The hum of construction all semester definitely helped out my studies! I also enjoy everyone that smokes right next to the doorways everyday. Always at least 1 m6, Bentley and Maserati with an N in the student lots daily!

If you are looking for the newest and greatest super cars and don't want to travel to UBC come check out Kwantlen Richmond. The parking lot is littered with customized G wagons and a variety of other super cars. The campus is currently being renovated and improved but I would still like to see them keep their Tim Hortons and book store open later. If you have a 7pm class the bookstore is closed well before. The campus is super easy to get to and is overall not too bad but it really lacks the University vibe that makes you feel connected to your school.

Went here for my covid vaccine. Super organized, friendly staff and the whole process went very quickly. Everthing is sanitized between clients. 30 minutes in and out and that included the 15 minutes self monitoring after the vaccine.

Some of my teachers don't know how job experience works, one of them said at the end of every shift, you clock out ON TIME. I told him in the places that I've worked in, we clock out 3-5 minutes earlier, he said he doesn't care and that I must clock out on time, lol that doesn't stop me from clocking out early at my actual workplace. What a joke, now I'm just trying to avoid him as much as possible cause I don't want to hear the bs. But the rest of the people are nice, its just that the teacher took away the 2 stars from my vote. And he's randomly saying my workplace is a bad exampleof a workplace. Well we have to get everyone out before the next scheduled time (I work 3 pm - 11 pm), so we have to get the afternoon shift people out before the next shift starts and there's at least 15 to 30 people on each shift, and we stop working 20 minutes earlier. Plus, the people from the next shift is also clocking in 5 minutes before so it becomes crowded at times.

My wife was going to start at VCC but needed to do some pre-reqs. As KPU had a campus at Richmond near hour home, we decided to ask them if they can offer the same courses for my wife so she does not have to commute 2 hours each day to take her courses. They asked her to register online without clear instructions, whether or not her previous credits/documents would qualify or not. After registering, they asked us to visit the Surrey campus to check her previous certificates and transcripts. I had to take a day off to do this and we had kids with us as well. After getting to the Surrey campus they notified us that she needed her original documents mailed in and the ICES (credential evaluation from BCIT) ones we had would not work. That is fair statement but why make us go through all that hassle to just say that? Why make us register online and pay 40 bucks to start off with? This tells me the procedures in place are aimed at making money and not really help the students. Cya.

I Don’t Highly Recommend The Access Program With Disability’s I use to got that program & before COVID hit the teachers who work there don’t tell their students what’s going on bye Email & Phone Call & they totally ran away who everyone in my class money in the beginning I was at a Work Experience At Cora they treated very poorly as a DishWasher & I had a Fight With Wearing No Slip Shoes & the people who work there I was there for 4 weeks in March &I was followed bye the people who work there & that’s it had enough & sew my class was cancelled in April

Terrible experience with the registrar. No personable contact, they treat you as a mere student number. They stole my money directly from student loan services. Don't waste your time here. Schools like JIBC, Douglas College and SFU are far better in every way and treat you with respect.

Don’t know where to start:(. If u read reviews, most of the high rates are because of the location and campus of KPU. No one talking about KPU’s instructors or their way of teaching. Go check KPU on Rate my professor to see how students’ are feeling about it.

I graduated in 2018 with an accounting diploma and landed an accounting clerk job 2 months after classes ended. The education prepared me for the job. Flash forward to 2021, I've been promoted to a staff accounting job after gaining experience with their software, tax procedures, and accounting procedures like receivables/payables/payroll etc. I feel like if I got the bachelors I would've moved up to a higher position within that same time as companies want people that are CPA eligible for senior and management roles. Currently, I'm satisfied with my job and may pursue the bachelors in the future.

The #4 university in BC in terms of enrollment and performance standards. Nothing really too great or terrible outside of the administration and a couple of creeps lurking about the campus; but what university isn't complete with a few of those? Come here to graduate as quickly as you can. Stay for the ambiguous security threats.

Will agree with some people, not all the instructors are the best. For the most part, I've had great experience with all my profs. Some of them are very inspirational and make learning fun. For those who don't know, KPU has 5 campuses and yes they are small...each campus has their own little programs (ex. Cloverdale is the tech school, Langley has music and nursing...) I personally love how KPU offers many programs and each program is created to get students to be hands-on. Some of the reviews I see (especially the lower ratings) are from those who don't know much about the school, in other words aren't the ones spending time using all the FREE resources and services offered to students nor thinking outside the box for the reasons why some teachers do the things they do. (hint: read the policy). Will agree, everytime I talk to strangers who don't know much about KPU, they always bring up the rumours... Eventhough all those rumours apply to other institutions. Rumours about international students, limite for intakes had been reduced the past year for them and in reality they don't necessarily affect your education. Like if they do, it's your responsibility to step out and report the issues. Rumours of easy graduating...some profs are easy markers and some are strict. I wouldn't say it's easy to graduate, especially graduating with a 4.0gpa KPU is an amazing school, some of the programs here are way better than other institutions (so I'm not saying we are the best school, just that we offer many amazing programs that will give you the experience other schools don't). I've talked to some who transfered out to go to SFU and UBC, they all miss KPU but ofc each school has their pros and cons (all great schools). PS, KPU is still growing and improving so much has changed.

Love the school. I also find it fascinating that many of the 1 star/bad reviews are done by people with 1-3 reviews. In many cases the review of Kwantlen is their only one. Almost like the accounts are created solely for the purpose of giving Kwantlen a bad rating.

Worst school on earth every teacher and advisor are more clueless than the next they are rude and don't care for their students teachers have no sympathy and I'd never come back as a student at this school even if you paid my tuition DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU WANT TO KEEP YOUR SANITY AND A GOOD GPA ????
