the till. Thats about as good as my endorsements go.
Great service, friendly staff always make my dog at ease
Fantastic! They will be helping with all my vet needs. They are reasonably priced Fantastic with my animals ❤ Easy to get into on short notice.
We go to Greenbank Veterinary Services for all of our cats and dogs and certainly refer them to other people. The staff are upbeat and friendly, clearly animal lovers. I also like that the clinic allows the staff to wear piercings and tattoos :) Last week it was time for my 17 year old little dog to move on. :( My boyfriend booked the appointment for us and they were clear over the phone about what would happen and what to expect. The day of the appointment, we came to the clinic and spent some time outside enjoying the sunny day. When I was ready, we took our little dog to a spacious, clean room and a tech came in and explained the procedure with a kind gentleness. She brought us some chicken treats to feed to Munkydog which he enjoyed very much. The whole procedure was quick and respectful. Greenbank and her staff made sure I had all the time I needed before and afterwards and when I was ready to say goodbye to my Little Friend one last time, I quietly left out out the side door. When Munky's remains come back, they will call me and at that time I will clear up our bill and anything else that wouldn't have been appropriate at that time. I'm thankful for that. I highly recommend both Dr Greenbank who has years of renowned experience. Her office is always full of very fancy looking purebreds - she's clearly a go-to vet for the show dog world. She's a serious woman who takes control of her clinic and tells it straight to her patients. I like that in a veterinarian. Dr Rivas is a delight. Always smiley and seems to have a real love for little dogs (I have two chihuahuas and I think she said she has chihuahuas too) She is thorough in her examinations and always seems to make plenty of time for me to address any questions or concerns I may have - follows up with testing and is sweetly sympathetic. The staff at Greenbank have a great friendly phone demeanor and are very efficient. They greet us with a smile and even usually come around the counter to offer a cookie and a couple pats. The clinic went through a bit of renos recently and looks and smells clean and bright. I will be back - hopefully for just check-up for the next long while.
Great bedside manner! We take all our animals here!
We take one of our senior dogs here for chiro adjustments and acupuncture. He always comes out feeling like a puppy. Everyone here is very compassionate about pet care.
Took my german shepherd here for my first time. From call in, to service I was pleased with the professionalism\courtesy and customer service. They are also a well oiled machine with regards to operating in the Covid world. The doc was great to deal with, my dog seemed to like everybody, and i thought it was quite reasonably priced for the services. My dog is not great with other animals and they made sure there was a clear route for her. Very impressed with this service, I have found my new vet.
Ann has been our vet/breeder for approx 12 years now. We TOTALLY trust whatever she recommends for our goldie, she is common sense and has the dog"s best interest at heart always! Her staff, including her partner Dr Rivas, and some of her office staff have been with her Longer than we have - AND they R true to heart genuinely caring people!! We are VERY HAPPY AND CONFIDENT IN THE CARE "WE" INCLUDING OUR DOG RECEIVES!!
It has been 7 years since I have had a dog and Greenbank is the same warm and welcoming place that I brought my previous dogs to... Dr. Greenbank and Dr. Rivas are great, they listen to concerns and give detailed explanations. I won't take my pets anywhere else!
Waited 25 minutes for my first appointment and ended up leaving.
We have always brought our greyhounds here. Very caring staff that love animals.
Dr. Greenbank always takes such good care of our girls! Can’t recommend their team enough.
Good rates and friendly staff. Dr. Greenbank does chiro for pets too!
So friendly. Accommodating to appointment times. Highly recommend
Awesome!
Best place in town
Incredibly attentive, knowledgeable, and straight to the point. This is by far the best vet I have encountered in Edmonton. Dr. Greenbank gives concise information, and never charges unnecessarily. We have had extensive health issues with our Boston Terrier, and the service and information given by both the Dr.'s and the staff has been outstanding. We used to see a different vet that charged us substantially more, and provided a much lower level of service. Highly recommended.
Our first visit was to have our 7 month puppy neutered. The front staff and techs were lovely, but I was puzzled by the lady who came in for his pre-exam. She did not introduce herself, nor did she greet my dog. My dog was excited to see her (as he is uber friendly and loves everyone), but she went straight to the exam. She struggled to see in his mouth because he kept trying to get to her. She expressed frustration that she couldn't examine him and I said he is trying to greet you. If you greet him, he will calm down. She seemed reluctant to do this, but sort of petted his head after which he calmed somewhat. She really did NOT seem to like or feel comfortable with him. Maybe it was his size - he is big, but honestly, I was wondering why this lady was even working there and figured she was some low tech (like an orderly). Later, I went to pick up my dog and I commented that I realized I did not actually meet the vet! The lady at the front said Oh, that's who did his pre-surgery exam! I expressed surprise and said she had not introduced herself, and she seemed afraid of my dog. I confirmed I could request the other vet when we come in the future. Based on location and other reviews, I'd like to give this clinic another chance, but no way will I have a vet oversee care of my dog who clearly does not even like dogs (or maybe just not large, friendly ones).
This place is the Best! I can't say enough good things about Dr. Greenbank. Best Vet ever!
Excellent and convenient Covid-19 protocols! Pasquale loves Dr Greenbank and the rest of the staff!
Love this clinic they have watched over several of our cats. We will continue to support them . At other clinics we have paid much more for tests for urinary issues. They are honest and extremely professional.
Dr Greenbanks is always there for my doggies . Love this clinic...
they've always been great with our pets
Very fairly priced and great with my dog. He is always happy to go to the vets.
Saved my dog on a Saturday, called them with emergency labor shutdown at 11 am. I was at there clinic 30 min latter, 10 min wait and in for an exam. My dog was in for a Caesarean section shortly after noon. I picked up my dog and the one pup she carried around 4 pm. Both are very healthy and I will be back for follow up to remove staples from incision. This follow up visit is included in original cost, telephone estimate was $1200 to $1550. Depending on how much care(hours of staff) and blood tests to ensure all was normal to go home. One big health pup and the love of my life home and healthy, $1270 later. Thank you Doctor and staff.
They are so friendly there. They don’t rip you off like most vet clinics. Highly recommend
Very friendly staff and the Veterinarian was kind and helpful. All of our questions were answered so we feel that our dog got the best treatment here.
Good vet. Always accommodates my animals
My dogs have always been very well cared for here. The staff are friendly and knowledgable. They take great care to listen and find the best treatment.
Great people, very informative.
I have used then for 25 years. I have moved a few times and tried others but always end up having my pets cared for here.
Best repro vet around!
Other than the silly fake pandemic rules they cram down our throats. They took what I thought was gonna be a nightmare dog in with no problems! Got the job done, vet called me and explained what they did and it was reasonably priced. Will be going back for sure.
Very professional friendly. Great system in place for covid that dosnt ha e you standing in the cold. Great job today Greenbank, thank you!
I brought my cat in for her regular shots. She normally doesn't like vets and things can get pretty wild. The staff at Greenbank's had her settled down right away. She had the shots and was out the door before she realized what was happening. The whole experience was much calmer than what I have been through in the past with other vets.
Great vet. Very friendly and well priced. Amazing covid protocols
Great and very professional. As always!
All my pets were well taken care of professionally, i recommend this place for your pets.
Loved our visit very friendly staff.
Didn't have time to complete a 7 minute procedure on a second dog. Poor service for a long time customer. No problem, let me free up some time for you.
Switched here a few years back. Staff and doctor are very nice and helpful.
Great staff!
Great staff, wonderful vets
Sub par Service, nothing cared for customer loyalty and very pricey, nice enough people working but very slow paced and there "checkups" on cats are a complete money grab. Also, Waiting in room 20min after scheduled appointment. The one doctor said $40 for vaccine, ended up costing $125. Checkup consisted of a belly feel and looking in ears and looking at gums not even 5 minutes of care for 70$. Will be finding a new institution.
Very friendly
