Waterloo Engineering is a great community! My peers are incredibly driven and supportive of eachother. The Waterloo co-op program also gives multiple opportunites to grow outside of the classroom, gain new skills, and prepare for the work after graduation.

The UW Faculty of Engineering is a great faculty to be a part of as a student, alumni, faculty, and staff member! There are amazing resources available to students and alumni. The receive an immense amount of support from the Fcaulty. Engineering students are accurately prepared for what the future holds irrespective of if they end up going into Engineering or non-engineering roles! The interdisciplinary programs are all tied together to give them a well-rounded educational experience. The compulsory co-op program as an engineering student really prepares you for the real word so that by graduation, you have a ton of experience that propels you further to reaching your dream career goal!
