So basically it was good information wise and some staff were really nice. But when I ran into issues I basically got thrown out. I had an internship which don't get me wrong I loved where I went but it got me no where. I have been applying to places since half way through my class and now I got a diploma and have to be on welfare

Two months into my program and I am really enjoying it! All staff and instructors are really great and happy to help. Remote learning is different but you'll get used to it!

I would like to recommend Trios College for everyone because they have excellent instructors, good and supportive staffs, nice and positive atmosphere. I attended Trios College from 2015 to 2016 taking Business Administration course, all staffs was very helpful and kind. Thanks Trios College to help me find my light on the way i was lost after layoff. I'm working now in my roll what i finished.

Missed a few days due to family emergency and I got a little behind and had no idea what we were learning due to my absence, after asking my teacher for extra help I found him being kind of rude and getting angry at me because as he stated asking for extra help can be selfish because he his now “distracted” so then I had scheduled a meeting with the same people who encouraged me to enrol, looking for help or at least an answer as to my next step or what support was available and Nashina basically told me to focus hard for the next few weeks and hopefully by then they might be able to speak with the school director to come up with a plan. Fast forward a few weeks now and they have done absolutely nothing to help me have not even reached out once they ignore my calls and refuse to answer my emails and it’s forcing me to have to drop out of my program. I don’t know what else to do here. Please if you are nervous about school do not just sign up anywhere you need proper support and to ensure the staff will actually help you out and not just try and collect your tuition.

I have contemplated for quite some time how to review this school... I give it two stars solely based on the fact that there are some really good teachers there. I will say this- DON’T GO HERE.

Joseph Trachy

Took their payroll accounting course, had to give them a letter from my doctor stating that I do the last 2 months of my online unit from home due to medical reasons and the campus director refused even though proof was shown. This school is NOT worth the grief the campus director puts people through. They screwed me out of my career.

I recently finished my two years program as an IT professional at triOS Kitchener campus. Jason Eckert is the best instructor you can ever have. His teaching skill is phenomenal. Leslie Huys was my employment specialist and she is super nice and love to help me without hesitation, whenever I asked her for help. Also special thanks to Margaret Millner, for being super nice. I can't thank you enough. I made the right decision by choosing triOS Kitchener campus and I strongly recommend anyone looking for best college the region.

I can't speak for other programs at this school but for the love of god don't come here for Massage Therapy. I had to transfer from a school that closed and decided to come here. It's been nothing but hell. I constantly get belittled for my previous school yet also told not to compare schools any time I bring up how my past curriculum taught things more in depth. I'm being forced to retake and repay for 3 out of 4 classes i've already passed and have proof of on my transcript because Trios says "our curriculum is different" which is quite literally impossible because the official CMTO gives the same curriculum to every school in Ontario and it must be followed by every school because after graduating, a CMTO exam separate from your school takes place. and everyone from every school takes the same one. I have to pay for a new uniform because they won't let me wear my old one that I also had to pay for. I constantly get told "your not a student from that school anymore your a Trios student now" whenever I have problems or questions pertaining to how things are run so differently and arise confusion. Unlike my previous school, Trios lets their students start clinic before even completing the full lower extremity of the body in anatomy class. This is a major problem for anyone coming to the student clinic expecting students to already have the proper knowledge if they're treating them. Not to mention I have exactly one teacher teaching every single class in the program with no helper or anything. My teacher also works and is unavailable to answer questions unless in class which is largely problematic due to so much being online these days and making it all the more difficult to understand. You basically end up teaching yourself but your paying full price for a program that doesn't even give you the necessary tools you need to progress. I also reluctantly recommended this school to a friend of mine who got in for her program. According to the schools website, every-time you recommend someone who ends up getting accepted and attending the school you are supposed to get a reward of 100 dollars. It's been months and I have received nothing. When asking questions about snow days or lockdown measures the school staff simply tell you to look at your school manual instead of answering your questions and nobody. absolutely nobody is there to help you. It's quite frustrating how the school claims to care about it's students and their health and safety when none of the staff actually come in to the school at all and continue working from home as well. If you think you can sit down for a meeting with anyone you'd be mistaken. All I want to do is transfer but Trios for some reason doesn't even work by semesters. so you have no way of knowing how far along you are and when you can transfer to a new school because everywhere else has terms and wants to know what term your in.. when trios doesn't even have terms. The entire system at this school is utterly flawed and I would never recommend it to anyone. At least not for my program.

I have not attended triOs College or worked there; however, this is a reflection on my visits to write exams and meeting with one of their academic advisor who wanted to talk to me about one their certificate when I was considering post graduate studies in the past. The campus is clean, and the staff are organized, friendly, and helpful. Their test center is good, and I am not sure if they run it on Saturday. This would be great for those who work until late during the week.

Enjoyed my experience here at triOS. I am grateful to of had an instructor like Sarah in the CSW program. The campus is small as they are inside the mall.

Bad experience and waste of time I studied pharmacy assistant and paid $1000 for this program in the time you don't need a diploma to be a pharmacy assistant any one can apply for the pharmacy assistant with out diploma ???? Feeling so bad ???? ???? Don't attend any program before you make sure it's the right one and if you need a diploma or not I wish I can go back in time I will never do it again ????

Excellent instructor, good curriculum and half days. The time went fast and I enjoyed every minute of it.

In May of 2018 I embarked on a new journey by enrolling in the Law Clerk Specialist program at triOS. It has been an amazing experience watching myself grow academically, as well as personally. I cannot express my gratitude to the amazing staff and instructors! This course is tough, but with the bond you will make with this amazing team, you will learn you can accomplish anything. I have overcome so much and am happy to have helped as a Student Ambassador by volunteering at career fairs and other social events on campus. I look forward to my internship to gain experience within a legal office setting and I look forward to promoting this educational facility to everyone I meet in my future travels. Five stars across the board for the experience I have had here!

Brandon

The school costed too much for the information provided. Had a lot of internal issues regarding staff when I was there. Very friendly support. You put into it what you want to get out of it meaning if you just play games all day and barely work on projects you will come out with basically nothing. Internship is good as long as you get a decent place. It teaches you just about game development and some sketchy art stuff should focus on software engineering principles a bit more as they are important for all programming. Overall the schooling was alright and mainly just went to get the paper to get your foot into the door at places.

Michele Mallen

Three strikes - you're out! On three separate occasions I hired three different "Honour" grads from their bookkeeping/payroll courses and all three didn't make it past their probation period. None of them had a clue what to do with files.

Lora Alsayed

Such a bad experience in this college don't attend this college because it's such a waste of time and money ????

It was not easy for me to become a social worker in Canada without the great education from Trios College. I have graduated from CSW Program and started my career as a Direct support professional at Parents for Community Living, currently working as a full-time life skill worker for people with mental health and addiction. There is no doubt of the circullam of trios, which gives you complete experience working with a child to the elderly. Opportunities are endless If you are serious about learning. So don't be late to change your career

Currently a student in the VGDD+ course. Started out as someone who lacked confidence in all aspects of anything math related. However, my supportive classmates, instructor and family helped me through the initial struggle, and I can proudly say I actually understand the abstract concepts and mathematic principles we use in coding. I can't wait to see what the rest of the course holds.

Student at trioscollege in Kitchener Ontario, Teaching our class is Steven Coverdale. As a student that just moved from Nova Scotia and mumbles a lot while talking so I am very hard to hear, I was very nervous of that Steven has been amazing at helping me speak up so I am a lot easier to hear , I was always scared getting infront of the class now I can without being nervous, Also when I was having issues at home and had to miss class also while in class was having a hard time steven made sure to sit with me and explain the work and helped me get caught up with my work so I can get to my goals in life, Steven is by far the best teacher I ever had , Hes amazing!!!

Student Success strategies course . I am so happy to have opportunity to take this course at trios . I have been out of school for many years and this experience really help me to get going. Our instructor Steven Coverdale was just simple the best. Very understanding, patient and smart. All our calss was very happy with his performance Well Done Stevan keep doing a great job.

Although it was a positive experience there are things I believe need improvement. I took the MOA program. I felt the spent more time teaching administration ie. Accounting, word, PowerPoint etc and not enough time on scheduling, and actual medical procedures. Many places hiring want terminology certificates which would definitely help when looking for work. I was not successful in finding work in the medical office field however, I am currently training as a HSW. Therefore some of what I learned I have benefitted from. The instructors are awesome aside from one particular instructor who does accounting and office. The instructor who is responsible for teaching the medical side of the course is awesome.

triOS College was a great way to get my career on track. The teachers are very knowledgeable and will help you “get it” if you’re struggling. I graduated with Honours and landed myself an internship, who wanted to keep me after it was over. I am now the Assistant Manager of Majic Dragon smoke and vape shop and still learning more everyday. If it wasn’t for triOS I wouldn’t have found the best career I could have ever ask for ???? Thank you Tiffany Proulx PS- I enjoyed my experience so much I sent my husband to kickstart a career for himself, he is now enrolled ????

I am taking IT program at trios college Kitchener campus they have two IT teachers one teaches the beginners end and the other one (Jason E) who teaches the advanced end of IT he is the best teacher ever but biggest problem is they deliver so much material that cant be properly practiced in given time frame

Steven Coverdale, thank you very much for your support and inspiration. The one-week course was very informative and I learned so much. You made the material easy to remember. I really appreciate your continuing help. You are awesome

I really enjoyed my experience at Trios College. The entire experience was wonderful. I didn't know what I was getting into after going back to school nearly 30 years after graduating from college. I found an extremely welcoming environment. Everybody was very friendly and I learned so much. The eight months flew by and now I have a new career. I'm excited to start my new job. Thank you Trios College!

The receptionists at Trios were both friendly and efficient. Thanks for a great experience !

Trios College is the best place to get post secondary education.

I took police foundations here and the program is phenomenal. The instructor is amazing and very knowledgeable with many years of experience as a police officer. He goes above and beyond to educate and share his knowledge with his students on a career in policing (and related careers.) You do many hands on things in class, scenarios, field trips, guest speakers from policing, corrections, security, and high up departments in law enforcement. The instructor is always working hard to find and create new and exciting things to do in class to help get you ready for the career that you want. You get a diploma, in police foundations, CPR first aid, restricted and non restricted firearms license, security course, and many other things from this program. The education gained from this course is extremely useful and it doesn't take long for you to form amazing friendships with other students in the class and become a strong team participating in volunteering and community work in and outside of school. The staff here are very kind, understanding, and always willing to help when needed. They have someone who helps with all of the financing and osap applications so it's very easy to get enrolled without being stressed out over paper work. I would definitely recommend this school and especially the police foundations program it surpasses what I had expected and is only a year program compared to others that are usually two.

I am a current student in the 'Video Game Development and Design' Course. The Course is Engaging and the Teacher(Steven Coverdale) is Fun and Helpful. Steven caters to your passion outside of game design as well. I have a personal interest in Augmented Reality and 3d Printing technologies, Steve helps with the what the course brings and beyond. If you are interested in learning Video Game Development/Web Development/ Technology this is the course for you!

I've only been in school for three weeks but my Instructor/Teacher Steven Coverdale has made my experience amazing and and all around enjoyable to be in class! There is a very few people that can actually ingage a class and not have them complain and or want to leave. It has been one of my best experiences in a school atmosphere have him as my Instructor/Teacher and I think all my classmates would agree with me!

I've started classes at triOS remotely and I can't express how statisfied I am. My instructor Steven Coverdale has been nothing but wonderful. His teaching method is great! His delivery of the course material is simplified and so easy to follow. He also has a great persona!! Thanks for making my first week so easy :) I highly recommend triOS to anyone who is considering. Staff are wonderful and guide you through the entire process. So much support for anyone new to the process. Thanks triOS!

I did a law program for second career in triOS College at Kitchener campus. I started with a simple intention to have just a try, but it turned out to be great experience. Our location is humble, but it houses great programs and great teachers. The program helps me move my life forward. I am grateful to our teachers, and am grateful for the program our teachers teach!

Jeff Oldfield

In the Video Game Design and Development course, I am learning the content very quickly and easily, it has been a great experience so far.

I recently graduated from the kitchener Trios campus. My experience here was horrible to say the least. I would never recommend this to anyone. I made complaints about the teachers, being over charged and attendance discrepancies to the Director. She was dismissive and constantly made me feel like I was in the wrong. She would also ignore my emails and then tell me she never received them, when they were clearly in my sent mail. You can tell they are all about the money because you are always pushed to refer and take a longer program. Some of the teachers were very degrading and do not seem qualified. I also was switched to classes 1-5 when I need to work during those hours, and when I told them they made no other arrangements to make classes for the morning. With the amount of money I was paying they should be able to offer classes to suit our needs.

Students beware - This is a for profit school

Kyla Hansford

I love triOS however there is a reason behind 4/5 stars. I had the privilege of having a fantastic professor who cared deeply about her class and making sure everyone understood what she was teaching. She also was tuned into every single students behaviours and knew when something was off and would help that student through what ever. She was outstanding. I give 4/5 stars due to the lack of communication between staff to staff and staff to student. There are a few other reasons but nothing major. If you are looking for a college to get an education, build friendships, and create a family-type network...then this is the place for you.

Naa Laryea

The commencement and completion of my studies in SUPPLY CHAIN AND LOGISTICS with Trios College was an exciting educational experience for me. My Employment Specialist (Leslie Huys) was so patient and understanding. Even after my first internship placement fell through, she found me a prompt replacement, ensuring that I complete my required hours on time. Thanks Leslie :)

Great school! Great students, especially girls from my class! Good professors and other stuff too. Thank You for accepting me and giving me a diploma. Thank you girls for being good to me and helping me graduate. I recommend this school.

I gave a 1, because could not give a 0. All this school wants is your money, they don't care about your health or that of your family. My daughter is doing the PSW course. She is told that she has to go into covid nursing homes to do the co-op. They say if you don't go now and put off till a later date you will loose your funding. So question is do you chance your families health. Other colleges are NOT doing the placement at homes. After talking to the "executive" no change. One of my daughters fellow students has now dropped out of the coarse because of this. That being, being forced into a covid area. After talking to the people in the offices, they can not or will not give her a course outline. Nor will the financial part of the college give her an update to the financial status, till she drops out of the college or graduates. This is a very stressful situation that is causing her family. Calls have been made to Doug Fords office, labour Canada, our health units, Mpp, etc. Will update.

I just completed the Community Services Worker program. The instructors were amazing, very supportive and knowledgeable. I learned a lot about the social services field and myself too.

I cannot express my gratitude to the amazing staff and instructors, this course is hard, you will learn you can accomplish anything. I have overcome so much and am happy to have helped as a Student Ambassador by volunteering at career fairs and other social events on campus. I'm going to graduate soon, and I cannot wait for what comes next.

This school is a rip off. They sent me to a grocerie store my internship and I stocked shelves and ran a cash register for two months in the middle of COVID - I told them I learned nothing there and I should be compensated as they left me serving costumers alone and did not teach me anything. I paid 16,000 to serve costumers in a grocery store!!! They take your money and shoot you away. If anyone has a similar experience - I think we should all take further action!!

I attended Trios Kitchener Campus for the 2017-2018 term, and Graduate April 6th! I am currently half-way through my internship and just wanted to take a moment to give some honest feedback about this faculty and its staff! I lost my job back in January of 2017 and needed to upgrade my education for better employment (self employment!) and decided to take on the Honours Business Administration program. Let me just start by saying, these programs are intense! You must be motivated, and determined in order to succeed. However, the staff are ALL so incredibly supportive and it is collectively their #1 goal to guide you to success within your chosen program. I am so thankful for having the opportunity to learn from great instructors, and have guidance and help from the great administrative team at this campus! I highly recommend Trios College for any mature adult looking to upgrade their education and knowledge, and find their next dream career or expand on your current knowledge.

Paid $3,000 more than other colleges charge, rude staff and all i got out of it was a diploma and a minimum entry job! FULL WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY!!!!!!!!

TriOS college is a great school and with the staff and instructors that ive had in the beginning to now all of them made a huge impact on my life. i started all shy and wasn't able to talk really in front of crowds but now that all changed with the help of everyone instructors to classmates its a great school to come to. meeting with alot of people as they helped me along the way to come out of my shell and give it my all, as my one classmate told me that he wants to see everyone go where they want to be and never give up on their dreams. All i can say from here is Im glad i came to TriOS college

Hawazen Salaima

As an intern at Career Services Department, triOS College I would say that I've had the most of my internship by getting supported by highly professional Employment Specialists at Kitchener site (Leslie and Leann). Throughout my practicum hours I've sensed the organization's encouraging culture. The staff in all departments show collaboration, dedication, and constructive teamwork. It's been an a privilege working in such a great educational organization which is an added value for myself personally and professionally. Thank you so much triOS!!

I would not recommend attending triOS or any private college for that matter. It is literally a waste of your time and your money. My short time spend here, a teacher said that you cannot get a good job from the programs there because why do you deserve the same job as someone who does 2+ years at college or university? All of the classes are filled with people who love to start drama. So, if you like feeling like you are back in high school, this is the place for you! Majority of the teachers here are rude and disrespectful and the staff is not helpful at all. I waited over two months to receive my OSAP. Why? Because the financial aid didn’t update my banking information and the money went to my old CLOSED account. No one could figure out why I had not received anything, not even the people at the NSLSC so finally they sent me a cheque. They have very strict unreasonable rules and dress code. They also have put me on restriction from OSAP after I left so now I can’t go back to school at all, so thanks. Overall, this is a horrible and unprofessional place. Take the time and take the same course at Conestoga and be able to get a better job!

James Brown

Kitchener triOS campus is a great campus with great staff, they are always there to talk and take the time to listen. I am in the police foundations course. The material is a bit hard to follow as some of it is outdated but fortunately we have had (and still do) great instructors and give us real life experience as they are all retired police officers.

Wenhui Wang

triOS is really amazing place for me.I graduated with Supply Chain& Logistics Diploma with Internships and CIFFA certificate. Teachers are very helpful and professional.Right now I have got a job in a 44 years company with satisfied pay, and the knowledge I got from triOS did a lot for me in getting this position. Anyway, as a successful graduate, I highly recommend triOS.

It is a nice private college in town. If you don't have time to waste, this is your best way to get your college diploma which under one year. Do your home work before you make a decision.

redcat71

Video Game Design and Development is a great course if you're an experienced programmer looking to pick up some new skills or if you've never touched code in your life and are looking to get into a fun and new career. The staff are all helpful and willing to put in the same effort that you are into teaching you what you need to learn for the field.

Brittany Day

This is a terrible college. Absolutely awful. As soon as they get your money, they stop supporting you and are very rude. I definitely DO NOT recommend this school. 4 days left of theory(book work) and a student has dropped out due to the only two placement options and no considerations for their students. Normal colleges you can choose your placement location, here you are not allowed too. You have to do placement at their said locations. When you join the school you get a schedule stating all classes are 8-1. WHICH IS UNTRUE. They do not tell you this beforehand. Placement starts at 6am. I live almost 2 hours from the school, no daycare is open at 330am. Both nursing homes they have for placement have COVID. It is not safe for our students to be there when 2 students from the last placement group ended up with COVID. I live in an area where COVID numbers are very minimal. It is not right, for you guys to force us to interprovincial travel. I have 3 children and they do not deserve to be put at risk like that. If i choose to withhold my placement until COVID numbers have dropped, then all my grants will be affected. In the long run, I would end up paying triple the price if I choose to withhold placement until it is safe to do so with my family. I am a single mom, your school needs to be more considerate of students and their family. I think this school is absolutely awful. I have come this far, now I have to choose to put my children at risk or drop out of school. Its wrong.

Coming from another country in January 2018 was a big challenge for me. I knew I had to do something to find a job. I chose the Medical Office Assistant program offered by triOS College in Kitchener because I wanted to work with and for people. The program is good, the teachers are wonderful. I learned theory and practice related to this position. After I finished the course, the triOS College provided me an internship at Waterloo walk-in clinic. Thank you again for this amazing opportunity to work in a real field, with such wonderful people. The internship actually completed the entire course preparing me a lot for a real job.

Melanie Wakefield

Very friendly staff.. expensive parking.

I attended the Video Game Design and Development program and it changed my life. I entered into that classroom and was instantly daunted, thinking that I could not possibly comprehend all of the hieroglyphics written upon the whiteboard. I was wrong. My instructors and mentor compelled me to be the best I could be, and I have a newfound love and passion. I am confident in my ability now, and ready to face many different kinds of challenges that may lay ahead, not just in game development but in various types of software development. A big thank you to TriOS and my instructors!

Hamdi Abdirahman

Furqan Ali

I would recommend triOS college atleast for Supply Chain & Logistics course thats what I am doing. The staff is very helpful if you need any assistance... I would like to share my story while in triOS that I recently had a new member in the family and with all the appointments for my wife with the doctor the instructor(Marvin) was very flexible in letting me go. I recently got a job at Penske. The fun part is I saw the email from Penske minutes after my baby boy was born. Only thing I would say that there is one teacher I took one course of career management and she treated as if we are in school in 5th grade and she didnt give any breathing space which I think should not be the case in a career college but still I will give 5 stars as rest of the experience was amazing. I love being at triOS due to all the good things happen with my life. Thank you everyone for making things easy for me in this journey and special thanks to Marvin....
