CK vet is a home based family run business. Laura is the front desk receptionist/ vet assistant. And her husband Chris is the vet. Their prices are EXTREMELY reasonable compared to the other vet in town- even when the other vet offers spay/neuter discounted months (Jan/Feb) CK vets price are still cheaper. You may have to wait a bit longer to get an appt- but we’ll worth the wait. They put a lot of blood, sweat, and tears into building their business from the ground up and have a lot of respect & loyalty from the community!! Because they are family run, they don’t have alot of staff and have shorter hours on certain days, and no after hours- they still take alot of pride in the work they do! HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM! Amazing community business that deserves an amazing review!! ????????♥️

This family run Vet Clinic offers excellent service and fair pricing. One of the best vets I've ever dealt with. Chris is very good with critters both large and small. From livestock to pets, CK Veterinary Services is your best bet in the Valleyview High Prairie area. I highly recommend them.

I came to CK Veterinary service during a time of crisis when my regular vet was away. I was very worried about my pet and looking for emergency assistance. I was turned away after 30 minutes of waiting and instructed to see my regular vet when he returns. I am absolutely appalled that no one even bothered to look at my dog or take a moment to help her in any way. I have given myself time to reflect on the incident and I would like to express my disappointment only with the lack of compassion this woman showed. I cannot rightfully comment on her veterinary skills as she refused to render any assistance to my pet in need. In the end, I drove to High Prairie to see the vet and received amazing care and hospitality for their entire staff.

I was able to get in the same day to have my cats eyes checked. The vet was very knowledgeable and caring with my cat. Compared to the cities, this vet is expensive with $80 visits plus medications. However, it is the least expensive option in the Valleyview area. The vet has expertise from horses, to cats, to cows. I'd go here again!
