This campus is really nice, and there are a ton of areas you can find to study quietly or with a group. You can book rooms online for this specific purpose. Since this SFU campus is in the same building as a mall, there are plenty of food options.

Much much cleaner than Burnaby campus, however it's often hard to find a spot to sit/study other than the library. Also, the 3 hour parking limit has become a lot more strict since covid. The underground parking garage for central city mall is closed unless you have a staff pass to enter. The campus is closed to public and only staff, faculty, and students are allowed to enter with ID.

I owe my degree to the SFU Surrey campus. Studying at SFU is the best experience I could ask for. I don't even attend this university, but coming here to study for exams is the best. The background noise accompanied by the shops downstairs makes this the ideal place to spend 12+ hours studying. I could never study like this at my own university. Time flies, and there are endless spaces to study. It is exceptional. I recommend all universities take on an open concept building style with a mall underneath. 11/10!

New building, very modern. good place to study, it is quiet! Staffs are friendly, and it is close to shopping malls, very convenient locations

a combination of work/school and shopping! Their architecture is worth to take a look at and its bright and spacious to help you focus on those bleak assignments! Has 2 libraries and a cool 3D printer at doc solutions if you're curious to see what's cooking! Dave always has something up in the machine.

Graduated long ago when the mall used to be called "Surrey Place Mall" and the school called "Technical University of British Columbia" AKA TechBC. Nice to see this campus grow into what it is today.

Location-wise, its a great campus as it is right there next to a skytrain station. It also has a small shopping mall on the bottom floor, and a food court.
