I received a Xmas gift of slippers from here. They were $120, an exorbitant amount for a stitched hard sole. They were to small so I took them back to exchange. The ones I had were a medium, so the next one up is a large and that was to big. (you would think for that kind of money they would be sized to fit). No other slippers there so asked for a refund. Not getting one as he said credit only.. There is nothing I need in a travel store but I would like slippers. Do not shop here unless your sure you won't have to return.

Long story.........My wife and I recently went shopping for luggage. Tried the usual suspects, Bentley, The Bay, Samsonite outlet store. Bought and returned several items. We were about to give up and make do with our old stuff......Then we remembered "Going Places". off we went, not expecting too much but we came away with a top end set of Briggs and Riley luggage for each of us. The staff were wonderful, the prices??? Same as online! Cant beat that for a local store. We will be back for all our bits and pieces as they have everything there. Wish we had gone there first. Mark us lifetime customers. I think a website would be wonderful guys!!

Going Places is our now our 1st stop before any travel. Since our last visit, this local owner is now stocking a better selection and all quality products. The prices are fair and we found what we were looking for. Also noticed a great selection of lady's handbags, all quality bags, all real leather and a variety of sizes. Thanks for that .....

A convenient local shop well placed in the mall. Good access and good parking. Selection is varied but often older pieces. Staff are very very helpful and are come up with novel ideas. Perhaps a little pricey for what you are purchasing.
