When I called I was greeted with just a “hello” and no introduction to the business. I had to ask if I called the right number. I was then met with “yes but it’s after closing”. Alright. Yes it was 5 minutes after. I asked if they would do an emergency appointment for a dog that got porcupine quilled. And was then met with a very sarcastic “yup! Bright and early at 8 am tomorrow when we are actually open.” Extremely unprofessional. Especially when dealing with someone who is clearly upset over her dog who is in a lot of pain. Human decency goes a long way. Every other office I called was nothing but supportive and kind. This person doesn’t have the compassion for animals that they should to be working at a vet clinic. One star is being generous.

Words can’t even explain thank you so much for what you guys did for my babies.... Douglas my red nose pitbull and Samson my American bulldog also want to thank you Douglas recently ran into a porcupine and had a terrible experience with the vet then just 2 weeks later he did it again a good friend of mine referred me to bellis vet so we drove an hour to get there this vet is absolutely compassionate and very professional and took care of them in no time Douglas was pretty bad and Samson only had a couple and they are not a rip I would 100% recommend them and will be seeing them in the future just hopefully not for the reasons of a Porcupine encounter thank you guys so much

Hi, I was on vacation and staying in St. Brides, AB...googled this vet after the dog was run over by the 4-wheeler. They waited for my arrival, though I'm sure there were farm calls...less expensive than I expected. Definitely will recommend. Not for teeth cleaning though...400-1000.00 Cdn.?! I can get it done here starting at 180.00 US.

Friendly staff. Always there when my aging pack and flock needs them. We rescue animals so it can get expensive. The gang at the Bellis shop is ready for ever emergency we have. Rates are reasonable. Were are all on first name basis now we are there so often. We would be so lost without these talented folks. We always have great educational discussions about how to help our animals and explore treatments and medications not often used. My old pack and flock are so healthy thanks to them. Thank you so much! 10 out of 10!

The staff are friendly and courteous not so much for the veterinarian. Very poor communication skills and jump the gun by giving extra shots without asking approval. I would expect more professionalism from any organization.

Me, my husband and beautiful little Teeka, 9 year old blonde yorkie, fled Fort McMurray on the 4th of May to our campsite off of highway 36. As we were getting ready to head to Edmonton the next day Teeka was attacked by 2 German Shepherds and they gravely injured her and Bellis was the closest clinic. The staff were so sweet and thoughtful to two crying inconsolable fur parents that had to put their baby down and we will be forever grateful for how kind everyone was to us. Her remains were sent to be cremated and sent back to us in a beautiful hand painted urn all for no cost. I can't remember the name of the crematorium but I will get it to thank them as well. Once again thank you from the bottom of our heart

I highly suggest not using Bellis. Our diabetic dog needed her insulin refilled. Bellis said to bring her in but don't give her anything to eat or her shot for the morning so they could monitor her. She was on 15 units of 40iu Caninsulin. They changed her prescription to 12 units of some other brand of 100iu insulin. We trusted the vet that they knew thats what she needed. In the following weeks she was eating 12+ cups of dog food and losing weight. Took her to Gibbons vet for a 2nd opinion. He told us to get her a glucose monitor and test her levels every 2 hrs. Her levels were 20-28 and never below 20. When I called Bellis they tested her on Caninsulin at her regular dose!!! And prescribed her something totally different! She almost died.

I took my cat in to get fixed it will be three days before I get her back...I booked an appointment and paid double I do not recommend this place to any one who cares about thier animals....and the receptionist has the audacity to tell me to get a job....no phone call...just excuses....
