Just speaking of the campus itself: A wonderful place, but it's only pretty during the summer with all the flowers. During the school season, they usually plot of over all the plants after 1 week and then setup orange barricades for all the construction they will be doing.

First visit was summer 1975, on my way to the Churchill River with trusty dog Brujo 1 and sweet Cathy Jo..we made it to Devils Lake and camped on the river and befriended local Athabaskan folks as well as a couple from Saskatoon.. Jack and Judy Shaw. Lost track of all 3 along the way, but wonder dog Brujo stayed with me until 1989, a 16 year run. Miss them all...

Attended post-secondary education here a few years ago. The campus is beautiful at anytime throughout the year but especially spring fall. Outside of Thorvaldson with the fall leaves makes for picturesque scenery. The Engineering building is a hidden gem and you can usually find quite places to study upstairs.

The Health Sciences building E is a little confusing, plus it doesn't have a washroom. Plus a storage room has windows while some actual rooms don't. The pay parking had an issue with paying by credit card yet they don't answer their phone and the university parking was, at least for this, clueless.

This is one of the most spectacular university campus in the country. Next to the South Saskatchewan River this university spreads across acres of land. It has an amazing architecture that makes it look timeless. The campus has so many benches, small gardens and can be accessed by anyone via college drive or via Meewasin Trail. It does separate buildings for difference courses such as agriculture, medical sciences, arts and many more !!

This institution is treading very closely to violating the Charter of Rights and Freedoms. Barring any person without a covid vaccine from attending class and receiving higher education is borderline criminal and a disgrace. The community should be ashamed of this policy. There needs to be accountability for this crime taking place before our eyes.

Putting all the stress of studying and University aside, the U of S is really nice. Most people you run into here are really laid back and nice! The campus itself is gorgeous in the summer and fall seasons. Wish there was more variety in terms of places to eat, the few restaurants they have in Place Riel get old after a short amount of time. Also wished there were more places to study, most places you go to are full during normal class hours. Parking too is an absolute nightmare if you don't have a parking pass. This however, does not take away from everything else that makes Usask great!

Student advisors are horrendous and will actively confuse you and give you misinformation. Likely the same experience in other universities but terrible atmosphere for LGBT students and consistently mediocre lectures read direct from a textbook. Have been in two colleges, both the same experience. Go to trade school.

currently I am staying at the university and let me just the lamps in the rooms are phenomenal you can move them anywhere and they stretch out very far and I quite enjoy them 10/10 also the breakfast is good.

I was harassed at my home by Cyril Coupa and Juxin Liu. I had to file a police report against them because I was being harassed by the computer science department who stole my wallet as well to get me to retaliate. The professor's in the CS department told girls to try and turn me on so they could make me depressed as a justification for a professor(Michael Horshe) who failed me in cs111 because he was envious of my confidence and intelligence. I filed a police report against the school and was physically assaulted by a janitor who was fired as a result. The university sent a student from the sheaf and a grown man to my home in another country to try and scare me into not suing them. Teachers threatened Asian exchange students who helped me overcome this harassment and vile behavior I received while a student at this disturbing university. They ruined my transcript with biased grades and laughed at me when I questioned them. I was in contact with the president of the university and have filed a lawsuit against them. The professor's at the University of Sasktchewan abuse students emotionally and use woman's bodies to get what they want. I'm ashamed to have gone here. The president of this university even visited me in a class as a gesture of apology but the computer science and math department professors(Juxin Lou, Cyril Coupal, Micheal Horshe, and even the dean of the math department) continued to harass me. I feel sorry for the president of the U of S, his employees betrayed him. I was physically assaulted by the dean of the math department who was covering for his racist professors(Juxin Liu) inaccurate grades. DO NOT GO HERE. If you meet a teacher record the interaction. Trust me.

Very beautiful campus - lots of trees, paths, and very architecturally beautiful buildings. I have had very good experiences with all the classes I have taken - professors are qualified and for the most part care about your education. People are pretty friendly and welcoming to everyone. The biggest downfall is the lack of parking and parking prices. You can pay for a pass, but it is expensive and typically still a 5-10 minute walk or more. Pay parking lots are too expensive for the average student. Our bus system is such a fail that driving and paying for parking is often necessary. The arts parking lot is probably the best (lots of spots and not too cramped) but it often fills up. Admissions applications into the various colleges can be a little vague (can't easily make changes) so filling out the application with a counselor is ideal.

My only complaint is that parking is horrible at the u of s. I get that it's to make people ride the bus more and cut down on traffic but for some people like myself it is a real hassle trying to get to class and exams

This university silences free speech and academic freedom. One should be aware of their abusive ways to silence critics and/or professors who speak out against their policies. Example: They fire a tenured professor and director of Health because he wrote a simple letter. DO NOT GO HERE.

Ok, so I have never been to this college, but my friend had applied for a PhD program. Communication was poor. Even after sending all the required documents, they never update the application profile. All emails and phone calls went unanswered. All they needed to do was just communicate whether accepted or rejected. Huge disappointment...huge!

Parking service on campus are horrible if you are out of province. If you get two tickets they put a boot on your car and extort large sums of money from you. They make it impossible to challenge anything in court. The administration is a totalitarian dictatorship. Well the few hundred dollars they were able to extort from me for two parking tickets as a student has cost them thousands I would donate as a graduate. I will never donate a single dollar to the U of S because of parking services.

Great experience. Every University has issues but overall, very much enjoying the graduate program! Profs are largely helpful, some going about and beyond what I would consider to be expected. FYI, yes, parking is tough-if you use transit or allow for extra time, you're _usually_ okay. Parking is typically difficult at most Canadian Universities located in a city.

This is how the University adjusts tuition due to Covid because there is no classes or labs. They tell the students to do it online, and due to inconvenience of this, refund the student $18! An $18 tuition correction? OMFG! The administration better have a better look at this.
