Good starting place for visitors that houses a Timmies, souvenir shop, book shop, bathrooms, and a few benches. The visitors centre specifically gives tours if you book them to show you around campus.

Very helpful and enthusiastic volunteers and staff. Waterloo merchandise store has a large variety of apparel and accessories with some cool designs. Prices are just worth it and Tim Hortons is sometimes crowded but always has fast service.

Will encourage everyone one who has a kid in grade 10 or above and interested in science or technology to take the tour. And if you are talking it in Winter, dress warm.

The tour was really well explained. I did my own tour later and wondered why the most upgraded buildings were not shown? (I.e. Engineering 5,6,7)... I would have liked to see coffee/tea for parents visiting the University as a welcoming gesture. The visitor centre can use some love on the outside just to give a good impresión of the University ( flowers, clean entrance, clean glass doors, etc....) The tour guide was excellent.

What a great University! We spent there the fall open day. It was very informative, the professors we're everywhere ready to answer every question. Students were helpful showing us around the dorms. Above all, Waterloo is ranked as one of the best CS and Math schools in the world.

Institution with diversity of knowledge streams. Large number of streams, focused divisions, and the feel of to excel. Campus is huge and no wonder one will feel lost and overwhelmed. Parking was not too bad and expensive. Many faculties. At once felt to get in university again. ????. Streams like Environmental sciences and if i am not wrong a nuclear reactor was good to note. All this in 1 hour visit. Worth visiting.
