I just took a drive through your campus today (June 8th, 2014). I went into one of your parking lots and drove extremely slowly till I could get out of the parking lot. You have a nice new sign and a nice looking campus from Wascana Parkway then when you go in, it's a whole different story. The money you spend putting up that shiny new sign could have maybe fixed up some of your roads and parking lots. They are disgusting. I won't be going through your campus for drive any time soon.

I've had my heart set on moving to the city and going to this specific college but now reading the reviews...? Not to mention the unreadable and very unnavigable website. Regina's traffic is way better and more relaxed then say Saskatoon. I bought a blue u of r sweater and am loving it! Except for the armpit fuzzies it gives a person. Anyways lol, campus seems abit randomly laid out. Already college grad friends of mine say each faculty has their own floor within a building which seems cool. Easily got lost when took a self guided tour. AMAZING gym!!! "Eh" in door pool(s).

Greatest place to learn; it is so amazing that they can prepare anyone for the future! In my opinion everyone should take a class here because the first class they take will open there minds to a whole new world of opportunities. Every dollar spent was worth it because you can't put a price on Education. Every Professor is well trained by the University to be able to teach any student. After the first year; you will notice how more intelligent you are when communicating with the rest of the world or anyone that tries to challenge you.

I just started attending this year and adore it. The campus is easy to navigate around (lost? Walk around in a circle). The professor are kind and passionate about what they are learning about and will never turn you away if you need assistance. Most of the professors have walk-in hours so you do not have to book an appointment to see them. The campus is clean with good food and lots of possible study areas. The only downside so far is the parking issue. There are 300+ people on a waiting list for parking. It does however offer tons of bus routes that take you from almost anywhere in the city to university which can save plenty of time. Overall, a great school so far.

From P Tower to CW, the environment is very comfortable, the bed is very soft and the sun is good, everything is very complete. The campus is the most beautiful, just like a fairy tale world, but Regina is a very small city. If you want to come to the university, you must be mentally prepared. The small place is not good for graduation and the pressure is relatively high. Overpriced and profs that don't care. Bought "required books" two of which were not ever used in class. Forced to pay gym fees, I don't use the gym. All classes are online and we are still having to pay full price. This school nickel and dimes you for everything. The U of R doesn't even deserve one star.

A good university which looks and feels really modern, especially in the newer built areas. The new dorms are great for students and there are good underground paths in some areas for the height of winter. It’s close to the airport and the city. Also it’s great that it is along the Lake if you want to get out for a run.

Tried to make a delivery to Wakpa Tower (student residence) nearly impossible to find where to go to, roads look like sidewalk walkways and the only entrance door was hidden by some large machinery. Very frustrating experience!

(Translated) One of the best experiences I've had in life is studying at this university, not only because you can learn from what they teach you, you will learn more from the people around you, there are hundreds of people from different countries studying with you, you can learn about their culture and their way of being, in addition this school has the option of staying within the facilities, it has a food center where you can buy a meal plan or you can choose to eat pizza, hamburgers, wings, desserts or international food. It has a gym, equipped and comfortable classrooms, as well as transportation to move around the city that passes right in front of the University. Canada is a great option to develop yourself as a person and learn from others, meet people and make friends from all over the world. As for education, from my perspective they have a very light system, compared to that of my country, however I think it is good to focus on important subjects and not have filler materials, in Mexico we usually take from 7 to 9 classes per semester, instead they take mostly 4 subjects, in addition the university is very concerned about their well-being and their mental health, giving them options of spa, gym, relaxation areas, etc. Something that does not happen in my country. (Original) Una de las mejores experiencias que he tenido en la vida es estudiar en esta universidad, no solo por qué puedes aprender de lo que te enseñan, aprenderás más de las personas que están a tu alrededor, hay cientos de personas de diferentes países estudiando contigo, puedes aprender de su cultura y de su forma de ser, además está escuela cuenta con la opción de hospedarte dentro de las instalaciones, tiene un centro de comida dónde puedes comprar un plan de comida o bien puedes seleccionar entre comer pizza, hamburguesas, alitas, postres o comida internacional. Tiene gimnasio, aulas equipadas y cómodas, además de transporte para moverte dentro de la ciudad que pasa justo frente a la Universidad. Canadá es una gran opción para desarrollarte como persona y aprender de los demás, conocer gente y hacer amigos de todo el mundo. En cuanto a la educación, desde mi perspectiva llevan un sistema muy light, comparado con el de mi país, sin embargo creo que es bueno enfocarte en las materias importantes y no tener materias de relleno, en México por lo regular llevamos de 7 a 9 clases por semestre, en cambio ellos llevan en su mayoría 4 materias, además la universidad se preocupa mucho por su bienestar y por su salud mental, dándoles opciones de spa, gimnasio, zonas de relajación, etc. Algo que en mi país no sucede.

Love performing here and visiting on occassion. Gives me a feel of photography/ inspiration. Went here for Toastmasters and really got educated. Also has food court cafes and even an awesome bar restaurant called the Owl with lots of events all the time. Nice feel as if everyone welcome. Good outlet for All cultures and walks of life. The professors and program coordinators don't reply to any emails and they also don't care about their students . If a student has a genuine reason, and that they are really very sick ...professors still don't give extension in time . Basically if a student got into an accident and they injured them selves ...they are still expected to turn in the assignment the same day . Worst university

Growing up in Regina I spent my first two years of University there, in Business, and then Science. A few gem teachers here and there, but the quality of education is par at best. Worst of all is just the general morale of the school. After moving to UBC Okanagan (slightly smaller campus), I realized how unenthusiastic the student body is at the U of R. Everyone just seems collectively dismal and lethargic. The only thing worth noting is the athletic facilities at the U of R.

The buildings are well organised i would say as someone like me with 0 geographical sense was able to find the place i was looking for. Honestly a joke. I am a first year student and if I didn't want to become a teacher as much as I do, I would rather work at McDonald's for the rest of my life than spend another minute at this school. Not only is it overpriced (mediocre education), but you also don't get your money's worth because they act like you are not worth their time. I think I learned more in elementary school than I have this year, not to mention that elementary schools actually treat you like a human being. I sincerely advise anyone who is considering applying here to reconsider. I beg you to go somewhere else that is worth your time and money. I know university is supposed to be challenging, but it should challenge you academically rather than challenging your worth and sanity.

No doubt this institution is a party school. But if you really care about learning and are serious about your degree, those distractions will not fathom you. Somewhat hardcore on the social justice worriers as well, but none of them will harass you as compared to other post-secondary schools I've attended (Although, the Christian clique likes to try convert you in the main centre on some days). The content taught here is of very well research, a lot of it original, and neutral in its controversies. The student-professor relations are quite personal and the profs. tend to share their concern when you do not attend class (they want you to pass). Food really sucks here, but it's getting better; year by year. Class sizes are typically small and leave room for inter-personal relationships with a diverse body of students. There is a heavy Indigenization effort which helps Indigenous students succeed in their academics. The services are accessible and have very short waiting times. The facility is great and compact, so you won't do too much walking, although classes do tend to be in random locations around campus. Parking is not much of an issue, but ticket issuers are an issue-- and they're abundant. Overall great school, great academics, and very accessible for all. Regina is an alright city as well. Not as dangerous as the media makes it seem. Just don't walk anywhere north of Dewdney Ave by yourself in the evenings.

If you are new to the city and are considering going to this university, don't. The social aspects of this university are awful. Its nearly impossible to get involved and meet people. A large international population creates a lot of uneasiness and jumble of cultures. Its a nightmare. Please consider another university and don't make the same mistake.
