Ever since I have started bringing Belle to Didsbury Veterinary Services, (I think it has been 7 years now) I have always found the whole staff to be understanding and caring. I live in Airdrie and there are closer vet services to me that many have suggested I go to as the trip costs me in fuel. I explain that Didsbury Vet Services are well worth the time and cost as that they understand Belle may look tough but she is very timid. They understand her anxiety, they understand my anxiety, when there is something that I am concerned about with Belle, and they are always able to help the both of us relax. They have never suggested services for Belle that are unnecessary and advised against services that would not be benefit to her. Thank you all for being there and caring for both of us.

I have utilized several veterinary clinics over my 37 years. I have had pets since I was 8 years old. We have had good service, great service, atrocious service where one of my pups almost died as a result, than we experienced Didsbury Veterinary Services (DSV). While I can not say how they are with my animal as I am obviously not in there with them while they are treating them, but how they treated me in my opinion, translates to the animal. They were first, friendly and accommodating which is a rarity these days. I was helped as a team rather than just 1 single person discussing anything with me. The Veterinary Technicians (let's be honest, we should call them Veterinary associates since they do so much of the work) were informative, honest, and kind. Kind, what a word these days. It goes a long way. The prices have always been reasonable and, when the bill is presented, they take you to a room away from others and explain the cost breakdown, and allow you to ask questions. I have NEVER experienced this and was very pleased with the professional approach to this. If I didn't live so far away, they would be my primary clinic.

My cats have been going to the Didsbury Vet for approximately 4 years now. Throughout those 4 years they have seen numerous Veterinary Doctors that practice there and each one has been truly amazing and compassionate. I have since moved away from Didsbury, but continue my cats care through them. 100% worth the drive, even though Red Deer is 20 minutes closer. Fantastic help at the Didsbury veterinary clinic. I had a few worries with my large female senior baby. The vets were very helpful over the phone and caring. During the vet visit, I had all my answers and worries answered and explained. They care about animals, and it shows. Thanks for helping my girl!

A few weeks before I moved to Didsbury, my dog Buffy developed a lump on her back hip. Now, I know we all love our pets, but I REALLY love this dog. I have lived alone with her for the past 8 years, taken her to work every day, walked her for at least an hour a day, often taking her on long day--hikes. She's my baby. When I first got to this vet clinic, I waited over an hour past my first appointment time, and I was a little but annoyed, but the veterinarian was SO GOOD with Buffy and explained that they were running behind schedule and it wasn't the normal way things are done there. That situation was honestly handled so well and professionally. Buffy had a biopsy on the lump and it turned out to be cancer. I was terrified, but the team at Didsbury Veterinary Clinic did an outstanding job on the surgery to remove the lump and explaining all of the possible side effects / risks. I was especially impressed with our vet tech, Madison, she is INCREDIBLE!! I really appreciated her general care and concern for Buffy and her detailed explanation of the proper aftercare. Will definitely be back!!!! Edited to update that Dr. Misener was absolutely excellent as well!

We have a very nervous dog when it comes to vet visits, and she does not like getting her nails clipped. We have tried so many groomers and people just can't handle her. Well, they handle her perfectly and always manage an amazing trim without her coming out stressed out (with Covid, we haven't been going in the room with her). She also recently went for her yearly vet visit and the staff are always amazing with her. They are always honest about what is and isn't needed at her yearly and we certainly love that as well. Would recommend to anyone, and have. Such an awesome place.

Dr Andy and staff are amazing and always a pleasure to deal with. Each time I go I feel like I’ve gotten fair honest advice and always feel very comfortable and confident making decisions for my pets based on the recommendations I’ve gotten from them. I never feel pressured to make any decisions. Dr Andy is gentle and very patient explaining and making sure you feel comfortable and fully understand. My dogs love him and I trust him with their care. It’s an hour drive for me to get there from where I live but sooo worth it. Didsbury is fairly priced and they never over charge. I always recommend them to friends and family and everyone I know who has gone has had the same outstanding experiences.

We ate beyond grateful for Dr Shane Bosomworth answering our call @2am,meeting at the clinic at 8:00 am to thoroughly investigate what was happening to our dog, he was seriously I'll and we were referred to Animal Emergency Hospital in Red Deer where, he underwent surgery to remove a mass and a bowel resection, DR Shane Bosomworth was so compassionate and if it wasn't for his professionalism and connecting us with Dr Shouten in Red Deer,we probably would have lost him. Zeekie is doing absolutely amazing ,what a relief we didn't lose him. THANK YOU SO MUCH TO THE WONDERFUL STAFF,highly recommended to anyone with furkids big or small ????

I have been driving to Didsbury Vet Clinic from Calgary for the past three years. I have found that every veterinarian that I have seen has been very caring and attentive to my two dogs. The vet clinic is very fair with their prices. They are all about what is best for your pet and they don’t try to ever add more than what is needed. I have really appreciated that I have the vets at the Didsbury Vet Clinic to help me be the best pet parent and they are always available when I need them. Over the years I've adopted two retired breeding old english sheepdogs. They both needed to be fixed which is quite a procedure for older female dogs. The entire Disbury Vet staff really cared for my girls and gave them the extra attention and special care that was needed to get them through the procedure. Amazing people! When one of my dogs was brought to us as a puppy she had demodex. She was welcomed in right away and treated amazingly! The medication they gave worked literally within the first day and over a year later now she has no scarring, tenderness and all of her hair is completely grown back! They also fit both of my dogs in for a check after they picked a fight with a Muskrat. They treated us as if we were a scheduled patient and it went super quick! They communicated with me better than I could have asked for and as a result their extra step when a mile! My girls got a little extra that they needed which helped me tons! We’ve been going to Didsbury Vet for years with our dogs and absolutely love them, especially Dr. Andy. We never feel rushed, he takes time to answer all of our questions and never pushes any services on us, in fact it’s the opposite - he starts with the simplest approach and we take it from there. Recently I decided to bring my dog to a local vet to have a growth looked at because I was really short on time. I was told that he needed surgery to remove it and then pathology to test it, to the tune of $500. I brought him to Dr. Andy for his opinion because that seemed pretty extreme to me. Andy removed it, cauterized it and sent us on our way, for under $100. I’m so glad we didn’t put our dog through an unnecessary surgery. Needless to say I won’t try that again! Didsbury Vet for the win. All the vets we’ve seen there have been great. 100% worth the drive out there.

Dr Janice Reid was extremely thorough, and took the time to walk me through the lab results from Roxy's blood tests, as well as the estimate for the procedure we were there to consult about. She was also excellent with Roxy, who is not an easy dog to handle. I have never been to a vet where I didn't feel like the vet was rushing before, and this was a very refreshing change. Didsbury Veterinary Services is always professional and personable to deal with. They truly care about your pet and always offer the best care possible. Most recently, my Havanese was in for dental care and they were very thorough with what was going to take place ensuring they explained in great detail what Winston would be going through as well as the cost so it wasn’t a surprise. We received a call half way through the procedure to let us know how Winston was doing and to go over any concerns they may have. Upon pick up, we were explained what needed to be done when Winston came home etc. We would like to thank Dallas for her professional and personable approach as well as Dr. Lani for checking in with us throughout the day. Don’t hesitate to visit this clinic if you ever have a concern with your pet. Very very professional staff, the service is incredible (even though we’re in the middle of a pandemic). My wife and I are very happy with the service provided by the clinic. Although is a bit out of town, the trip is worth it 200%. Multicultural staff is a plus to this clinic. I will recommend to ask for Doctor Pati, very lovely doctor and will treat your pet as you do. If you speak Spanish, she’ll be there for you to help you out.

My girl Zoey injured her knee. I was a mess. I took her to be seen and Dr. Andy made the whole thing a bit better for me but mostly for my girl. She was in pain and limping pretty bad. Dr. Andy and staff have seen her every week for a shot of meds to help with the inflammation, pain and healing. It has been about a month now and I am seeing some improvement. It will take awhile to heal completely. She goes back in a week to be looked at and then I will know . As of now I would like to thank all of the staff at the clinic, for taking such great care of Zoey and my other girl Cali. They have truly made this experience easier, answered my questions and most importantly treated my girl with love and care.
