Had a blast here despite the weather. The boat is big enought that even with choppy seas it was not bad. The captain did his all to make sure we got enough fish for a fry on the island. He's not a bad chef with the fish and chips even. Defiantly coming back again and sending others there way.

Cannot say enough good things. Family is how we were treated. The weather was incredible though fishing season was not on our sides everything else was spectacular from the fresh fish dinner to the amazing live shanty and traditional folk songs sung by Simon and his excellent stories of the areas and families history I'm definitely coming back.

Had the best time fishing with Tusket Island Tours. Caught a ton of fish. The whole experience was personal to what we were looking for and a lot of fun. Exactly what me and a friend were looking for on our vacation. With the addition of the fish fry (which is a must) it felt like hanging after a day on the water at a friends house to eat the spoils of our hard work. Thank you Lucian and staff for an unforgettable experience!!!

Even the initial fog could not dampen this experience. Great guide, Simon also takes care of lunch, entertainment and even a little fishing. Great time - worth the trip from British Columbia. The Tusket Islands are spectacular!

Simon and Jimmy presented a fun and informative tour of the Tusket Islands history and lobster fishing industry. We got a run down on how the traps are hauled and a little info on the lobsters themselves. The tour is on a large wide lobster boat (pretty stable) and runs from Wedgeport around the islands with a short stop on one. You can even book a fish shack (nice cottage) and stay for a night or two. We enjoyed Simon’s seafood chowder, or you can request a head of time to have Râpe pie as an alternative. Simon sings and entertains on the return trip. Great people and a lovely bite into Nova Scotia life.

We took the PERFECT tour with Simon 10/03/20. There was absolutely nothing that I would/could have changed to improve that tour. The weather was as good as one would expect in July, but this was October. The tides lined up perfectly, for us to see all that could be seen. The meal was the BEST seafood chowder that I have ever had!! His musical entertainment was top shelf, as well. Simon knew absolutely everything about the entire local area, and was very happy to share some of these stories with us. Thank you Simon for the perfect tour from both our families, on this wonderful day!! I very highly recommend this amazing tour to all.

I highly recommend Tusket Island Tour for Deep Sea Fishing. It was the best Deep Sea Fishing experience I ever had in Nova Scotia very rich fishing and lobster grounds. Me and my friends caught about 15 fish in our 4.5 h trip in the sea. Cpt. Lucien LeBlanc is a polite, friendly and knowledgeable fisherman who will give you a fishing experience of a lifetime. Bring your smart phone camera and take a lot of photos of your catch in this Deep Sea Fishing Adventure at Tusket Island Tour.

It was such a beautiful day. The guide & captain were very personable, we had a great, relaxing time. The guide, Simon, was very knowledgeable of the area & lobster fishing his relations were/are fisherman. If you are happy to be entertained & cruise on the water, & enjoy seafood chowder this cruise is for you. Once again it is a very relaxing 4 hour cruise. We are going on it again next year when I visit Nova Scotia for sure.

Wow what a day! We went fishing with Tusket Island Tours today! Our tour guide Calvin was exceptional. The kids loved every minute of our fishing expedition. We highly recommend this tour for any level of fishing expertise. This tour is an excellent family adventure! The smiles on the kids faces at the end of day says it all. We cant wait to go again!

My daughter and I had the lucky experience of being the only ones on the tour. I would highly recommend going. Simon was welcoming and prepared an amazing lunch, and afterwards, made us both cry with the songs he sang (because of the fact that they were touching/nostalgic.. not because they were bad!). The information he shared was interesting and informative and it was nice to be able to have so many questions answered. Merci Simon!

The head guide seemed braggadocious, arrogant and self-entitled. Bragged about property owned by his relatives, and pointed it out on the tour. Made some jokes in poor taste, and at the expense of his first mate. Otherwise it was a fine tour.

Arrange a 4 or 6 person tour if you can. We were lucky enough to have that personal touch. I am sure the bigger group tours are also great. The history and family stories added to the package. The young guys running this tour could not have been more friendly or informative. Their communications skills were excellent.
