I am glad that I joined Dental Assisting program at CDI College Burnaby Campus. Even it was the year of Covid, but the instructor team were working their best for everyone’s success. I got job offer even before I graduated (Oct 2020). This is not just a job, but it is a career that you will be proud of and it will change the quality of your family’s life!

Already regret taking the Human Resources program located in BC. Their online course literally set you up to fail. What actions work on the practise do not work on the exams. You will always have to contact their tech fixers and good luck if you have time to finish your course by the time they fix the problem.

I am about to graduate from the Educational Assistance program and I was very scared to make a program that was not my native language but my tutor (Kim Armstrong) was so empathetic and warm who made everything very easy and bearable. Instructor was knowledgeable BUT: He sided with Skinhead mentality against me who was clearly a minority First Nations Student. They planted a pizza slice that must have been several days old and let me consume it and I had to take time away from my studies to clear up. I respected him as a person but he did not reciprocate. He moved to Surrey Campus and I don't care to see him or anyone like him in an educational facility.

The staff and faculty except the external instructor for the ECG module were fabulous and always willing to help during college classtime and after college hours. The classes were small enough so each student got particular attention and the specific needs were met as well as being respected. Worst school ever. took an accounting and payroll course online through edmonton south. The online course had so many flaws. there was reading materials that had many spelling errors and not clear information. the teachers and course materials didn't teach you the necessities for finals. there are days when there are issues with ecampus and not able to work on assignments with long wait times for service. Was told i would get a scholarship when registering but when i email the school no one has yet to answer my questions.. This school have disappointed me with their leak of professionalism and support for students. I would not want to recommend this school to anyone. I feel it have been a waste of money and invested time in the course.

I do not recommend this college to anyone because they are the most irresponsible and unprofessional collage ever seen and had experience with, I had to drop a program after 3 weeks and they have charged me 8,000 dollers , which they have told the students we have 1 month to drop out with no pay, On the registration day you get absolutely different information from them that they gave us in the first place, Please have double thoughts before choosing this college

Decided on Immigration Consultants Course but was not sure which college should I join. Finally, CDI Burnaby campus was the choice. Sharmila “Asst Director Admissions” helped me understand the program objectives, course schedule and career path. The student support services are great. Our instructor Ben Fok’s unique approach of delivering knowledge and industry experience have made us understand how to apply the immigration knowledge gained in actual scenario. The program is well coordinated and has a disciplined approach. I am satisfied that I made an excellent choice by joining CDI College. I would highly recommend CDI College.

Wooow, i totally recommend going to CDI BURNABY school to do the social service program. The school director is one of the coolest people i have met if it was not for her i probably would not be in the position of finishing it. The instructor is pretty chill but also very strict but always there to help whenever you need it always has the answers and if she doesn't she will find.

I started CDA in CDI college a year and half ago; this course is very intensive and stressful. After seeing my Dr she told me it's not suitable for me to continue. After 3 weeks of the start date I gave them my Dr's letter addressing my situation. I quit and then I realized I've been charged for 7000$ for just 3 weeks which even the first week was not held by any of the instructors and it was just very basic instruction to generally how to study! They didn't waive or help me in any ways not to pay this loan; they told me I could do another program but I didn't want any other program they were offering. The one star I'm giving is just for some of instructors who were helpful and great at what they did. Be Very relaxed and ready about the lessons you'll be taught or just stay away from this college and don't waste your money.

1. I took the Addictions and Community service worker course, and I had MULTIPLE addicts in my class, who came to schook tweeking. But apparently you have to be 5 years sober. 2. I was deciding between two colleges , and had made that abundantly clear to CDI, they were very very pushy as to getting me to apply for a student loan and enroll ASAP , even after I had told them I was still looking into other schools.. after I had told them I chose to go with a different school they kept calling me and asking me why, when I told them because it was significantly cheaper for the same course, as well as the school getting funding from the government they told me that they have never heard of this before , and it is probably not true. Months go by and I receive yet again, another call.. telling me the same thing, they cut me off while I was speaking and said that it is not true and made it seem as if they were genuinely concerned about it but you can tell they are not. Even if I do end up having to pay for the course in the end , it is still significantly cheaper for the same course with the school I have decided to go with! I also had a friend apply for CDI and she was very unhappy with how pushy they were and they had also messed a lot of it up.. I’m not sure if this is maybe just a one off type of thing , but from my little experience I had with them I would not recommend them.. I’m sure some people have had good experiences and everything but not my friend or I, and I hadn’t even started classes!

This is a horrible place. I am doing the Hr and Payroll course. I will email my instructor over and over with no response at all. I’ve been waiting over a week for my grades in my course and they say they have up to 5 days . Very frustrated O have had to go through another person every time The one instructor actually emailed me by accident instead of her boss saying what am I supposed to tell her I have no idea . I’ve had tons of technical difficulties and have phoned the tech people with no answer from them either And if you do get a hold of them they have no idea what they are doing . These guys pressured me into signing up and getting a student loan I didn’t even want to take this course I wanted to take another one. This is frustrating

This school has shady practices. Proceed with caution. Just google the owner of this corporation. He was shut down in the USA for the shady practices and taking money from thousands of students. International students, be warned that this school will enrol you after you pass the English test. But the English test is passed by everyone because the instructor will let you blatantly cheat. Yes, people graduate, yes they may find jobs, but a lot are left behind and footed with a large bill for nothing without being able to graduate. BTW you will not be granted a seat for a course if you need to do a re-take because new students take priority then waitlist of new students then you, who have already paid for a year's tuition up front. It is very common for you to sit out for two semesters because there are no spots for you. That's approximately 6 months of waiting even though you have paid in full. The enrolment department and financial department of this school are aggressive predators, I urge you to be careful. Also, many instructors are unprofessional. Rules don't apply to them and some bring children to class because of lack of babysitters. Also note how their google rating is high. Restaurants that are to rave for probably have more honest reviews but less stars than this school. The school will "request" that you put a google review. Again, shady practices.

CDI was the best choice I made to pursue my interests and attain what I thought was not possible at my age. As the saying goes help only comes to those who help themselves...lots of hands on which I found was the best way to learn. As I am getting closer to be certified I will miss not attending the lectures. My payroll instructor was not only very knowledgeable but extremely qualified in his position and was able to share way more knowledge beyond the course requirements. Never thought in my life after 25 years of being away from school I will go back and start a career here in Canada, after I landed a job at a dental clinic as a sterilization assistant i decided to pursue a career on dental assisting through the encouragement of close friend and family .I first went to a public school but due to prerequisite they needed which I don't have I went to CDI college to inquire about the DA course .It was Ms.Sharmila welcomed me and explained all the details about the course, though at first I am kinda reluctant due to I'm not sure if i can make it because as I said I've never been to school for about 25 yrs ..The word that came to her mouth is " I know you can do this" ..And yes now here I am almost 4 wks away from the finish line ..Thanks to all our wonderful instructors my knowledge in dental assisting grew even more ..

DO NOT enroll in an online course through this college! I am currently a student and just since September there have been 3 major service disruptions to the online campus portal. (one lasting almost 3 full days) When you work full time and also have children, scheduling time to get your school work done is extremely important. So when you sit down during that scheduled time and cant even log onto the campus website, this can quickly cause you to start falling behind. Its so incredibly frustrating, and although I have expressed my disappointment and concern to the IT hotline every time it has happened, all I ever receive back from them is "We are working on it".

He's a super nice guy with a fabulous sense of humor and very knowledgeable instructor. If you get a chance to be one his students, try to "IMPRESS him"and he will guide you in each and every steps. I feel so lucky to be his student at CDI College, Burnaby a year a go. Ben Fok is one of the best instructors that I've ever had. I inquired about a program and they haven't stopped harassing me about it since, even after I told them I wasn't interested. The initial contact person was trying to give me information about the wrong program, had issues with their phone (claiming it was a service issue) and was very pushy, trying to pass me off to admissions from the very first phone call. I am truly disappointed with the experience and would not recommend contacting this school.

This school is horrible. Don't ever think to go there again. I just had an appointment about how to enroll to this school. I was told to meet with a woman called Juvil. With 10 minutes early to Burnaby campus, the front desk asked if I was the first time there, then handed me a form to fill it as much as I feeling comfortable. After 20 minutes later, that woman, Juvil came out and called me saying to fill all the forms, using the word " must" to fill it out , and using" with a understanding". I told her that I am not sure if I would enroll to the program as I just want to know first. She was rude and enhanced her voice, said, " you must fill it all first, I will meet you after 5 minutes!" then ran away. I don't understand why I "must" do that? Her reaction is like she was a queen that I " must " obey her to fill the form? So what's the purpose for her to collect data from people while they are not interested enrolling into the school? what do they need data for? what nightmare is to meet this piece of woman, Juvil. Does school hire her for just upsets people away? Never go and recommend this school again. The worst experience ever!

This is the worst college ever! They scam the poor immigrants promising them jobs but in reality when the time comes they will say "oh we did not guarantee it!" But before admissions they say it with such surety that poor people are scammed into their dirty business!they switch employment consultants like people change their moods! Horrible experience there is not a single person you can go to and actually complain or ask for help! You just feel like a headless chicken running around then the last resort is Google reviews! I would not recommend this school to anyone. I am taking Dental Receptionisit at the moment. One of their staff told me that I do not need to worry for the practicum places that I am going to because the school will find it but in the end they ask us to call different clinic so that we can do our practicum. Even for our first aid they want us to find a place that we can take our first aid. I’m so disappointed. We are paying you so much money but in the end we do all the works.

An associate from the campus nicely arranged an initial meeting n explained everything in details and helped me a Course to choose the most suitable to my background eduction. I chose 'Immigration Consultant Program' and now I feel I made a great choice not only by selecting this advised Program but also the well disciplined and with great academic atmosphere this Campus of CDI College, Burnaby. Talking about my classes, I am more than 100% satisfied with my schedule and, on top of everything, my instructor Mr. Ben Fok. He is a great teacher with an abundance of knowledge and information that is very practical. Methods of teaching are very explanatory and understandable. Worst investment ever. Staff turnover is so high that throughout my entire program, no one knew what was going on and students were constantly confused about where to go for help. I took an online program and tech support knew absolutely nothing and took hours or days to call back to "support" students. At one point, I waited 2 days for a call back from tech support about accessing a textbook and they still did not have a resolution. When it came time for practicum, they did not try to place me anywhere because they found out that I already worked in the field- even though practicum placement was a huge part of their advertising for the program. Tests and material had spelling, grammar and punctuation errors which was unprofessional. Overall, CDI was a poor experience and not worth the cost of the program.

So here is truth. I graduated last year. Within the first month, the director was in the classroom telling us (or let’s say forcing us) to participate in the google reviews or we won’t get our usernames to our portals and there we won’t see our grades because the director would not sign , all students giving their email Adresses ahead of time so she can confirm our reviews along with 5 stars. Literally , we were forced to put our 5star reviews . The financial agent Dhima is rude and so unprofessional as if she is living in a village back in 17s , the administrator Of the school is the worst , extremely impolite , uncivil and rude. Every time around she reminded me of some old-school ,super strict teachers back in India 20 years ago. These people gathering together to form the most rubbish school ever . Nothing ! Nothing in that school is worth the tuition , we paid all the that tuition which is crazy expensive compared to what they offered.if you want to find a career , never go to CDI College.So now I’m deleting my review and on behalf of all my friends , I’m updating on my review.

It's a great college, the staff are very kind and helpful. I am taking the Child and Youth Services Worker Course Online and im really enjoying it. They have so many course options and they are all fairly priced. I am blessed to be attending this college, i highly recommend it to anyone looking to embark on a life long career.

CDI college has great staff, teachers and students. The thing I love about CDI college is that they teach you theory based and hands on. CDI college staff and instructors are fair , respectful and will do anything and everything to make sure you are set up for nothing but success.
