I have no complaints about the quality of education at Fleming - it's the infrastructure that's a problem.
No matter where you go in the school, you can always be sure of one thing: there WILL be a group of 10+ idiots standing right above, right below, or in the middle of the stairs, blocking the way. This is such a pervasive and huge problem. Moving through the school is a big issue, because there are always people blocking the stairs!
I'm not sure how this problem could be addressed, but it NEEDS to be addressed. Perhaps some basic education is in order - Fleming could create a mandatory course for every student, called "How Not to be a Douche 101." First lesson: don't block the stairs.
The second problem is this. There is simply not enough seating for everyone. The college is IMMENSELY crowded, a situation which reaches its peak at 1pm, where you almost cannot move through the lobby due to the swarms of people. A great number of these people want to sit down for whatever reason and whatever length of time, only there are simply not enough seats.
Recently, Fleming has put empty space to use by placing several tables in an empty area. That's a great step in the right direction, but it's not good enough. There are days when every seating place in the college is full, and there is quite literally not a single place to rest. There is a huge demand and no supply. This is a big issue because many people, like myself, need a seating place to study and do work.
By the way, the comfy leather chairs may be comfortable, but they are absolutely useless for me and many others because they do not come with anywhere to place your books or laptop and study. I would suggest that the useless leather chairs be removed, freeing up useful space to place practical tables.
So there you go - my two big problems with Fleming. There simply aren't enough seats, the leather chairs are useless space-takers, and people are constantly blocking the stairwells without thinking of others. When Fleming addresses and rectifies these problems, I will gladly upgrade my rating to 5 stars.
