They are amazing. Ive had issues with vets in the past and every single time i had an emergancy (big or small) or a concern or question they always save the day. they are very respectful and kind. When my service dog got into some bad stuff yesterday they listened to my concerns and tried to keep me calm. they squeezed us in and fixed her up no nonsense. Its worth the 30-40 minute drive from edmonton to go to them every single time.

My kitty of 18 years became ill and after a series of tests it was apparent she was terminal. The Vet did everything that was possible. She was very kind and supportive, not only to me, but to my kitty. She was my kitty's doctor per say, for the last 5 years. I highly recommend the Best Friends Animal Hospital and their highly skilled and professional Vets. I feel blessed having their support & expertise over the years.

I'm new to this area and needed a vet for my dog. When I called Best Friends they gave me an appointment very quickly. I found the staff to be super friendly and helpful. Dr. Jody Barry provided excellent care for my dog as did the staff. My questions were answered thoroughly and I got the feeling that my animal was in very good hands. This is a small clinic which makes every effort to make one feel at east. I would not hesitate to recomment them to anyone.

I took in a kitten that had been attacked by a coyote and had some pretty bad injuries. The staff were very knowledgeable and compassionate. They made me feel comfortable leaving her there for the surgery and gave me great after care advise. Thanks to them this little kitten got a second lease on life

I absolutely love the service here. The staff are always friendly and welcoming. They are very informative and answer all my questions; even answer any questions I have via Facebook message or emails. Always been able to squeeze me in as soon as possible if need be. We have nothing but amazing things to say about Dr.Jody and her staff. Although we met them under horrible circumstances, she was very sympathetic and answered all of the questions we had.They were so accommodating to getting Lincoln in and all services were reasonably priced. It is to bad we met her at the end of our dog's journey. We highly recommend this office and will definitely return if we get another pup in the future.

I chose Best Friend's Animal Hospital to get my dogs vaccines updated because the vet also treats birds and avian vets are hard to come by (I have 5 birds as well). My normal vet doesnt treat birds so I was trying to be smart and find one to treat all my animals. This visit was definitly less than steller. I got one of my dogs rabies and kennel cough updated as well as flea and tick treatment/dewormer for both of my dogs. They took him to the back for 30 minutes to do the exam which I get because of covid. Then the vet comes in with no hi or hello but I instantly got a mini lecture about the fact I feed raw to my dogs. After the lecture I was told that my boy was very healthy besides a little bit of tarter that can be corrected by brushing his teeth. That definitly rubbed me the wrong way for sure especially being a new client. 1 week after the visit my dog wakes us up coughing like crazy as if he had kennel cough. I just though hey its side effects from the vaccine, no big deal. Well last night I wake up to my other dog coughing so hard he throws up. He has been doing this continually since last night. They both had/have kennel cough and I believe they got it from the vet since that was the only place he went besides in our fenced yard before and after the appointment. Only reason im not doing 1 star is because I work retail and know how bad 1 stars look.

We brought our two new Yorkies to see Jody and continue to see Jody as she is amazing with them. Jody is vey knowledgable about our puppies health. She has offered us great advice for training and also grooming suggestions. We would definitely recommend to bring your fur babies to her.

Staff was so friendly. Daisy is usually really scared of new places but she was perfectly calm here. They also helped me get her on a new diet. Reccomended to any cat lovers in spruce grove.

Finally an avian vet in Spruce! Dr. Jody Barry was great with our Indian Ringneck, Kiwi. The staff are friendly and the bills are very reasonable too. It is comforting to know that now if we have any emergencies with any of our parrots - we can get help quickly.

After calling several other clinics and being told my daughters hamster needed to be looked at I finally reached out to Best Friends AH. The staff were courteous, and welcoming. They took time to explain things to my daughter as the pet owner. The clinic was clean and well organized. Thankful for their help!

Brought my dog in cause he was peeing in the house none stop. They did a vet check to find out he had crystals in his bladder. They set him up on new dog food. His system is now cleaning and is no longer peeing in the house. Down side is he has to stay with this dog food to keep him this way. Cost a little more than regular dog food

This review is long over due. We were treated horribly. Had to take my pet in for an emergency as we were unable to see our regular veterinarian. The vet who we saw, also the owner of this establishment (I belive) was uncomfortable performing tests on my pug with me accompanying him. I was not comfortable leaving him to go for tests with a new vet on our first visit to the establishment. When she refused to preform the service in my presence, I had a bad feeling in regards to the way my baby would be treated in the back. I decided to leave and seek the help of another veterinarian. I was still charged a full examination fee even though a full exam had not been completed. I feel this business is out for a cash grab and does not care about the well being of the pets who require services.
