I have asked for more info on a course, they refused to give me info via email. I told them my work schedule and not to call me during work and they continuously called me during work hours. Every time I asked any questions and told them I am unable to come by the school for a tour etc, they wouldn't give me ANY info and just said that they would like to give me a tour and introduce me to finical aid and career planning. This school seems very shady and has horrible communication.

Excellent professional teachers that makes the lessons simplified and enjoyable to learn especially my instructor in PSW Program. Classroom environment looks clean and tidy all the time. The staffs are very friendly and helpful also for providing financial aid.

I am currently an MOA student at Oxford College. My professor Tammy Browning is absolutely amazing at what she does. She was my professor for the first 4 weeks, i got put into another class for a new course and it didn't work out. Tammy allowed me and 2 other students back into her class which puts her at 45 students in total. She's so understanding, kind and really helps us to make sure we understand what we're doing. If you have Tammy as your professor, you're in for a treat!

As a current student here for the MOA program, I can honestly say the experience has been good. I have made great friends, and the teachers are all friendly and willing to help you out when you need it. Everyone is focused on doing their job correctly, and you can't complain when the class is only four hours a day!

Don’t waste your time. I gave my information inquiring for the PSW certificate offered at the Burlington location. A lady phoned me and asked me to come in to talk to someone, they have no one available to do this after 6pm, even though they are supposedly accommodating to people working full time, so I agreed to a phone call from someone. This lady went through why Oxford for the PSW is a good direction. Two days later, I got a follow up call and the person advised me that PSW is not offered in Burlington as advertised online.

The staff there are all very nice and loving people. The PROBLEM is the HEAD OFFICE (they are very dysfunctional). I went there a few years ago, but I also have a university degree so I basically just taught myself, while I also worked part-time. If you're smart and a hard worker you will pass and be fine. However, if you know someone in the field it will help you get a job for sure or else make sure you are volunteering. The program doesn't have the proper credentials to teach you to get into a hospital. So you most likely will be working I a doctors office or walk-in clinic.

worst dental assistant course, insane amount of pressure and work to do with very little teaching. they expect us to know everything. they put insane pressure on students with homework, assigments daily quizzes, and exams. worst school for dental assistant. shouldnt even be calling it a school because i teach myself everything. plus the teachers treat the students very poorly!!

I started at Oxford College in April 2017. I made a phone call to inquire about the MOA program, and started the next day. Since the day that I started all the staff have been very helpful and understanding. My teachers have been knowledgeable and always willing to go out of their way to help. The class hours of 8:30-12:30 made it very convenient for me as a Mother. One suggestion.. better Wi-Fi!

I am currently taking a Medical Office Assisstant at Oxford College in Burlington. Faculty members are so helpful and approachable. I felt so great to join the program. I’m looking forward to finish and have a better career for the future.

Friendly and helpful staff. Student body really looks out for one another. Great facilities including the massage clinic and ambulances for the paramedics program. Always a pleasure to visit.

Went to visit the school, it was at best very disorganized. WILL NOT give you info, unless you come to the school. The classroom and facilities were up to par, i'll give them that. I am sure the teacher was alright too. They called me every day, they will not let up. I had to call the head office in scarborough to ask them to stop calling, they didn't and still call. Was a sales gimmick, hands down! Found a better school, that treats me as a person, not a number!

Some teachers are very supportive .

I am currently enrolled in the MOA program, was skeptical about what returning to school as a mature student, especially via zoom would be like but what a great experience Tammy Browning has made it to learn so far. It’s quite obvious just how much she loves teaching, and how much effort she has put into making sure we are learning! She has made me quite confident in my decision to return to school and I look forward to learning for the rest of the year.

No one cares about anything , disorganized school and ( instructors ) nobody is a certified teacher at this school . 1. Wifi never works ! 2.classrooms are dirty and never cleaned 3. Equipment is broken an run down and out of date . 4. The instructors are nice one day and hate the world the next . 5. All they want is money and don’t care about the students . The joys of a private college . 6. They will tell you anything for you to come and sign up . This is not a school of business and technology, it’s just a business ! someone’s way of making fast cash . Stay away and go to a real school where they care and can provide help when needed .

I am currently a MOA student at Oxford College. So far my experience has been fabulous. I enjoy coming in to school each day and the staff are a large part of that. Each and every one of them have been very helpful and truly care about the students achieving their goals. They are lovely people to spend time with. I recommend Oxford college to anyone looking to advance their education in relaxing friendly environment.

I am studying MOA at the Burlington campus. At the moment it is online daily through zoom and we have a wonderful instructor Tammy Browning. I was super nervous to return to college as a mom of 3 but Tammy is energetic, always prepared with a thorough lesson and makes learning so much fun! She has provided motivational speakers, youtube videos to summarize lessons and is always on hand to answer any questions we may have. I have built a fantastic rapport with Tammy and will be sad when the class comes to an end. She has helped me understand so many things I had difficulty getting my head around which has led me to be successful thus far on my assessments. Thank you Oxford college for this opportunity to further my career and thank you for our wonderful teacher Tammy!

I personally wouldn't recommend oxford college Burlington campus to anyone. I've been a student there for 6 months and am currently in the intra oral dental assisting program and it is a complete joke. 6 months Into our 12 month program and the clinic is not ready, we do not have the proper equiptment to learn off of and the stress it has put on the students and teacher is ridiculous. the only good teacher we thought we had in the last 6 months lied to us and chose not to teach us and then just quit because the school is an absolute joke. and the campus manager? an even bigger joke. the schools claims they have done nothing wrong. they offered a program they were not set up for and took the students tuition money anyway. our program is done in a few months and were not ready

the support of the teachers has been outstanding. they value and respect each students input.

Tammy Browning is the best teacher i have ever had

As a graduate student of Oxford College, (formerly Trillium College that was purchased by Oxford) I found the office admin lacking in ability to do their job and run the school properly. The reason for this is because the head office of Oxford is making the school run with minimal staff. Office staff members are running around like a chicken with its head cut off trying to keep that place going. Staff turnover rate is very high and none of them are paid very well but thankfully they do it as well as expected in this case. Few things to keep in mind if you do chose this school: Pros: - Great instructors - Convenient class hours - Faster ability to get a diploma than a public school Cons: - quite a few tests had wrong answers in the answer keys so double check your marked tests! - don't expect office staff to be able to help you very quickly if you need them - hold the school accountable and make sure they give you first aid certificates (I have classmates that need this for registering after graduation and are still waiting almost 18 months after taking the cpr class) - Make sure they give you all your textbooks up front, I did not have a few for my classes and the school reimbursed me many months after the classes were completed.

I am currently a Medical Office Assistant in Oxford College and I can say really say that you can't judge a book by it's cover until you read it by heart. From the Education Consultant to our Instructors in every module I have, are all supportive, helpful, and very knowledgeable in their fields. Up to now I am enjoying and looking forward to attend and learn in my class everyday. They taught me many things that I am looking for in a school. They will teach you what you need to succeed and inspire you to follow what you want to become after you finish the course. The school is very near where I am living and the schedule is very convenient for those who have busy schedule. Thank you Oxford College for helping me fulfill one of my goal in life :)
