NYIT, Vancouver is one of the most excellent institutes in North America based on my experience. A friendly atmosphere, knowledgeable professors, Professional online portals, and respectful staff have made New York Institute of Technology a high-level academic institute. Most of the professors come from UBC and SFU, and most of them work in the professional fields that made them experts in the related major.
However, the COVID pandemic has made unreachable laboratories, but it couldn't decrease their qualities. Classes were combined Online and in-person and sometimes were entirely online. The elective courses have a great diversity to cover the majority of student interests. Free-print of necessary academic paper was a symbol of NYIT system responsibilities and respectfully. Student service planned a great event while pandemic has restricted a lot. Financial staff were excellent behavior and quick response even though on the weekend and late, especially over term registration. The university cared about health and safety by preparing to sanitize and face masks for all staff and students over pandemics. NYIT request feedback from professors, and they considered every aspect of improving more and more training missions. Many online workshops are planned and help students to boost their new life and their future. The career office, graduation office, and registrar offices worked professionally and replied to your requests with a great solution and help. Also, many software is available to download and install on your PC or laptop via NYIT's email address. Moreover, if your laptop or PC gets an emergency issue, you can borrow a laptop freely from NYIT for two weeks to fix your system.
I was delighted, and frankly, I highly recommend this university for your probably next plan to educate. The cost is relatively high but is the same as another institute is fine overall for international students, but you have to pay $ US. I hope NYIT can improve the library resources and time available of materials as soon to make everything ready to go...
