Lovely lady working the counter and the kitchen with a nice beach setting to eat your food. Wait can be long if there is a lot of people visiting town, but you drove over 1000km to get here, relax and enjoy! We got to play with several puppies from the house next door as we waited!

Hey Castel

This is THE place to stop for lunch in Tuk. Have Grandma prepare you some mukluk and fish and chips. You'll find lots of interesting history in her drawing room where you can enjoy her family's hospitality while you eat lunch looking out over the Beaufort Sea.

Very unique location, the hosts of this place are amazing. We had Muskox Burgers and the Muktuk sampler. The hosts let my kids try on their parkas and tought us about the area and culture. Strongly recommend stopping here.

Great location, very friendly people both owners and visitors. Food a little pricey but, considering location overall a great place to visit, eat and dip your toes in the Arctic Ocean

Didn't actually buy anything here but boy is it a nice place to warm up and chat with like-minded people. Super cozy place. Must stop here if you visit the Arctic!

It was a joy to meet John and his wife. By special coincidence I met several of John's relatives in Ft McPherson, James Creek and Dawson City. They were all special people. John invited me in and I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at Grandma's Kitchen. I hope to return next year.

If you want to try local cuisine, try the sampler plates for $10 each. You won't regret it. Beluga and white fish were both delicious
