My two boy went there...great university.they got a great education. One of my sons is a doctor now!! You will get an excellent education there. You have to earn your grades, however..not a pass/fail like Brown.

We make the 2+ hour drive when our dogs need more than basic care. They have the specialties available for your pet to have the best chance of diagnosis and recovery. Our one dog had a full recovery from slipped disc surgery and this week the Cornell emergency doctor was able to diagnose our shih tzu mix. Our local vets and hospitals just dont have the equipment or access to as many specialists. Cornell cost is comparable to local vets and is actually less expensive than our local vet emergency rooms. We 100% recomend Cornell, their doctors and students. The student who was assigned to our dog during his stay was knowledgeable and kept us I formed through the process. Very comforting.

I can't pretend to an unbiased review, as Cornell is my alma mater, but I am happy to say that, even in the midst of this COVID crisis, it remains as beautiful as ever far above Cayuga's waters. We got here on an atypically-beautiful November weekend, taking my daughter to look at the school. She was wowed by the surroundings, but I told her not to get too comfortable with the weather.

A beautiful campus! Both modern and classic buildings.. I liked how the colleges were grouped by quads. The students appeared to be happy. There were a lot of students running and jogging, great to see! I saw the campus police patrolling, that made me feel it was safe. Collegetown (CTB) Bagels ran efficiently. The public parking behind CTB was reasonably priced. We visited the gardens, very nice. There was so much more to see, I'll just have to see it next time ????. The drive from Long Island was as expected (4 hrs). I didn't make a stop. I wasn't prepared for the change in the elevation (ears popping)..manageable. At the end of the day, my daughter loved it....and that was the most important.

Upon bringing my crested gecko here I had no idea what was wrong, I had called around 37 other vet hospitals and no one could take her either due to her size or the fact they had never taken in such a small reptil on such short notice. The staff at cornell however despite how insane the world is right now took her in via the emergency clinic and helped us both out a lot! I have a follow up visit soon and I have the upmost confidence that she will be in great hands.

The campus is enormous and beautiful, there's literally a 40,000 acre forest within the school, a farm and hospital for the vet majors, literally a designated section for each major. The students and staff give off a really sophisticated but friendly vibe. The campus is pretty diverse, though a large portion is Asians and white. They also have their own art museum and natural history museum free to the public. There's 5 gyms on campus too.

We went for a visit because our daughter is considering Cornell. It is an absolutely beautiful campus. It's not easy to get to from eastern NY and I would worry about the drive in the winter, but that would be worth it for top notch education.

This campus is an absolute treasure. We walked for hours just around the buildings. The arquitecture is very impressive and varied. The sunset views are amazing on the side of the hill. Make sure you have at least 3 or 4 hours to walk the whole campus down.

Ithaca is beautiful and Cornell's architecture is marvellous! The mesmerizing waterfalls, the pretty Fall and the my favourite- snow in and around campus are main attractions. The campus is clean, well connected by TCAT buses and almost every part is wheelchair accessible and has braille. It's an amazing place to be in!

As a student at Cornell University I found the weather is positively Ithacating obscuring the extraordinary views of jagged cliffs and gorges with waterfalls covering one of the most beautiful Ivy League campuses and scenic areas in the world. To see a rainbow is to see a miracle. Ithaca is absolutely gorgeous. The professors downgrade and most of the courses are challenging especially in engineering computers and architecture. As an example in the school of art architecture and planning only 5 people graduated out of a class of 20. I had a great time filming the Cornell Columbia football games including the traditional parade down Fifth Avenue in New York City from Columbia to The Cornell Club New York. Cornell gave me a fabulous camera to use for the march down Fifth Avenue and the after dinner at the Cornell Club New York. Go Big Red ;-))

Cornell is also well known for its top-ranked College of Veterinary Medicine and the highly esteemed School of Hotel Administration. One of Cornell's oldest traditions is Dragon Day, during which a dragon built by first-year architecture students is paraded through campus.

Cornell is a beautiful campus and though it's cold in the winter, has a lot of resources for its students. A business school and hospitality school combined with the general education provide a diverse student body, and buses to the city for the students if they need to travel there.

The people and students in towns surrounding Cornell university all wearing mask. I was amazed that even while walking alone the mask remained. Watched a girl jogging by and she popped hers on the minute she was in range of anyone. Way to go Ithaca. Only 4 stars because the potholes were ridiculous. Ouch!

A beautiful, prestigious university campus with quite a bit of history and recognition. It's a great place to walk around or accessible for quickly driving through as well. The campus has museums as well as outdoor features like the Libe Slope Overlook or the suspension bridge. Very pretty, especially in fall.

We're not students or alumna, just regular visitors with a mild fascination of the Ivies. This was actually the last that we visited, owing to its distance from our city. It took a one-week trip to the Finger Lakes for us to finally visit all the Ivies! The main campus features the usual mix of colonial-style and modern buildings, but what sets it apart is the stunning nature views that it offers, given its higher elevation. The view of Cayuga Lake was especially lovely. We parked for two hours at the university art museum (Herbert Johnson Museum of Art), our first stop. The views from the upper museum floors are equally stunning! We then walked toward McGraw Tower and stopped at the beautiful Uris Library before heading back to get our car and find another spot. We found one by the Martin Tang Visitor Center (using the Parkmobile app) and parked there longer so we can resume our walking tour. We walked around some more, grabbed lunch and souvenirs at the University Store, and ended our visit at the Cornell Botanic Gardens. Lots of walking but totally worth it! Oh and the Visitor Center has an outdoor deck with gorgeous views of Triphammer Falls! Be sure not to miss that. So yeah, go visit if you get a chance. You can easily spend an entire day here if you have that much time.

Very pretty campus. The waterfalls and nature trails are beautiful, and the air is very clean. The university itself is very nice--it has its problems, but most of the professors are great, and there is a huge array of interesting courses. The phys ed courses are some of the most interesting ones--I took sailing first semester. It gets very cold in the winter, but it's manageable. And finally, the campus is very walkable--I can walk between classes pretty easily, and in emergencies, you can always take the buses that are constantly driving around.
