As you can see it reaches an opinions average is very high, and it is based on a large number of opinions, so we may be pretty sure that the evaluation is quite faithful. If there are many people who bothered to evaluate when they've done well, is that it works.
As you know, we do not usually stop to write scores when these are good and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or incidence...
This University corresponds to the category of University.
Nice clean facilities with updated equipment
A tip for you if you are signing up for weekend recreational programs. Sunday parking is free, so if you have a choice between Saturday or Sunday programs, try to go for Sundays.
I could go on for hours on how much I appreciate the staff at MRU. They have helped my son through his difficult times transitioning into engineering and the teachers were flexible and focused. I will be sending my grandchildren here in the future!
a great free place to take the kids the education and staff are pretty great too. The mru library has a free public toy library and there is a small Dinosaur museum. Other great aspects are the great food choices and the student centers in upper whycham hall , the alternative cafeteria. all the places to sit and all the art on the walls AND the beautiful gardens to admire in the warmer times of the year makes this a very very beautiful school to choose. The University of Calgary is uglier by far now but still has some good stuff going on for it forsure. for international students both schools are good choices if you enjoy outdoor adventure with the mountains and the Dinosaur fossil laden bad lands close by to explore.
Best years of my life. Started in brand new Faculty of Science in fall of 2008 and loved every day I was there. I graduated in 2015 and have missed MRU and my professors so much! My mom passed away at the end of a semester in 2010 and the registrar's office and my professors were very understanding and compassionate when I had to withdraw with cause just before finals. I was given the opportunity to write a final exam two months later and I repeated my courses the following semester. In 2014 I was quite ill and was easily able to communicate with the profs and arrange for alternate exam dates. They were all very kind and accommodating. Loved the small campus and class sizes, got to know the instructors very well, and they would always remember my name even years after I was in their class! I made good use of the U-Pass and never had to pay for parking, haha! Great school, so many fond memories, definitely check it out. Faculty is top notch!
Great gym ????
High prices
Melinda Drews in recruitment is very polite and super helpful in answering questions. Thank you Melinda for all of your patience answering all of my questions :)
Probably one of the better gyms in the city if you live anywhere near here, get access to courts including nice squash courts, a track, a climbing wall a big pool, this is way better value than most gyms can hope to offer.
Pretty good gym, lots of weights and treadmills
They have a wide range of things to do with rock climbing, swimming, weights, their track, and squash. The price for their pass is extremely reasonable!
Best facility in town for the price. And if you are a family member of a student it's only 8 bux. The pool is so nice and always has a lane free. If you want to avoid the dbags, you can use equipment on the upper floor by the running track.
Fantastic climbing wall, wonderful instructors. Would recommend
Best photography courses in the city!!!
Clean. Friendly staff.
Mount Royal has really become a great school in the past several years. Very clean, non smoking campus.
Awesome store
Educational
Good swimming pool, salt water and usually not too busy.
This 2 storey gym has everything you could want. The floor level has high quality and well maintained fee wights and machines. It can get cramped in the lower level at peak times. Thankfully there ample space around the 400M track for stretching and body wieght exercises, along with select machines and cardio equipment overlooking the triple gym. The gymnasium space has 3 courts that provide enough space for all activities during non-booked times. Occasionally there are sporting events of all kinds that lead to the closure of the gym floor space and half of the track level. While sometimes an inconvenience it is also nice to be able to get a workout while supporting university and other athletics.
Nicely laid out facility. But I honestly didn't see much of it
New design and more space.
1 star for letting a prominent very active student of the school (Zoe Slusar) harass and bully another student who was minding his own business - over his political views. The school has chose not to reprimand her and that speaks volumes about what is and is not acceptable at your university.
such a good real world experience
Great facility with excellent customer service.
Clearly, scientific research is not at the top of the list for important things. Some profs are great, vast majority of gen ed profs are atrocious. Admins take weeks to respond to emails or phone calls.
Finished in 2013. As an alumni, I witnessed the University double down on SJW nonsense and divisive politics. Pretty much took the undergrad degree off my resume and chose to skate by on my subsequent degree from U of C. …
International Student Graduate in Business Administration. If you are looking for a Canadian university for business look no further. I loved the fact the classes are small compared to other universities and you get the opportunity on a one on one with the professor. Definitely worth the fortune you spend in tuition fee. Professors really approachable and eager to help if you show an interest in their course. I miss the time i spent at this uni, will return for an MBA some day.
Very nice facility, just parking a bit expensive
Very open space, with lots of good products like school supplies and clothing, and where you pick up your textbooks.
this is a very good universities
The sound system is the best compare with U of Calgary concert hall. You'll enjoy the whole performance without any feedback noise. Parking lots are outside and inside. Audience can take a bus.
Best facility in town for the price. And if you are a family member of a student it's only 8 bux. The pool is so nice and always has a lane free. If you want to avoid the dbags, you can use equipment on the upper floor by the running track.
Good university
Riddell Library and Learning Centre is an amazing brand new area for students and researchers. The Palace for mind development and curiosity.
Incredible facility, everything you could ask for and more. Staff is great and the hours and prices are fantastic. Very clean and well maintained. Great for all fitness levels.
Great place to workout. Up to date equipment, clean and safe.
(Translated) I am a Haitian I have no money for my University study, I am in rheto, I have a lot of difficulty for my pay please help me, my pay gives me nothing (Original) Je suis un Haïtien j'ai pas d'argent pour mon Étude universitaire ,je suis en rhéto ,je beaucoup difficulté pour mon payer s'il-vous-plaît aide moi ,mon payer me donne rien
Always helpful, the ladies that work here are always sweet and definantely help ease nerves during exam season.
I love the ping-pong game at Mount Royal.
Best place to take my kids for swim lessons. Coaches and lifeguards are super friendly and helpful.
They have mucho burrito and dq. Yum
it was ok
i have been there in 2011 n I love to go there again. faculty facilities n students are nice .
Currently stepping all over personal rights to frregarding enforcing vaccines and expecting testing
Graduated in Computer Information Systems. Great experience overall. Class sizes made a lot of the work very close to real world experience. Professors were always available for help. Would definitely recommend.
Beautiful part of the campus. I came here as a kid for my sister's ballet practice and got to know the campus. It has changed drastically since then and looks gorgeous compared to then. The pool area is improved, they have a great track and the gym area is huge.
Campus itself is very modern and spacious. Parking is available, but very expensive. Biggest problem of the campus is that there is no direct access by vehicle between western and eastern parts. If you are at the west side and need to go to eastern side building, you have to go back to the main road, drive around the campus, enter from the east, park and pay. A bit inconvenient. Other campus facilities are pretty good.
I love MRU and I’m so glad I went here. As someone who learns better by doing it was really great how hands on my degree was. Shout out to the entire journalism faculty for being my second family for four years! If I had to do it again I would in a heartbeat.
Good
Love the campus store
Has everything you would need as a student but has a habit of running out of textbooks
Equipment is great, and in relatively good condition. Much better than any standard chain brand gym.
I worked at MRU, before it became a University. I loved working in the beautiful building, walking the serene grounds and interacting with all departments and, especially the students. The years may have flown by and my last name may have changed but, my love for this University and for Calgary will remain with me forever.
Good facilities. Staff seems a bit absent but it doesn't distract from a good overall experience
Great place to hoop
This university doesn't support freedom of expression and the sharing of open ideas.
Good swimming pool, salt water and usually not too busy.
Nice climbing wall. $12 if you don't have a pass.
Close to home.
Meh, okay school. Profs are good. People are okay, but the campus could have more amenities.
Good teachers
Good facilities and good staff but quite expensive for the courses I was interested in.
I enjoy going to the Bookstore. The staff is very nice and always want to help you. They cheer you up, and if you are lucky they will tell you a joke. However, I believe that they can put new items to sell. I like the clothes and the coffee cups.
Fun
I could write a book about how amazing the professors are at this school. Most of them are passionate about teaching and extremely kind human beings. I went through a lot of personal difficulties when I was a student there, and my professors were so understanding and accommodating. I'll never forget them. One major downside is the administrative side of the school... not good! I had some bad experiences with advisors, registrar staff, etc. I also don't think professors get treated well by those who are running the school.
In July 2015, the $90.5 million Taylor Centre for the Performing Arts (TCPA) was officially opened, accommodating the growing Mount Royal Conservatory, which is a musical conservatoire in operation since 1910 that serves up to 10,000 Calgarians annually. In addition to 43 soundproof rehearsal studios and 6 ensemble suites, the TCPA also houses the 787-seat Bella Concert Hall (opened August 26, 2015), which was designed by Pfeiffer Partners Architects in cooperation with Sahuri + Partners who used a "contemporary interpretation of the rural barn on the expansive prairie of Alberta" in their design. The Taylor Centre for the Performing Arts is named after the family name of businessman, philanthropist, and Calgarian Don Taylor who donated $21-million to the project. Additionally, the namesake of the Bella Concert Hall is Mary Belle Taylor, Don Taylor's mother, who was affectionately known as 'Bella.' In addition to its design, the Taylor Centre for the Performing Arts is notable for being a LEED Gold certified building and for being highly accessible for users with diverse physical abilities. While built with the needs of the Mount Royal Conservatory in mind, the TCPA and its various spaces are considered a community resource.
this is a very good universities
Great faculty
Too expensive for what you're getting. Textbooks run out quick so get there early or before the next semester starts to get your books!
They recently moved the bookstore to the old library, so the layout is a little weird (not that they can help it). The selection is pretty nice, and the prices are decent. There's usually a sale at least once a week (e.g., $10 shirts, knick-knacks, etc). They don't carry disposable bags for purchases -- bring your own or buy a reusable tote.
Great equipment and staff!!!
Well laid out
Great gym. Lots of equipment along with a lap pool, squash courts, basketball courts, a rock climbing wall, and indoor track
Nice
Best place to find inexpensive gift-ware. If you're a struggling student and need to send a gift home, or gift something to a new friend, you will always find something very nice at a very good price.
A university full of segregation.
To the pig that said that we're all U of C rejects that didn't make the cut...uh no buddy, that's not how it works. I got accepted to MRU and U of C and to this day I've never regretted being here. For those who don't know, MRU has smaller class sizes so you actually have an opportunity to talk to your profs more often through their email/phone/in person and they will also know your name while profs at U of C probably have no clue who you are! Another important thing is that since the classes are small each program is like a family, by the end of the first semester we all know each other well which means connections for the future, study groups for finals or hang outs after class. So don't be hating on MRU if you haven't experienced it yourself. That is all.
Good equipment and clean. Large enough facility to not have to wait.
The best facility in town by far. With the best staff!
i do not like this school the vending machines never have change under them like at other places and also they deleted the incel club that was qthe only place i felt comfortable talking to others about my feelings i am a not proud incel and this club was like my family please bring it back and maybe i will rate your school better i have lots of influence in the community as you can see im at the moment a level 4 local guide almost level 5 please listen or else........... dale doesn like
Got everything here :) the only downside is that they don't have hair dryers
Good place to work out except the gym needs better ventilation
The schooling here is exceptional, but needs to rethink parking.
many places to study
I have absolutely loved this university and recommend it to anyone. Most specifically the public relations or any communications program. The classes are small and engaging with professors who really care. The programs are very hands-on and prepare students for the real world, many with internships or practicums to give students real experience and work on their resumes, setting them aside from students from other institutions. Employers from all fields are eager to hire MRU graduates because of their readiness for the workforce.
Hy, i saw all about this university and.. I found it best ever university for education, and actually I'm from Pakistan and i just want to ask,, I've completed my BBA(Hons) with 3.7 cgpa.. Am i able to get admission in MBA? Thanks
Wish I could give a negative star on my negative rating. My step sister worked really hard to get in to MRU too only find out to late to register for another university that MRU made a "mistake" and realized she is missing 1 credit. Revoking any studies at MRU to a later time. Way to hold peoples back on their future! Im guessing everyone is studying to be robots and not human when you hear things as petty as being denied after being accepted and paying all fees prior to finding out. They should have gave her an exception. This place is a joke. While she works hard and gets denied, my actual sister went to MRU for 8 years and got absolute squat out of it. Mainly because its a party facilty and she wasted her parents money to play. Glad to know that's the kind of students MRU wants. Useless party people instead of hard working students.
(Translated) Very good facilities !!! (Original) Muy buenas instalaciones!!!
Stayed in residence. Nice and quiet. Good facility. Thank you
Faculty is well experience and educated and class size and time table is also good.
Pretty good
Wonderful University. I have been to one other and a college and Mount Royal definitely has a good set up with the small classes and connected community. I felt more of the university experience than at either of the other places and I think that's due to the well funded student's association and the great people that go there. highly recommended.
making people taking a test , or be vaccinated is wrong
Mount Royal University (MRU) is a local (Calgarian) University located in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. MRU is a great university that puts their attention to putting students first. Class Sizes are small and the professors are great at responding to requests. The Library is a state of the art library with numerous activities and events that are now hosted 100% Online. All Classes and Events and Continuing Education Courses are all hosted online for now as the COVID-19 Pandemic has raged on. The continuing education certificates has a wide variety of certs ranging from Cybersecurity to Esports to the oil and gas industry. As a member of the class of 2020, I am so glad that the university hosted the event virtually and in person to accommodate for everyones personal situations in this unprecedented year of 2020. I am proud to be a Alummi of MRU. I would recommend MRU to all students as their university of choice in the Calgary Area.
It's great. A great big room
Great place to stock up on necessities for class
Bruh
Is well equipped clean and the machines are up to date
Writing this on behalf of someone who is not technical.... She is an X's and there are never any options for her in the store. The one time there was, it was orange. She just wants something in school colours.
Awesome recreation center. Everything that you can ask for. One thing that irks me a little bit is the day use lockers. If by amy chance they are not locked, some people will take out my contents, put it on the bench and use the locker that i occupied foe themselves.
Great place to get books! Always has what I need
Very well maintained gym, but it can get a bit busy. Definitely could use a few more power racks, since some inconsiderate people will set up on them for hours at a time.
That was a great experience! Nice and professional trainers too.
You'd be better off studying at Greendale Community College and make silly Dioramas all day.
A great facility, the only thing that would make it better is a cold pool.
Unbelievable that you have to pay for a drop in pass every time as a Full Time Student
Unbelievable that you have to pay for a drop in pass every time as a Full Time Student
Very nice facility, just parking a bit expensive
WOKE
(Translated) The school has a beautiful scenery, and there are many restaurants open to the public. Recently, a new library has been added, which should also be open to the public. (Original) 学校景色很美,有对外开放的多家餐厅,最近新添了一座图书馆,应该也是对外开放的。
Honestly its just a wonderful and welcoming school
It's a college bookstore... had to take a second mortgage out on my house to pay my bill
To the pig that said that we're all U of C rejects that didn't make the cut...uh no buddy, that's not how it works. I got accepted to MRU and U of C and to this day I've never regretted being here. Staff really care about me. Want me to have a good experience. Spacious. Attractive with lots of windows to inspire me in my workout.
The facilities are good for the price (public membership). They also include towel and lock service. The downside is parking is paid or a short walk away.
Beautiful campus. Safe, clean, friendly and easy to access!
The whole experience was a tad musky. This clown college just raised our tuition by 50% How much money do you really need to run a circus? The faculty is a bunch of U of C rejects that didn't make the cut and came here instead. God forbid you ever have a death in the family and have to miss class. They will send their condolences in the form of essays on top of the work you will be missing.Hope Grandma wont mind me writing my essay during her eulogy RIP Grandma . The word is out go to MRU and pay Keg prices for McDonalds quality
Lots of leisure amenities in the facility. Really chill place, I think. There's a good amount of students sleeping on couches, lol. Overall, I would consider MRU a comfy place.
Great parking, wonderful facilities.
Great athletic facilities! Staff is very nice.
My proffs have mostly been good. Library is nice. The campus isn't to big but it's not a huge school and I like that. No real complaints.
Mount royal massage is a life changer
Great space for the students and community.
Awesome school, I have one more year left in accounting and then it will be all over. My absolute biggest complaint about the school is knowing how much money some profs make (because its made public on MRU's website) and how little/stuck up some of them can be to their students. Difficult at times to accept the things the profs tell you knowing that you paid your dues to be here and that they should be willing to help the next generations have a good experience. Second complaint is parking. $8-$16 a day to come to a few classes? THIS IS RIDICULOUS! No one cares how much you paid for the parkade; if you have to charge students $16 to park then you have done something wrong. Dont make the students foot the bill for such an expensive investment by making them pay so much money for parking. And the parking enforcement cant read; I have been ticket FOUR TIMES where I had paid for parking but the guy didn't bother to look and my slip and ticket me anyways... yes, I can battle it and get the ticket reversed but who has time for that when your free time goes to making money to pay for parking? In spite of these two items, the school is great. Ignore the reviews that this is barely a University. MRU is giving the the U of C a run for their money and building a school culture that I am proud to be part of.
Only care about your money, no regard for education.
Great facility, hot tub, climbing wall, plenty of squat racks and online bookable squash courts, not to mention the running track and gyms.
Yeah
My Alma Mater
Full length pool, rock climbing wall and gym. Classes also offered here.
The Barrow Expresso cart I literally came to life in my 8am drinking his drip coffee. Staff are friendly and cheery but not in an annoying early morning way. Best 3 dollars for a large coffee I ever spent.
Well stocked gym and full size track to use whenever. Very convenient for students.
School
Shame on this school for mandating vaccines or kicking the students out! The faculty should be involved in accepting and guiding students for what is best for THEIR bodies.
Great gym.
Wow!
Rock climbing wall is AMAZING
Very very rude women at the general university information office!!! She also did not give me the general information I was asking about!!!
The locker room is usually decently clean but the machines are great. They all seem to be kept in safe working condition. I don't talk to the staff much but they seem friendly. The membership is included in tuition and family members receive quite a discount. It is kinda small, so it can be crowded during peak hours, but if you catch it when it's not busy, it's really nice.
Lots of activities well priced
wicked facility for a small school, love having the pool, climbing wall, basketball courts, and track included with a membership

This whole school is a scam. It looks like a really nice school and it's got all you could ask for in a school (a large recreation area, a huge library, a full cafeteria) but it's actually a scam to make people pay thousands of dollars for nothing. I didn't realize how much I didn't get from this school until I was forced to attend a different one. When I first applied I wasn't accepted into my program. The students counselors told me if I did open studies and took all the classes I could that were part of my program and scored well they would let me in next year. I wasted thousands of dollars and two semesters of my life working extremely hard and made it on the deans list both semesters, only for them to deny me entrance into my program the next year. It was a complete waste of money and I was miserable the entire two semesters. Everyone in the school is stuck up and didn't even want to talk to me or help me. (I slipped and fell outside one icy morning and no one stopped to help.) The librarians are ussless too and didn't know where to find anything or help me with printers or scanners. Parking was an absolute joke. After taking all my money the only place I could afford to park was far away in the A and B lots over by the feilds. This place is a joke and almost zero of my classes transfer to my new school. I recommend going other places. They might not have the same amenities but they might care about your actually education more.
I have been a student at Mount Royal for five years. I cannot speak on behalf of the departments of science, business, or mathematics. But if you plan on majoring in the humanities I implore you, do not waist your life on it. If you decide to major in history, you will not be taught about the importance of the past. You will be taught about micro-agressions, intersectionality, privilege, "Rich old white people" as my professors like to point out, and how western civilization was founded by supposed "white supremacy". It's a shame, because during my first year in 2013, we were taught both the good and bad from the past, and how we could learn lessons from history in order to shape a better future. I could look forward to a class that allowed me to engage in wholesome debate with my classmates, and to possibly have my perspective change from differing viewpoints. This is sadly no longer the case, at least in the humanities. Indoctrination no longer seems as far fetched as I once thought.
It's a university. An institution for education. It's great until you go to pay fees for anything. Parking is ridiculously expensive as well even just for a visit and not to register as a student. Lots of amenities, alot of departments. If …
The best gym in the City
Good service, lines do get a little long every now and then.
Best place to educate and learn skills my son in the TVP program teacher and coordinators very supportive and helpful today graduation day thanks and appreciated
We enjoy this facility for the Canadian Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Federation Alberta Championships tournament - always super clean, well staffed and set up perfectly for a great event. Easy parking and close to good eats.
Facility is great but organization or recreational leagues is not.
Great new store. Feels more crowded though, less space when it's busy season.
I am ashamed of MRU. COVID has caused MRU to give up teaching for the most part there is little to no learning at this school since COVID. Most classes are handing out YouTube videos or voice memos you listen to. Since COVID MRU is more of a degree Mill in my opinion. Before COVID I feel that MRU was a great school. But I can no longer recommend it.
You need to suck up to your professors if you want to succeed
Great university! Doors are locked til u call security. Four big bottles of hand sanitizer by the entrance! Very compliant to health & safety of the public! ????????
Only care about your money, no regard for education.
i have been there in 2011 n I love to go there again. faculty facilities n students are nice .
I gain great knowledge here and great debt
Nice campus
Very clean and straightforward experience the price for the public is easy too expensive though
I went for squash but the rest of the facility is great.
good place to get some work done, lots of seating areas. nice overall atmosphere.
Picking up my wife.
Great personnel
Great facility
Good school, however I advise against attending this institution if you have any medical disabilities. After a gender studies professor refused to accept my required accommodations for a life-threatening illness tied with gender-confirmation surgery; myself and my medical team had to go through exhausting amounts of paperwork, meetings, emails, only to be refused said accommodations by the department head and dean.
Quality education
We go to the pool in the morning. 25m pool. The most important part for me is that the water is reasonably warm!
One of the best gyms in Calgary!
I had a terrific experience here as a student. My comment is not directed at professors or faculty. Alumni relations, career services, and the administration department in general here is not good. I graduated in 2016 and it has been a nightmare to get ahold of anyone here during business hours Monday to Friday. Things don’t get done here unless you hold people accountable with a paper trail or take the time off from your day job to go there in person and demand action/answers. They will ignore your calls and emails outright. Expect a battle every time you want copies of transcripts and such. My girlfriend is still waiting for papers from the education department so she can begin the process of applying to work in her field. It seems like once they’ve collected your funds they don’t care to uphold their end of the bargain post graduation. I’m typically a patient, reasonable person. Over a period of two months trying to politely ask for help and assistance I took a day off work, went there in person, and refused to leave until I had my problem resolved. There’s a pervasive “not my problem” attitude I’ve picked up on from their staff. Tuition costs continue to increase due to “administration.” But I fail to understand/see how those additional funds are being used for student and alumni benefit. I wouldn’t do my degree over again here if I knew how poorly administration would be post graduation. When you spend $35-$40k on a degree a polite callback or reply to my email inquiries shouldn’t be too much to ask for.
Awesome place to work out!
They have great summer camps for kids.
Open boxing day, New Years Eve, Christmas Eve.
rest in piece kirby morrow :( u were such an amazing voice actor...
One of the best recreational complex infrastructures in town!
Nice.
I think a big piece now
Great memories here.
(Translated) Excellent university. In harmony with nature (Original) Excelente universidad. En armonia con la naturaleza
Nice people, you can find everything cheaper literally anywhere else
Love the childrens aquatic staff
Great campus. Lots of programs for people of all ages. Public speaking courses are great for children. You can also enroll yourself in music classes. There are also youth orchestras that practice and perform here. There are quiet study spaces that the public can utilize.
Lots of activities on campus
Great facilities, saltwater pool, large and varied climbing wall, full gym with free weights, racks, and machines, lots of treadmills and bikes, indoor track, squash and basketball courts.
I applied to this place after exploring the programs and campus life! and I am really hoping to get accepted here because mount royal seems like an amazing university to study, all of their programs have positive reviews and the staff is more than helpful!
I love how you can just go in the gym when it's free and play badminton
Lots of stock and friendly, knowledgeable staff
An excellent post-secondary experience. It has an amazing recreation facility, state of the art conservatory, and a brand new library. Also beautiful scenery to boot!
Decent place
I wish i could come to this university but i dont have money no passport ????????????????????????????????????
Absolutely horrible service.
I ATTENDED MOUNT ROYAL COLLEGE AND EARNED AN ASSOCIATE DIPLOMA IN POLICE SCIENCE IN 1972. A QUALITY FACULTY MAKES A QUALITY INSTITUTION. I RATE MOUNT ROYAL WITH FIVE STARS. PETER J.M. PALLESEN, CALGARY, ALBERTA
Im a keener for a good variety of reading materials. I would recommend this Uni store to all.
a great university!
Fantastic facilities
I loved the class sizes and atmosphere here
Fantastic climbing experience for youth
Great exercise class
- Great, clean facility. - Offers a gym, track, pool, climbing wall, squash courts, gymnasium, and a variety of classes. - Steam room and hot tub here too!
they have a good amount of bumper plates and women's weightlifting bars for my female weightlifting friends out there :D
It's ok I guess. They sell textbooks
Nice place to be. Wish 8 had my bike
I have enjoyed taking courses what this university has brought to my life and hope they continue on there high level of education for years to come
Love this gym! Open to the public for memberships and has better facilities than most big box gyms in the area. Pools, steam rooms, squash courts, wall climbing.. options are endless
Nice looking book store located at Mount Royal University.
I'm very enthusiastic after my first visit.
They have small class sizes for most of my courses.
Great place with small class sizes and professors that actually care about you.
Complete second rate trailer park of an institution. They get one star only because there is no zero star option. Theoretically an educational institution with a bizarre unknown registration process with a process and deadlines unknown. …
Complete second rate trailer park of an institution. They get one star only because there is no zero star option. Theoretically an educational institution with a bizarre unknown registration process with a process and deadlines unknown. Staff and instructors prove incapable of answering basic program questions. Covid provides the perfect cover to hide and be further unreachable. When I went there I liked the small classes but make no mistake... this is now a waste of time. Go to a real institution.
Friendly environment. Limited range of books though.
Great university
Very friendly and helpful staff. The small class sizes, and personal approach to teaching is what made it my first choice!
It is a very good place to learn. Small class size, conducive classrooms and a safe place for all regardless of you race, gender or sexual orientaion. Diversity and inclusion is noticed as you walk in through the doors of main street campus. Come check it out. You belong here.
Nice place. Busy
Great gym but can get very busy
Traded 60k for a cool slip of paper. 10/10 would do again. In all seriousness though, enjoyed my time here. To bad about Covid killing in person classes though. :(
Great campus, small classes and great programs!
Go somewhere else if you want to get an education, this place is all about indoctrination.
I use to love my University, but recently they have displayed an obscene level of political bias. The one star is for the select few incredible teachers who have and support critical thinking... but it's not enough. If you want to go to a University that cares about you as an individual, look elsewhere because it's not here.
Don't accept someone if your gonna take forever to change your mind
Gross just gross
Great teachers friendly students and you don't have to run a marathon to get to your next class
I was just picking up my One Card
Great place to exercise!
Friendly & approachable Professors, lots of recreation, events and opportunities to give students a rich student life experience.
Good prices on chiropractic and physiotherapy
Loved it
Very user friendly...parking on Sunday is free .. Beautiful facilities
Terrible set up this year with an hour wait outside just to wait an hour inside.
As an Alumni of MRU, it is a great place for Mom and Dad to take the kids for some exercise. Staff is very friendly and happy to help. Great membership deal for Alumni with kids. Will return
Claimed to be home of the cougars, most women were in there 20’s Not 30’s let alone 40’s. Good Opa though.
