Everything is unneccesarily complicated with this university. I have been trying to get my taxes receipt for 2 weeks. They student account is protected like if I was an CIA employee. It's so very frustrating.

Professors: mediocre average rating they are just showing up to the lectures to get there paycheque, show lack of passion to teach students. Rez: Building are kinda old, you can drink so 1 star for that. but is overpriced for what you are paying vs the place you get. if lucky you may have a single bedroom otherwise you will deal with double bedroom. Big gym with indoor pool, lots of hiking trails and snow and intense cold all year around except June July and August Get ready to become Laurentians Beaach

I have taken a few classes at the university of Sudbury and have appreciated its small classroom sizes. The reception is always kind and welcoming and the library is the perfect place to go study.

This place contains the Harquail School of Earth Sciences and the Mineral Exploration Research Centre, for which units I work. Most people are working from home, unless they are doing essential research. It's usually full of dedicated geologists and students, and people working in geoscience fields, along with support staff. The building is so shiny and bright because it's made with stainless steel (contains nickel). This is to reflect the mineral-rich region and its mining heritage.

The campus is really nice but there isn't much that tells you what's actually there. For example, I was not aware that Laurentian had a puppy room until the end of the school year.

This school is very good in some parts but I believe the cons outweigh to positive. My two friends are being put through hell because of this school. The one just finished his major and has just found it is no longer an accepted major so he cannot graduate. The other is being given extra assignments with dates being changed without notice during this crisis. She no longer feels safe as all she can think about is all the work she was assigned. I myself have been treated badly as well as there are barely any wheelchair doors with most doors in the building being to heavy for me to move. I also had to change programs due to the fact that I couldn't get there due to the way the roads are sloped. Not only this but they are letting untrained service animals onto campus which have tried to attack mine when she was working. I believe this school needs better management and needs to listen more to their students instead of using them as a paycheck.

Save your money. Four years wasted at this school, many attempts to transfer but the services and staff were atrocious. Various cuts to programs, seemed great from entering high school, as the years continued my education declined.

Worst school on the face of this planet. Do NOT go here if can help it. You will spend more time dealing with administrative problems and human rights violations than you will studying. They make it next to impossible to enjoy the education you are trying to get, which might I add is lacklustre. The professors are extremely unprofessional and generally don’t care about doing a good job, or helping their students to succeed. The things that you are forced to deal with here are mind blowing. Try to fight for your rights ? Good luck. Laurentian is notorious for finding in favour of their faculty. Not to mention, they are guilty of fraudulently taking money from students with disabilities and illegally using it elsewhere in the school - don’t believe me? See the auditor generals report for yourself .. it’s in there. I could go on about how terrible it is here but I think I’ll leave it here.

Many students from here post job advertisements for wildlife technicians. None of which ever reply or hire and if they do they are very rude and only ever tell you they won't pay you but to volunteer. They are unprofessional and only hire friends. They only post job advertisements because they are required to do so. This is a very unprofessional work ethic.

Had to deal with a number of different departments for the last year. All staff are helpful and had no communication issues. Campus seems to always be under construction but end result is always amazing.

Stay away! They are messaging every person who they have contact information for and scamming them out of money. My friend paid $200 for textbooks and came to pick up when he was told there was no order for him. There was no way of getting a refund and he didnt get any books. Stay away!

Campus is pretty, but it's hard to navigate around. Every time I've visited I've gotten lost but the staff is very helpful and resolved my confusion quickly.

As a teacher I am trying to register for Additional Qualification (AQ) courses. Trying to register is very difficult. Trying to get in contact with someone at the registrar's office is even harder. The course I took was good, and I like the fact that I was able to take it in-class instead of online, like other universities, but the difficulty of picking courses, registering, getting tax forms, getting transcripts or anything to do with administration is so annoying that I would think twice before registering for another in-class AQ course. I would not recommend online courses at all as many other universities have a much easier and user friendly registration processes and many online courses are very similar.

It has magnificent construction.. mind blowing place. It is in one of the top ranking university's. They outskirts very develop and so many lakes or entertainment facility are available. distance between two buildings is very much and all type of facility are available for student or staff like accommodation food facility, place for job. Also energetic morning like bird charming , great scenery mind blowing.

The service is getting awful. I am an alumnus and ordered transcripts online. The system has an issue and charged me three times. I asked for refund from August and they haven't dealt with it until now. It totally pissed me off.

Simply scintillating and location of the university near the Ramsay lake is beautiful. You should give a special thanks for the person who selected the location of the university. I happened to visit the university twice or three times and came to know that many students from other countries are studying there. They have several courses which attracts the international students.

I had a handful of professors and staff that were very helpful and endearing however the bulk of the university lacks empathy, understanding and communication. I urge all who apply to reconsider your decision because my 4 years here was hell on earth

The course content for any of the classes have been comprehensive and anything that is complicated will get addressed by the professors. The teachers in this program are very present and available to support the students. When you are admitted, write to her in charge of schedules, tell her when you want to finish your baccalaureate and how many lessons per session and she will plan an action plan for you. Very easy to follow and a lot of space is available in the classes. You don't have to log in at 11:59 p.m. to reserve our spot in a class. I recommend !!! Lesk professeurs dans ce programme son très présent et disponible pour soutenir les étudiants. A votre admission vous écriver a la responsabke des horaires vous lui indiquez quand vous voulez avour terminé votre bacc et combien de cours par session et elle vous planifie un plan d'action. Très facile à suivre et beaucoup de place sont disponible dans les cours ont n'a pas à ce connecter a 23h59 pour réserver notre place dans un cours. Je recommande !!!

Here you will find a family run operation that includes mini-put, driving range, par 3 gorgeous Featherwind Golf course and my personal favourite…the BATTUNG CAGES!!! The cages include both slow pitch and fast pitch…the fast pitch includes 40mph, 60mph and a reduced from 80mph to 70mph!:( Loved the 80mph but you better not be a left bat that is a Strong PULL HITTER or you might hit the homes and highway that lead to this breathtaking property! The trees have grown immensely since I last hit here in July 2009…so the cages are OPEN AIR!!!:))) The only thing missing is a high speed Indy style race track on this property and this will get the TRUE NORTH TRIPLE TRIPLE DIAMOND raring I just made up as if anyone wanting these kinds of race car go carts look to Google in Myrtle Beach and you find An Indy 500 worthy training ground, complete with the opportunity to do a victory spin out on the grass…Just don’t let Frank, Mario(Dennis Eckersly Canadian twin, seriously right down to the mustache!!!). If the family see’s what I mean this off season on their annual snowbirds vacation they will HOPEFULLY agree that those miniature Indy race carts a must have with future Barrie Speedway dreamers just itching to teatdrive something Danica Patrick has raced PROFESSIONALLY…I implore EVERYONE to check out their website on Google and get there before they close down for the season and PROMOTE the race cars for an irrestible push to push Duffer's right over the Canadian SHIELD. Came to Fraser Auditorium to hear some local choirs sing . Although the entertainment was good the auditorium is old hot and cramped. Sitting in the narrow chairs with no leg room for anybody over 5' 9' was very uncomfortable. There is no air circulation and the lighting and close proximity to the person(s) next to you make it very hot and stuffy.

So many great trails spread over a large portion of Sudbury. Many different skill levels as well as multiple parking locations depending on which trails you plan on hiking.There's even doggy bags to pick up after your furry friends along parts of the trails.

I don't know what the studies at this place are like but they sure don't have the time/professionalism to reply to people requesting information. I sent emails to Some of the best Universities in the world, ones you cant even compare to this in sudbury. I got next day replies from Switzerland, Sweden, Germany thanking me for my interest first and this tiny $%#@ in sudbury had no time to reply n its been 2 weeks... Way to go Laurentian, keep it up and one day people in north bay wont know who u are... Improve your service if you ever wanna have better reputation than a corner store.
