Apply York for September 2018 got refused because high school math. Got my high school credits for the requirements and apply again for 2019 winter they told me admission had been close. Went in to the office asked for any possibility the guy said not and put me on May 2019 and call in today to check the status and the person told me thing is changed have to re apply and fall and may admission had been full I love York

Although there is a long wait time on the phone, once you get a hold of someone it's great. The people at the admissions office have a wealth of information and are very patient in answering any of your questions and concerns.

I had spent more time talking to a machine than I did talking to an actual person. Honestly, I preferred the machine. The person on the other end just had this lashing/condescending tone in her voice. As if I was supposed to already know the answers to the questions I had. While I technically got my answer, after that I was told to Google the address of the admissions building when talking to someone who clearly worked from within the building. Yikes. 2 Stars because technically I got my answer, and -3 stars because I got a lot of nothing too.

TIME WASTER. I first mistaken the university number for the admission one so then I have began calling this number but they always tell me they will transfer me to the Admissions office not once or twice, ALL THE TIME like this is not even the admission contact number! so you have to wait for someone like an hour to answer the call then you have to wait another 30 mins to get you to the admissions office. But look you have to pray they don’t hang up during your wait because that’s what they always Do. I been trying to call them because it’s been more than week they haven’t answered my emails. Just fire the employees already.

I called them today and even though there are many bad reviews here regarding them picking up really late, they answered me real quick. The person helping me was Robert and he was very helpful and made me feel much better about my application. Overall I was very happy with this service and I appreciate you! Thank you!!

Does not even deserve 1 star. Had to give it in order to post the review. Have been trying to call since last 2 hours. They say the wait time is less than 10 min and then hang up the call. The worst service ever!

I have called ten times in the past 3 weeks and I have either waited on hold for 40 minutes, or I have been hung up on after 20 minutes. I want to attend York University, but I can't get my questions answered.

There's a lot of bad reviews. I had a bad experience with the first person I spoke with on the phone. Then I called back like an hour later and spoke with a really helpful and nice woman. Since then, I have called and talked to a variety people, your experience just relies on who you speak with unfortunately.
