I just completed the new Kitchener Got the Blues walk. Glenn was a wealth of knowledge about the music scene downtown Kitchener. He had so many inside and backstage stories from his many years in the business. I was surprised at how many big names came to Kitchener. Getting into the Reverberations exhibit at the Museum was a great added bonus. I would highly recommend this walk and the many others Stroll has on offer.

Black Presence in Berlin was a wonderful experience. Our tour guide, Peggy Plet, was so incredibly knowledgeable, and she made it possible for us to picture the people, places and events of the past. There's so much history in our region that has been ignored or forgotten. Tours like this bring it back to life.

Juanita was an excellent guide. She taught us about so many different murals in downtown Kitchener and really demonstrated a passion for discovering the story behind each one. My favourites were those that had hidden gems referencing other murals (I won't spoil which ones!). I can't wait to try the other Stroll tours and see what else there is to learn about KW!

I've always thought it was important for a city to have walking tours, and was so pleased to hear about Stroll. I went on my first tour with them, and amazingly they exceeded my high hopes for a local walking tour. The guide had clearly done deep research in local archives and connected houses and buildings on our tour with stories of individuals who lived in our city in the past. It was eye opening to learn more about the effects of the 1918 pandemic on our own city, and see real life artifacts that extend from that period to today. I'm excited to go on more tours with Stroll, and recommend it to every person living in town.

A wonderful experience. A great way to connect with friends while learning fascinating history. Just the right amount of walking. The guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and very open to conversation/digression, but still kept on track. We would definitely do this again.

Our small group really enjoyed walking with our guide, Todd, and listening to his informative description of local landmarks and the people stories from WWI that are associated with them. He talked about women, men, influential and ordinary folk, giving us a comprehensive look at the war from all genders, classes and beliefs. We also appreciated Juanita dropping around and greeting us, it was nice to touch base with her. I would highly recommend this walk. Some of the other walks looks inviting too!

I have just finished my third walking tour with Stroll Walking Tours. Each one was unique, informative, and fascinating. Juanita has created the perfect mix of storytelling and strolling, leaving me with a greater appreciation for the history (near and far) of Waterloo Region.
