Stayed for 4 nights last week and the minute I walked in, it made me feel like I was in a luxury castle. The entire place is so beautiful and the views are stunning.

A beautiful place. No words can truly describe the color of the water in Lake Louise. A glacier fed turquoise lake sits at the foot of the towering Fairmont Chateau. We visited in late August and took in some of the sights. There are lots of hikes in the area, the lake front was quite busy with people. A must see for anyone traveling in the Banff area.

A grand hotel located in a majestic landscape that's worthy of a stay.

We had a wonderful time at this hotel celebrating our wedding anniversary, the staff was very friendly and helpful. Checking in was so smooth even though we showed up a bit earlier but they let us check in! The concierge was also very helpful and helped me arrange some cupcakes and balloons for our room! We also received a nice personal card from the Manager (Tracy) congratulating us on our day, thanks that was a nice touch!!!

Rooms were really small and generally the amenities could be upgraded in order for this to really feel like a 5-star hotel, however I will say the staff were great. Jill at the Poppy Brasserie served us breakfast and went above and beyond. We'd come back just to be served by Jill again !!!! We visited in September and my mum and I still remember how kind she was (it was also my birthday and she made it extra fun). Jill Mitchell and Taylor at the Fairview were also excellent. We had a bit of a hiccup regarding requesting window seating and not getting it - but they accommodated us kindly and with patience making our experience great. Thank you again to both of you for taking care of us :) Altogether, the hotel is known for its beautiful location and that's what you get. Nothing beats the location. Amenities could be upgraded, rooms could be redone to be more comfortable/modern/spacious, but the staff really made up for where the hotel lacked.

Beautiful hotel! We eloped here June 17th. Staff was so kind, polite and knowledgeable. They go above and beyond to make sure your stay is great. Super accommodating. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. We stayed in a 1 bedroom king suite. The view was amazing. In room breakfast was delicious! Highly recommend this hotel for your special occasion!

Incredible place to visit. Canoeing there is more fun as well check out morraine lake.

The tea was fantastic, great service, amazing food, stunning view. The only downside was the amount required to pay for parking & the time it took to pay for it. Will return for tea again for sure.

The hotel was classy & glamorous! Quite pricey but… I understand why. The view of Lake Louise is remarkable, darling and delightful!! The hotel has a rustic and antique but modern look and feel to it. The rooms were stupendous, absolutely stunning with a view of Lake Louise, everything was just beautifully designed. The food was good but only for meat eaters and alcohol drinkers. My family and I are vegetarians and drink no alcohol. We had little to no options for breakfast, lunch & dinner. It was so difficult to find meals to eat, we had to order out most of the time and when we had breakfast they had yogurt, avocado toast, waffles, croissants and pancakes + juices. We had tried the yogurt, avocado toast and croissants + juices. It was all right compared to lunch and dinner for lunch and dinner they had absolutely nothing to eat, we had to order out most of the time. Everything apart from that was fantastic I had a great time especially since the canoeing on Lake Louise was so near to the hotel, again it was wonderful I recommend the hotel highly!!

Amazing historical chateau overlooking Lake Louise. The place is immaculately kept and very well run. Staff is pleasant and efficient. There are plenty of things to do inside and out. Rooms are spacious and clean. Overall highly recommend staying here.

The afternoon tea was very good. The view was amazing and the waitress Julia A. was the absolute best! She was so nice, she refilled our hot water many times, she made great recommendations.it shows that she has more than 10 years of experience at the Fairmont.
