PSW program was great! I enjoyed the theory portion immensely! Instructors gave 100% the whole way through. Materials provided for skills practice at the college set us ahead of other classes.! Take THIS program if looking for a PSW course in Kingston.

The dental assisting program is a excellent program to take at KLC Kingston Campus. I really enjoyed every aspect of the program and the learning environment is exceptional! I like that the theory portion is online now, which makes it easier with scheduling when you have kids. The program coordination Cindy is a excellent teacher and will take her time in teaching you if you don’t understand something at first. Cindy has a excellent knowledge of the dental world and she even helped me secure a placement in Kingston. The campus also has a really nice dental clinic to work in during the hands on portion of the program. I would recommend this program to anyone looking to get into dental.

I took the Pharmacy Technician program at KLC and it was not worth the money spent on it. There is very little support provided to students, and it didn't have the resources to accommodate the 6 students in my class. The only thing that made it bearable was the Pharmacology teacher who actually cared about teaching, and cared about her students.

All the reviews on facebook make this school seem great. Don't fall for it and definitely do not take the Pharmacy Technician course. The program director is an awful person who doesn't care at all about her students unless you're her friend. First 3 months of the program she missed nearly 50 hrs of instruction, many students quit because of her constant absence. She is completely unapproachable and will often tell you 'that's not my problem'. She screwed over a student who found a job while waiting for placement. After being told placement works with your work schedule, she waited until 3 days prior to placement starting to provide the schedule and then said it would look bad on that student if they requested changes. So the student had the choice between graduating and keeping a job. In addition, the program director is banned from KGH hospital pharmacy, what does that say about her and the hiring standards at KLC. This is an awful school that created an awful atmosphere from the beginning. They do not care about their students, only that they get paid. I highly recommend you look elsewhere to receive a proper education. They may seem nice, but as soon as you sign the contract, too bad if you're getting screwed over.
