One of the best collèges in Canada , with an amazing bilingue expérience and an eye-treating campus . Small class size and considerate professors . Located centrally near to all amazing places such as downtown and malls .

What a wonderful place to spend an afternoon with a picnic. Very easy to get to by public transit. Busses 11 from Davisville station and 124 and 162 from Lawrence Station.

Beautiful area to walk and or hike around. Very quite during the pandemic and only a few local area residents out walking there dogs. The parking is normally paid parking but today found out it is complementary. So even better for some morning exercise and take in the amazing views of the buildings and forested area backing the campus.

Graduated 95. Great small classes allowed me to speak to some amazing professors and learn lots. Atrocious social life, not sure what that says about me. I lived at home. Worked on bilingual newspaper Pro Tem which was fun. I generously rate four stars as I would not advise others to live at home or live in residence here. I went to school with Ralph Gomez who is now a prof at U of T. I'm guessing he would rate Glendon well.

York University Glendon campus was highly recommended by our friend. He wanted us to visit this place so much that on a rainy day he booked a cab, took time off from work, and guided us through the corridor of the campus. It was a rush but worth it. It was an early morning for me, couldn’t wake up on time. But such is life????.

I definitely enjoyed my unique program (env and health studies) since there are interesting courses available and excellent professors teaching them. Glendon is a very small community so you will have an easier time making friends. The problem with Glendon is the French department for anglophones. If you decide to learn French at Glendon, just note that many of the professors are quite rude and unwilling to help. It makes learning French a harder process. Other than that, Glendon is an excellent school!

Nice grounds in the summer. Very limited food options, the Tim Hortons in here closes for the weekends and the summer months (roughly May-August). No food places within walking distance, unless you go over to Sunnybrook Hostpital, which is a 15 minute walk.

Most of those French teachers are very racist, immature and frankly mean. The most racist university or college campus I have been to and the administration will mostly ignore student complaints.

Walked through the grounds during Fall as part of a little trek on the trail through Glendon Forest behind the campus. Surprisingly quiet and pretty campus given that busy Bayview Ave borders it to the west.

Beautiful, picturesque, and calm campus connected to many nature trails traversing Glendon forest. Located in a very affluent part of Toronto, Glendon is close to Bridle Path, Sunnybrook hospital and park, the Toronto French School, and Crestwood Private School.

Glendon is a beautiful campus surrounded by trees and a peaceful vibe that makes you forget you're still in the heart of the city. The rose garden behind the library is especially nice, but the entire campus during Fall is absolutely majestic. The only major downfall is that there is no convenience store on campus and no restaurant besides the cafeteria, a tiny Tim Hortons and the coop (Lunik) which often saves the day with tasty vegan food, though at times inconsistent in their supply. Luckily you can grab a bite or a proper coffee near Lawrence Subway Station, the closest to the campus. As for the actual courses at Glendon, they're amazing: offered in your choice of French or English, in decent size groups and by talented and knowledgeable professors. Close to a five, but eh, I'm a foody ;-)

I love this location. Amazing place and classes aren't as crowded as Keele campus, and the professors are very friendly and knowledgeable. I love their teaching and the classes are maxed at 25 people so it's very convenient to speak to the professors and have a one-to-one learning experience. I wish it has free parking as well but anyway, it's good enough.

Recently graduated from Glendon College. Overall not a great experience. I think everyone who recently graduated from the French program would agree that the department is full of out-dated, in-need-of-retiring-soon professors. I did my first two years at the University of Ottawa and the French Department at uOttawa is much better, which is surprising considering that Glendon is supposed to be known for their language learning. If your goal is to become a French teacher, do not go to Glendon College. Their education program is even worse; I was warned not to do my BEd @ Glendon/ York by many students currently in the education faculty.
