After waiting unsuccessfully for a Newton Whalley Taxi for over an hour yesterday, I called Surdell Taxi. I wish I had noted the car # because the driver should be commended for giving me such excellent and considerate service. By the time I had called your company and (within 10 mins of my call) the driver arrived, I was cold and in severe pain from waiting in my wheelchair loaded down with my purchases - including a 10 kg bag of road salt, which I had to have on my feet for lack of anywhere else to put it. The driver of the wheelchair taxi was very nice and even put my bags just inside my door. He was very polite and sympathetic to my demise. He picked me up from the Real Canadian Superstore in N Delta. His tie down straps were in proper working order and he seatbelted me without me having to ask him to. He even made sure that my wheelchair was secure. Please extend my gratitude to this driver. It was around 3:30-4:00 pm. I just wish all taxi drivers were that dedicated to their jobs. I use HandiDart all the time and your driver did everything right to make sure I was safe. If you keep having drivers that good, I will be a very loyal customer. Again, thank you to your driver for doing his job properly. I want to add that it was -3° while I was sitting out there in my wheelchair waiting for Newton/Whalley Taxi for over an hour. When your driver showed up promptly, I was cold, in severe pain and grouchy. I told him what happened, and he cranked the heat up for me and was so nice. I immediately told him how grateful I was for how he did whatever he could to make me feel better about my experience. This was Friday afternoon. Thanks again!!

If o could give a 0 o would. I sat at the laundromat for 50 minutes waiting. The first cab didn’t even come to the laundromat and left and I got no phone call. After 20 minutes I called back and the dispatcher told me they would order me another cab due to this. Again 25 minutes later I see my cab pulling out of the plaza (he did not come to the laundromat either parking was empty also did not revive a call) I call back the taxi company telling them to tell him I’m here and he didn’t call to Come back and the cab had picked someone else up. I am so livid. I ALWAYS use this cab company once sometimes twice a day to and from work. the drivers are rude talk on their phone the entire time don’t play music so you have to listen to their conversation and the dispatchers are no help and also rude. They have just lost a valid customer and I rather give my money else where. I’m so disgusted with the customer service and they way the cab drivers/ dispatchers acted.

UPDATE: Took a taxi home today. They were on time and polite. Like I said, you're usually pretty good. Ordinarily, you guys are pretty good about sending a wheelchair accessible vehicle in a reasonable time. However, if you tell me 5-15 minutes but take an hour to show up, do not be surprised if I've called another company and didn't bother cancel my trip with you. Respect earns respect.

They have most number of cabs than any cab company in lower mainland has I think, so service is no doubt quicker. Most of their employees are Indian uncles, they will never have small talks with you, and sometimes you can even expect they will be busy over the phone talking to their friends.There dispatchers don't even say a friendly hello or good morning. Last time I took cab, the driver started arguing and said: 'You tell me which way do you want me to go" when I told him to please make it as soon as he can because I was running late for my school. But after all the ills, this morning I took taxi towards my work, the guy was friendly and made it exactly on time. Thank you SK-409

I am not impressed at all with this company. I pre booked a cab for the next day for 5 pm. It was a Friday night and the Christmas season so I needed to have that assurance that I would have a cab. At 5 am the day of my reservation my phone rang. I answered it and they informed me my cab has arrived. Only 12 hours early. I went out and talked to the driver. I explained the situation and he apologized. He said he will fix it now and call the dispatch. I witnessed him doing this in my driveway. I asked him if I needed to do anything else. He said no it’s been taken care of and I am very sorry. 12 hours later me and my wife are dressed up and ready to leave for our Company Christmas party. My wife, being a little nervous about the cab said maybe I should call them and confirm that it is coming. I did and they said, we see the request but as of yet no driver has accepted the fare. In disbelief I asked how much longer we would have to wait. He says 10-20 minutes. We were ok with that as we were going to be a little early anyway. 15 minutes go by so I called again. They said no, no cab coming we are very busy. I said we had a reservation from yesterday. Yes we understand but we are very busy. It takes quite a lot for me to get mad, but I lost it. We are now officially late and they didn’t seem to care. He suggested we cancel the cab and stop waiting for it as it likely isn’t going to happen anytime soon. I hung up. I quickly called a friend that was going to the same party and lives not to far from us to see if maybe we could share their cab. To late they were on rout already. I had them ask their driver to see if he could get a cab for us. He did and one was here in 10 minutes. I will give a shout out to the Green cab company for getting us there and almost on time as well. As goes for the poorly managed Surdell cab company, I will never use them again. They just don’t care about you. Two ???? down.

Booked online via the app and no tripped clarified it had been booked and called in a cab instead. Two cabs showed up and the other driver attempted to ram his car into ours. Needless to say, never using again. Fix your service! Would rate lower than 1 star if possible. Also to add, was harassed via phone call by the other driver.

Horrendous service. I ve been booking this cab for past 5 years...almost everyother day.. and each and every time I had some issues. A lady at customer service is horrible, very rude..she never let us speak. They always mess up with timings. The drivers over speed most of the time as if they are in F1 race. There was one instance where I was travelling with my kid and the driver asked me to get down at the middle of the road where there were traffic both side.and said my destination arrived. I ve always tried to get hold of the manager or someone who can take action but never I was never able to talk to them, always left voice mail and they neverrrrr get back.i ve had several bad experiences... I wish I give them zero star. I ve started using delta green cab now. They are awesome. Customer service representatives are very gentle and patiently listens to you . Drivers come on time. What else we need.. You guys should def work on improving your service and train your employees to be more sensible and gentle with customers.

I guess if you need a cab in the middle of nowhere cuz you only got 2 seatbelts and there's 3 people and delta cops say 1s walking you can phone these guys . Although it went and put me on hold so i kept walking, not just to distance myself from the cops but so I got closer to the busstop,which I got on . I'm a bit Scottish.

This is an inconsistent and semi-unprofessional taxi company. Gurdeep, our airport cab driver in SK 45 (van) took us from YVR to our house and attempted to scam us. Actually I'll just explain the whole ride here. Beware, it is lengthy but reading about it is worth it in the end. Picking us up: Driver pulls up to the YVR stand and loads our bags. Normal right? Well because of Covid-19 and social distancing guidelines, we all prefer to sit in the backseat separating us from the driver. There was a foldable 3rd row in the van and we asked him a few times to open it and he said something "no someone can sit in the front" but I couldn't understand. So now, one of us needs to go to the front. The guy is also not wearing a mask for the entire journey, and yes there was a mask on his dashboard. I understand there's a barrier there and all the windows were open (thankfully), but it's when someone is sitting next to the driver not separated by a plexiglass (yes, we were all double masked). Driving: As we start to drive he asks us where we are going. Normal right? Not when he doesn't believe us about that there are fixed rates from the airport. As far as I know, airport taxi drivers are supposed to know the YVR flat rates. He was thinking on turning the meter on, but didn't. Luckily one of us in the taxi found the price of our zone on the airport website. Meanwhile he starts going around 70 Km/h (70? I think that's what it was, but either way, pretty fast) in a 50 zone. Additionally attempted to cut people off and minimal road etiquette. Dropping us off: That was fine. The driver gets out of his car and helps us with our luggage and we pay the flat YVR rate for the appropriate zone. Thank you for that. Additional notes: I don't believe the cab was cleaned prior to the start of the trip. Quoted from your website "Our drivers are instructed to disinfect the seats, doors and handles after each trip." I didn't see any electrostatic sprayer, regular sanitizer or disinfectant wipes. I did find a dirty cloth and not even half a bottle of hand sanitizer in the front seat area (please don't tell me the guy cleaned the entire cab with hand sanitizer and his dirty cloth). Furthermore the driver didn't even bother cleaning his car, he just zoomed away. We were not satisfied with our ride and someone could have become nauseous. At least the wifi was working fine. Probably the best thing of the whole ride.

Driver thought I wasn't looking at the meter as he was dropping me off so he quickly turned it off. When he handed me the debit machine the amount was several dollars more. Questioned it and he got flustered and changed it to the amount I said was on the meter. Just another reason why Uber and Lyft is needed so badly. The cab industry is terrible.

THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. except one lady who actually said sorry to me. The people on the phone are so disrespectful. The drivers are creeps and ive had some who have been drunk (ive complained and the operators have hung up the phone). The cabs are disgusting the insides are always ripped up. They do not follow the taxi laws at all!

I had the worst experience ever. The taxi driver arrived at my home at 10:30 in the evening and insulted me by asking why I couldn't just walk to my destination. He called me lazy then he refused to give me the ride. It was a local 5 blocks away from my home, but I had many grocery bags and one elder person with me. He was not right to refuse me the ride. I am also appalled at the company's failure to react when I called the supervisor Don Gilbo the next morning to file a complaint and he did not return my call at all. Please don't ignore this review, it is a warning. I had to call 911 to make this taxi driver back off. He threatened to throw us out on to the street. Let this company know that they cannot treat people this way. Don't give them your business, call another cab company. This happened on January 16, 2022 the car number was SK304. I didn't get the drivers name and I am not going to mention his race because I believe this is wrong. I am not a racist. He should be taken off the road and not be allowed to deal with the public. I feel very strongly about this and I hope noone else has to go through this ordeal. That's all.

This company deserves ZERO stars. I call the dispatch and order a taxi. The dispatcher says “OK the taxi will be there in 5 to 10 minutes”. Now more than 20 minutes have gone by and NO taxi. I call the dispatcher back because now I’m late for my medical appointment and all I’m told is the taxi is on it’s way. The taxi drivers are rude, play their own music/radio and drive with all the windows down when I’ve already asked that the windows be rolled up. Lastly, I called and asked to speak to the manager/supervisor several times and the dispatchers refuse to put me through until I tell them the reason why I want to speak to the supervisor/manager and if I refuse I get hung up on.

Had one of the most decent taxi rides in a long time with Surdell Taxi. Thanks to the driver of Cab #409. The driver was pleasant and personable without attempting to cheat me by taking longer routes. The taxi was clean and service was friendly. Couldn't have asked for better considering the bad reputation and service of other cab companies. Give the driver a well deserved raise.

We took a cab from the airport to our hotel in Vancouver. The driver was #264. I intended on giving him a $5.00 tip but entered $55.00. I didn't notice the mistake. Later that evening I got a call from the front desk saying the driver wants to void the transaction and redo it. I could not believe how honest the driver was. He is to be commended.

Biggest scamming company ever. I took a cab ride home and my trip totalled $15 so I paid the driver a $20 dollar bill with an additional toonie. The driver tried to swap my $20 with a $5 bill and told me I only paid with a $5. But I was confident that I paid a $20 because I never had a $5 to begin with. When I challenged him and told him if he doesn’t believe me let’s call the cops, he freaked and told me to leave. LESSON LEANRED: NEVER TRUST THE DRIVERS HERE.

I called the service at 10:15pm after work, as I am a essential worker. I called 3 times 1st time after 45 min of waiting to confirm the taxi was on it's way. The dispatcher confirmed it was on it's way. Waited 30 more min. Called again. The dispatcher again confirmed the taxi was on it's way. After waiting almost 2 hours. It was 12:15am. I called another company. I would not suggest using this taxi company especially when there are others available.

Awful service, I contacted them to complain about one of their drivers, he came to pick me up with an extra passenger in the front (his cousin) at 10:30pm (what a joke) I give them an address that just exist in New westminster and he assumed that was on Vancouver, after I realized he was going in other directions and I correct him, he took a longer rout. He charged me $80 dlls for a drive that just should be 15 min drive. I talked to the manager about this and 4 day pass and he never got back to me. They give to the driver my phone to call me and he just told me that he tought that the address was in Vancouver and not in New westminster. My specific address just exist in new westminster. They dont use GPS to find the address, they just guess and that cost people money. The driver called to tell me something that I already know, and plus the extra passenger. And the manager confirmed with me that a that time they are not training to bring more ppl in the taxi. Dont use this company!!!!

Professional liars on this company. 10-feb. 2019 call 8:55 for taxi told me they come within 15-20 minutes. All ready more then TWO hour no one showed yet. Sorry but I’ve never dealt with more of a lousy, inconsiderate, unprofessional company than Surdell. My friend Jace, who is in a wheelchair, called a wheelchair accessible cab more than three hours ago. We have been waiting and each time we called to ask the ETA we have only been given snobby attitudes and remarks saying “15 minutes” every single time we call. We were speaking with a male worker and he decided not to be professional, so we then spoke with a female worker who, not surprisingly, did not want to be professional either. Both workers hung up on us, and refused to take our calls. The driver of one of the cabs at Surdell called saying it was here, and when we asked if it was wheelchair accessible he said “no one told him it had to be wheelchair accessible” I asked to speak to a manager and I got lead to a blank voicemail, I left a message…which I’m sure won’t be responded to. Anyways if I can recommend any useful advice, use a different respectful cab company, transit or even an Uber! Save yourself from the rudeness, and don’t bother with Surdell ever again. Google was being nice by giving one star, but if it was my choice…there wouldn’t be any to begin with.

I booked a cab today at around 1.30 pm and requested the person who took the booking to tell the driver to come exactly at 1.30 pm as they come early and keep calling non stop. The person taking the request was extremely rude and didn’t pay any attention to what I said . the driver came at 1.20 and started calling endlessly, when I got into my cab at 1.30 Pm he started complaining about how he was waiting since 10 mins and I reminded him to talk to his employer about the special request i had put in to not reach or call before 1.30 pm After I sat in the cab, the driver kept asking me personal questions even when I refused to answer them, like he asked me where I worked and then asked me how much did my employer pay me. In order to not be rude I said it’s good enough for me and yet he kept asking for what the exact figure of my salary was!!!! And won’t give up Then he went on asking whether I was a student or a PR and what rent I paid and many many personal questions. I told him I wasn’t interested in answering any of them. I called surdell taxi and told them about his behaviour and inquired about why my time led instructions were not conveyed to the driver. The same woman who had taken the phone call earlier spoke very rudely to me and said that if the driver asked you personal questions you should have just not answered them! I told her that basic courtesy was missing and you need to train your drivers to not be impolite but again she didn’t bother and hung up without any remorse. This is the last time I have taken a cab from surdell... thank god lyft and Uber are coming up and till then there are other options available! Bad service and bad bad attitude of the staff! Do not recommend...

Our family dog (who is an emotional support dog) was very sick and we needed transportation to a local veterinarian on very short notice. The driver arrived quickly and got our pet to the veterinarian. After the veterinarian helped our dog, the return transport arrived quickly. Thank you for taking our dog to get help and being kind, courteous and professional.

Always have problems. They have their share of good drivers but they're few and far between. Tonight's Driver drove like a moron... I got motion sickness from him. There are better taxi services, go with those ones. Surprised this company is still running... Not to mention they literally never show up. Everyone is rude (I see those replies below me...). Just... Booked for a 5-seater cab. Operator cancelled on the last minute. Advised to book 2 cabs instead. Had to insist. Operators mostly are not professional to handle calls but our driver Narinder cab 58 made it up for us. Friendly, accomodating and polite.

Frequent taxi user from the airport and my Surdell driver today told me at the end of my trip that the flat rate to my area had increased by $6. Confirmed with the airport authority that this was not the case. Use at your own risk.

My last few experiences with this cab company: They sent a Van both times. I didn't have to ask for one. Both Cabs were very clean. The Driver always greeted me. My only complaint is that when a customer is in a rush they should have the option to pay with their phone. I had to wait several minutes for the driver to reload paper on the pos machine. Also my pickup was late arriving and did not show up at the requested time causing me to be late for work. I suggest you call one to two hours in advance if you need the driver to show up on time.

Ive been in a lot of cabs but this is my first review on one. Had a really nice experience this morning. SK240 picked me up right on time this morning. Cleanest cab I've ever been in. Driver was professional and knew where to go. Overall, I felt safe and secure. The drive was smooth and the driver was knowledgeable regarding traffic and directions.

I never ever complain but lady on the phone was so rude. Called a taxi at 1:33am which ya is late to a location but wasn't there in the time that she said so we called another time then a third time. She said we only called once and would be another 15 mins when she said it was 10-15min at the start. Literally taxi drivers are better but it was just the rude lady on the phone. She needs to check her attitude and not talk to people like they don't know English or can't hear what she's saying.

The most pathetic company ever. I m giving one star so that I can write a review here. Been using this cab service for last few months to get my kids picked up from school so it's 20 dollars four days a week. Today I forgot my phone in the cab and didn't realize that I did. Usually as soon as the cab drops me and my kids back it leaves right away. Today I noticed that the guy waited a little bit which tells me he noticed my phone, but since I didn't know that I left phone there I just wondered why cab hasn't left. He could have told me that u left ur phone but he didn't. Later my husband called and told that my wife left the phone in the cab and the person said we could deliver it but u will be charged or u can pick it up from their office any time. Few hours later he went to get the phone and they refused to give it saying office is closed. Tried to tell the person that he spoke about it earlier and other person said u could get it any time. This girl kept hanging up on him saying sorry there is no way u can pick it up today..nothing we can do. I got little edgy and spoke to the girl when husband came back and she said the same thing. Then asked if they could deliver...bang there she goes yeah we can get it delivered but u will be charged 15 bucks for it. Earlier she was saying no one can go in the office and u can't get it but as soon as we asked to deliver it was no more impossible to get in the office... They were giving us tough time just because they wanted us to pay for delivery..this person made the company lose a daily customer just for 15 dollars.. Could have said first time that we want you to pay for it or u don't get ur phone back. Didn't say in straight words, but that is exactly what it felt to us. Never going to use this cab service ever again. No complaints about the cab drivers that I get usually but the dispatcher I dealt with was pathetic and made company lose a customer.

The WORST cab company ever! Drivers are completely unprofessional. They all have different rules, some refuse to take debit and insist on being paid in cash. A driver told me he was intitled to a tip for making a stop on the way (the meter never stopped running) Best part is when you call the manager will just hang up.

If I could give you 0 stars I would. I ran into my co worker at a store earlier today and she had called a cab from you guys. She told me that she had called and a car was sent then she needed a van because she had her bike and you need to pay an extra $15 for the van. She waited for around half hour since the car was sent first then needed to wait for the van. Cab got there and we finished our conversation and as we were saying goodbye the cab driver yelled at her "HURRY UP!!" mind you we were only talking for not even 2 mins once he pulled up. We both looked at him and he said "we are really busy". That is NO way to talk to a customer who is paying you for your service. You need to teach your drivers about customer service and not being disrespectful to the people who help pay their wages and sometimes even tip them if they give good service. The taxi industry is declining more and more each day and soon enough people will be so unhappy with your service I hope it puts you out of buisness. Ide rather take public transit than be spoken to like that.

Worst operator experience I've had. We called a cab 2:30 This lady picked up the phone and I told her my address. 10 or so mins go by and the cab calls us, we go outside, no cab. So we call back and I tell her my address and she says I never gave her that one yet I gave her a different one. I apologize and say she may have misheard or I may have said it sloppy or whatnot. She then says shell send another one which she doesn't so I call back after 20 mins and she says we no showed. I'm furious. I call a different cab and she ratted on us and she told them we were no showing. I've read a few reviews mentioning a lady around this time.

I used this company’s service several times. Most of the drivers asked me to pay the fee in cash, not by card. And their request makes me feel extremely uncomfortable. Other than that, they arrive on time. Get to the destination fast.

Cab 45 asked me to take his number and call him whenever i need to go long distance which is so weird as a lady customer i dont like getting my number asked but otherwise i use this company everyday and all drivers and very nice and professional never had any problems

They never show up on time or the cab has been canceled. Or when you tell the dispatch the address and how to get there they do not relay the message to the driver he ends up being a block away. Talking on the phone the whole time. Not wearing there seat belts.The other night I took a taxi home he was not where he was supposed to be. I ended up walking a block in the rain to find him. I told where I was going and we left to busy trying find what ever was between the seats that he lost control of the car and ended up on the sidewalk and then crashed back down to the road. I was in a hit and run that smashed my leg I have plates and screws holding it all together, I had finally managed the pain that I will live with as long as I live with the jolt of the car it has restarted the pain in the leg and is swollen. I will never use Surdel ever again.

Beware when booking for late night airport past 12. I booked my taxi way in advance in the morning at 10am the day prior for a pickup at 2.30am from surrey central to yvr. They also confirmed during the booking that the taxi will be there. But at 2.30am, no one showed up. I tried reaching their phone at 2.30am to check what time the taxi will arrive and no one answered. 30 mins later, the taxi arrived and the driver wasn’t even apologetic for being late. I did take the ride eventually as I had no other mode of travel options to YVR. The driver informed me that their call centre didn’t inform him my ride was to yvr, else he would have made sure to be on time. This company is very unprofessional and unrealizable and I do not recommend their service.

Couldn't even get them to answer the phone, and when they finally did, they just hung up on me. Ok, great. Hopefully this will make you realise that you need better staff. Or how about more staff? Or maybe advertise your app more? I understand overworked and understaffed but the solutions are there, just need to find them and budget for it. If not, you end up losing all staff as they find work where it's not as stressful.

Waited 2 and a half hours on Sunday evening. First call told me 15-20 minutes. Ok 45 minutes later call again they say drivers en route 15 minutes. Hour later call back, same response. 15 minutes. I yell over the phone at them telling them I've heard this already.when finally driver shows up 30 minutes later. Driver asked for address 3 times before he finally put in in GPS

Why you should use Uber instead! Scheduled a cab and asked for a quote. I was forgotten by the company, and tooo me another 10 minutes to get a new cab to show up and it was reading 3.33cad at the time I boarded and then proceeded to take the 2nd longest route to the airport. Do they not know passengers have Google maps in our phones? Or do they think we are dumb? Poor poor service! Did I mentioned he left me in the wrong terminal? So much fun!

I usually order cab to this company but the incident that happened last time will be the last! You’re cab number #95 was so rude! He was rushing me to put all my things in his trunk not considering I have my kids and an elderly with me! He even was complaining about dropping me off at my place. Usually I don’t have any problem with the other drivers But this one is the worst! It will be the last for me! Never again!!!!!!

After a long day and the worst day of all as weather goes, I needed to get a cab to go somewhere I needed to be. Of all the "five star places" I asked for cabs, I was denied, hung up on, blasted the fax noise in my ear, made me wait an hour to see if by calling back there were cars available, only to be told they didn't have in my area, and i had enough of their BS! I decided to try one last time on another company and when I called SURDELL TAXI, the lady was VERY nice, immediately she said, "sure we have cars" and in matter of not even five min, the CAB was at my door! Talk about Efficiency and in the worst weather ever of snow! Cab driver was ok, not seem very easy to establish conversation with, but I figure, maybe he was the quiet type, So, no big deal on that. I don't know why they have bad reviews, I honestly recommend them. Thank YOU Thank YOU! This is a real review from a very satisfied new costumer. I know who to call whenever I need from now on.

I AGREE WITH ALL THE MANY, MANY BAD REVIEWS (these super BAD reviews DON'T surprise me): This is for the most part a truly, UNPROFESSIONAL TAXI SERVICE. I have to look into UBER - and see how it works, etc..? I know some people who use Uber alot. IN INDIA & FOREIGN COUNTRIES: THEY SCAM TOURISTS BY TAKING THE LONG ROUTE AND GO IN CIRCLES FOR MORE MONEY. (Don't give them your address only directions!). If I could give them a ZERO STAR, I would, indeed... !!!!!!!!! 1) Once I waited in the cold snow about 30 minutes and they did NOT phone me back even to tell me about the delay and LIED about it. 2) Once their Driver scammed me out of $5.00 in change from a $20 bill for a $10. ride., he was NOT paying me back my balance due, so I sat there and still he kept part of it and SCAMMED ME. 3) Sometimes are very rude and UNHELPFUL with Groceries, etc... Its usually 'INDIAN-Service', people; NOT to be racist but I found it in them in general, more so than other races; however, sometimes on a RARE occasion I get a NICE Indian driver, who's helpful and kind, then I tip him, to be fair and honest. 4) Sometimes they are very late, etc.. 5) or they bring around a VAN which i never ordered - I cannot climb easily in or out of it, etc.. EVEN DISPATCH IS JUST AS BAD AND LIES, ETC.. 6) Sometimes, they DON'T turn their METER on and pocket the Cash! I have to try other Taxi services from now on. There should be some type of complaint system to Government or Province regulations in this matter... There are Handicapped, Seniors, Poor & others who require transportation, right. OR I WILL TRY UBER AND other types of driver services ... i will look into it now. Thx.

Had a wonderful experience with cab sk-240, a rare thing in my experience for greater Vancouver taxi's. He was polite and courteous got me where I needed and assisted me with my mobility needs as I use a wheelchair. Highly recommend, I wish i got service half as good other places.

I appreciate that I get cab on time with prebooking everyday but yesterday was terrible a day as going back home form Burnaby a driver take me through a longgggg way which I haven’t ever been through even. I was picking up a surdel taxi today at king George station and was denied a paid ride by a driver due to my location. I advised I would pay of course but because I didn't have physical cash and the ride was a 5 minute drive to my house I was told to find another taxi. I needed the ride home due to ankle injury. I specifically stated that I would pay credit or debit. I was told by the driver if I didn't have cash then he would not drive me that close. Do you have any idea how illegal that is? I will also be contacting the union about this. Unfortunately he was one of two taxi drivers that refused to drive me because I could pay by card not cash so they couldn't pocket the money. You should be ashamed of yourselves Please note I have formally sent a complaint to both the BC taxi association and to consumer bc as they enforce the taxi bill of rights which specifically States that its illegal and against bylaws to deny a short fare if it's not in violation of any other laws. Which my fare was not.

Worst experience , Driver with car #20, Wednesday evening Oct 27, 2021, charged my son extra $5, (14 years) I discover it and I called the office, I was asked to speak with the manager and he said I will get back to you, I called Saturday oct 30th, and dropped a voice message for him, he refused to reply me, I called the office again this morning Nov 1st and all he has to said is the driver told him the fare was $6 and my Son decided to add $5 extra for him, How on earth is that possible mr manager...? You are yet to answer my question! Lies from the pit of HELL!! My son used card and not cash! You encouraged your driver to steal from me, even as I’m typing this, the manager has refused to apologize for the drivers misconduct. I only patronize you, I didn’t commit any crime for doing that. That wasn’t the first time I’m using you guys, but I’m pretty sure its will be the last time. You are wicked, heartless. I’m sharing my experience here so others will not be a victim. I’m really hurt, always remember that you and that driver stole from me and you guys are owing me $5. You deserved everything I typed here, that’s because you refused to settle it amicably instead you were busy defending your driver. He might not be lucky as this next time, he will surely meet someone else that is stronger than him. Karma is real!

Called for a van at 2:09pm and it is now 4:46pm and still no van. An hour into waiting they sent a regular cab even though we requested a van. When I called dispatch to let them know the lady laughed and said she'll call another cab to me. 45 minutes go by and my boyfriend calls to see where it is. We've been waiting for nearly 3 hours for a van. The lady keeps saying it'll be 5 more minutes. Please be honest with the times and if there's no van in the area and you need to request one to come back then let the customer know.

Came in our premises didn't follow the rules posted. It was 10km and he drove at 50 kms. This is how your professional services are given. A kid was standing inside curb but could have entered anytime after confronting him he said not to teach him. Rude very ruthlessness

Driver demanded 55$ for a ride that's 36$ on a bad day... I refused and only wanted to give him 35 since there was no traffic... He started yelling and dropped me off half way to my destination in the rain. He refused to start the meter and wanted to do flat rate 55$ when he originally accepted my 35$.. this was at 1 a.m. I was trying to get home in the cold.

I called a taxi for a customer and provided the address for the business. The dispatcher told me it wasn't a valid address, I said it was. They sent the driver to the incorrect address anyway. I had to call a different taxi who took down the right address and finally my customer got a taxi home.

I have used this cab company lots over the last 2 years no complaints, but I am not sure what's happening. I call and no cab shows up I wait 15 to 20 mins call back they tell me I didn't call them, that someone else took my cab etc I have to call 45 min before I plan on getting the cab which is really sad. I might as well take a bus.
