The best around! Saint Hubert Flying School is a great place to get your wings. You're taken care of from the start til the end. The chief flight instructor is a very nice man who will help you get where you want to be. If i had to choose all over again, i would go back with my eyes closed. Amazing staff & service I did my ATPL program here and currently working as a first officer on the Fairchild Metroliner. The instructors are really highly skilled and taught me many things especially Francis that i took with me into my current career. The Chief Pilot is a great person and highly professional skilled pilot who would go the extra mile to help you and make sure you are ready and prepared. Martin the ground-school instructor is a highly knowledgeable person in aviation, he will make sure you are equipped with the knowledge you need to pass all the written exams but he will leave you with experience and knowledge that you would only know how valuable it is once you start working in an airline. Hedi ,one of the best skilled instructor in my opinion was a valuable part in my training and taught me countless things. Aircraft are well maintained and serviced with no accident history (GZKM was my favorite ). Bassima would always make sure that all your flying schedule is set and handles all the paperwork that you need, even make you a cake on your birthday :) . It felt like home and family Thank you

I really enjoyed my time at SHFS. It is a great learning environment, with a diverse student body and very knowledgeable instructors and dispatch, the Chief instructor is a true legend. You do get pushed out of your comfort zone, and you will have to make an effort to learn, however prime emphasis is definitely on safety and procedures as the Chief and dispatch actually care about you and your success. I managed to finish a PPL in around 4 to 5 months summer of 2019. This is probably one of the best flight schools in the Montreal region.

I’m so happy I found SHFS. I recently completed my CPL there. Mr Hamdi (the CFI) and Bassima went above and beyond to make my training affordable and efficient. The school focuses on safety, their fleet is well maintained. The atmosphere is friendly, welcoming and organised at the same time. It made me look forward to my training even more. My instructor Hedy was the best, extremely knowledgeable, patient and a great teacher. I’m looking forward to competing my instructor rating with them. If you want to just be able to focus on your training, meet great people and have positive experiences I highly recommend SHFS. I wish I found them from the beginning!

Very disciplinary and loving school who care about there students and make you feel that you are part of a family. Very good instructors, bassima and the chief are super nice respectful and they push there students for success. The planes are awesome you have a choice between Cessna and piper's. All in all st.hubert flying school is the school if you want a very structured coehisive excellent instructor school at.hubert is for you. I had many pilots who work for air Canada and air transat recommend st.hubert flying school as the place to be if you want to be a pilot.

I have started my formation in this, what was once called a flight school, around 3 years ago. I am nothing but AMAZED with the quality of experience this, what is now a certified College, has offered me. I have started from nothing, and this school taught me everything. Not only about flying, but about life itself and helped me build such strong qualities and a positive attitude. Something that has strong importance in the aviation industry as it is not just about flying skills, but about knowledge, experience, attitude, presentation, decision making, safety and the list goes on. Bassima and Chief were by my side every step of the way just like they are following each and every one of their student like it is one of their own keeping safety and the highest quality of education as their priority concern. They work hard day in and day out to make every single one of their students happy and everyone in this school is a witness of this. I can definitely speak for myself and say that they have really went above and beyond for me. To me now, I consider them my family, my best friends and my mentors. They gave me the greatest gift I could ever wish for and this is something I will keep with me for life and never forget. This is a school you want to do your studies in and if I would have gone back in time, I would have done the same thing. I see many of my friends from other schools dissatisfied as they are only considered a number. At Saint Hubert Flying College, we are all family. We know each and every one who flies there. We help each other, we push each other, we fly together, we basically are all one. Definitely not something that would be found in other schools. I now have my ATPL (ATP College Integrated) with 200-250 hours with Multi Crew Cooperation experience (and diploma). Now the sky is the limit! I absolutely love this school! The management takes care of their students & follow the highest safety regulations! All airplanes maintenance is performed at high standards & there is no accidents history in that school! Trust me you will enjoy your experience there!!! One of the worst schools ever. Period. Owners (the chief pilot and wife) will be nice at the beginning when you still need to pay, but once all payments are done he will turn to the most rude and obnoxious person. Prices are never what they seem to be. They advertise a price then when you go and pay, it will be a much bigger sum. When I asked questions on how come it's not the same price the answer from the lady at the desk (the wife of the owner) only answer was: So what? you are not going to pay now? ATPL students beware. They charge astonishing prices for the whole kit without giving details. When I asked for the bill with details, they would not give it to me. Then I found the bill and I was furious. I payed 399$ for an ASA headset worth 130$, the uniforms were hundreds of $. I'm posting my bill I managed to "find" for my self since they will try to hide this from everyone. Beware also of the so called "fuel surcharge". It's a tip for the school. There is no such thing as fuel surcharge. When the owners were confronted with it they had no explanation and just went on saying that's the price to pay. THIS IS WHY THE PRICES ARE SO LOW!!!!! THE FUEL SURCHARGE OF 30$ AN HOUR ARE NOT SHOWN!!!!! Maintenance apparently is horrible, there are CADORS on engine failure occurrences due to bad maintenance. Instructors are slavered. I felt really bad for them. Some though were really good. Only good point of the school I guess. Absolutely stay away from school. IS NOT AS CHEAP AS IT LOOKS, THEY WILL GET THE REST OF THE MONEY IN OTHER WAYS FROM YOUR POCKET. so might as well chose a better school, with apparently higher prices. You will end up paying the same. Just a quick search on the internet and you can see that these people are thieves. STAY AWAY FROM THIS SCHOOL.

I started my ATPL at Saint Hubert flying school in the year of 2016. It was the best decision I ever made, since day one I felt welcomed, everyone was friendly there. I will start with the ground school. The ground school at Saint Hubert Flying COLLEGE " now ", is what I can say, is the best ground school you will have in the region, the ground school is giving by an instructor who is very knowledgeable in aviation, he gave Airbus type rating courses, he gave coursed to couple of airlines, he also read and corrected most of aviation books and the list goes on, so when I say it's the best place to learn aviation, it really is, unlike other schools they only open slides on a projector and read it out for you. Now the most important part, the Airplanes. When it comes to airplanes and safety, the college is very strict and firm when it comes to student's safety and airplanes maintenance, which is the reason why, Saint Hubert Flying College have the least accidents and incidents. The students are taught with the highest safety standards, they are also taught to reach the highest flying and decision making skills. With the combination of the incredible ground school, flight training, efforts and safety standards, the students graduate with a professional flying skills, which will be guaranteed to satisfy any future employer requirements. The Airplanes are very well maintained, they are always maintained on schedule, if the college suspect even tiny problem with an Airplane, they call the maintenance guy to come over and check/Fix it on the spot. Every day in the early morning, the chief instructor Mohammed Hamdi, check the airplanes, one by one, to make sure they are all still airworthy and has no problem, so that the students can have a safe flight, even though the Chief is checking all the airplanes, still the student must do the walk around and make sure that the airplane meets flight requirements. The instructors at the college are hired based on the college's standards and requirements which are not very easy to meet, they have to satisfy all the College standards. The instructors at the college are very humble and down to earth, they are always smiling and very happy to assist any students, answer all their questions and help them prepare for their exams. One of the best things and what makes Saint Hubert Flying College very distinguished from all other schools in the region, is the MCC course ( Multi Crew Coordination ), The course is giving on a Boeng 737 simulator with a former Air Canada captain. Regarding the college's administration, madam Bassima and the chief instructor Mohammed Hamdi, are the most kind hearted people I have ever met, they go above and beyond to help the students, they really care about their students, they always push and motivate us to study and finish our training on time but without jeopardizing the quality of training. I personally wasn't the easiest type of students, as an international student, I faced many problems during my training, but the chief Mohammed Hamdi and madam Bassima were there for me all the time, they provided me with all the help they can offer and were extremely patient with me, I remember once I got refused for my CAQ renewal and madam Bassima took matters into her own hands and called the immigration office and spent long time with them on the phone to solve my problem, after that I got approved, without her help, I would have been able to finish my training. The chief instructor also worked very hard to make sure I finish my training on time, there are days where he had to come at a very early hour to do flights with me or stayed very late hours to make sure I get all my training. Now I'm very happy to say I have graduated from the College, thank you for making my dream come true and thank you for making me the pilot I'm today, I'm very satisfied with my knowledge and my flying skills thanks to you. Wonderful and unforgettable experience! The best decision of my life was definitely entering inside this building summer 2017. Since I’m a kid I wanted to be a pilot and I am today because of them. I was only 18 when I started and I was a foreign student from France, 6000km from everyone I knew. They took care of me, they taught me everything and made me feel home. Bassima and Mohamed are friendly and generous people who are always trying to make your experience better. They took care of my immigration paper, they made me finish on time when I had my exams booked for the following week, all the time in a super professional way. They are by the book and strict with their rules, and it’s like that that we are feeling safe as students. The maintenance is always taking care of, it’s really something that counted for me. Safety first. If there’s too much wind, you’ll see some schools let their students go, not us. Because the Chief Instructor is always about safety first and you feel safe with these kind of rules. He will teach you how to fly like a professional pilot, safely and aware of what’s happening inside and outside of your plane. The ground school with Martin Papenek , what can I say beside the fact that this teacher made me love aviation and challenged me like no one did. He made me love subjects that I never thought I would. He even made me learn English. He was an amazing teacher and an inspiration for me day by day, and still is. So much knowledge and experience that you can ask literally any question, he will find the answer. The ATPL integrated program was intense and you have to be ready. A lot of informations and knowledge are important during the course, but step by step, PPL, Night Rating, CPL, Multi Engine Rating, IFR Rating, MCC on 737NG, SARON and SAMRA exams, you’re learning everything you need to know to be the best pilot anywhere in the world. I will really miss this school, because it was a big part of my life, as a pilot, as a student, as a man. Thanks for everything you’ve done for me, I won’t never forget. If I could put 6 stars I would. P.S.: For the story, I loved so much the school that I made my brother start the same training as me and he loved it too!

best as a flight school. I ve been in an another school before and as a victim of that school in area, easily noticed that school is best in area. Because, while i was searching to transfer school, I've experienced all flight school`s approaches to students. "Its so obvious that they just want your money"! But SHFS pay attentions to each students as one by one. Now, I am almost done with integrated atpl program and very excited to get college diploma as well which is recognized by Minister of Education. Chief Instructor, Bassima and all instructors are very professional, helpful, nice and kind people makes you feel at home and at same time very disciplinary and keep motivates you to be success always. I highly recommend this school apart from other schools in CYHU since I personally have friends who are not happy around other schools in CYHU and moved to my school due to lack of care, customer service and greed for your money. Hey everyone, My name is DAHER Abdel Raouf, I came to Canada in 2017 with the dream to become a pilot. A small story about my era I have started my training at Calgary and I had to stop so I decided to come to Quebec and from there I have started my real training. After getting my private pilot license I started flying at my school where I had to stop and I felt like it was the end for the training and I had decided to go back to my country. After one month which was last October I decided to go and visit other schools I was scared to commit again with one school but with a luck I went and visited SAINT-HUBERT FLYING COLLEGE and I sat down with the chief instructor and I explained him everything. He told me “the chief instructor" don't worry about everything and I am going to help you as much as I can. I felt comfortable afterward and I signed in and I have started my training. I started flying with an instructor who is a pilot of jazz and he helped me toward my commercial pilot license. From October to July between ground school and flying and transport Canada exams it was tough but at the end I made it and I finished all my training in a short time which is ten month. One good things about the training at my school is not only flying and ground school, it is the social life we share all together and help each other in the good times and bad times and the best part it is the barbecue. Oops I kind of forgot to talk about the multi crew corporation that Saint Hubert flying college give us. It was the best experience of my life not only because we do it in the simulator 737 but the instructor who teach us, retired pilot from air Canada with 15000 flight hours, it is amazing. During all my training I had a very good experience with the chief instructor whose name is Mohamed Hamdi and Bassima Melki the responsible of all the student and secretary of the school. These two persons are one of the best person I met in Canada because they were and are and will be every times here for me and help me and push me. To sum up Saint Hubert flying school is for me the best environment to learn how to fly and to build your attitude for the future. I'm glad to see that kind of education, friendship, support, service and help from SHFS as a passioned future graduate.
