The kids really enjoyed this, even though it is outdoor only due to covid protocol. They have been playing the seek app in the park, and so the Nature Center gave them a bunch of live specimens to catalog.

Ontario Parks is profoundly underfunded, but the staff make due with what they have. Overall the nature centre is very informative and worth making the trip to if you're already in the park.

Didnt go inside this trip but have before. It was interactive before Covid but still is interesting to learn about the native animals & habitat

A nice pit stop on the way to the lighthouse. The staff and volunteers are more than eager to explain the park's local fauna and flora. A bit old school in presentation but lots of interesting and informative diagrams about Lake Ontario including its deepest point just off the peninsula. Also some live specimens like snakes, fish, and frogs.

Fairly rundown but that made it pretty charming. The staff were so enthusiastic and the little centre, it was great.

Hit the trails today and it was such a beautiful walk. So many varieties of mushrooms ????.

We didn’t plan to visit but just happened to pass by so we visited. It was to our surprise that there are many specimen and some animals showing in the nature centre. I would recommend you stop by whenever it’s open. It’s a great way to learn and see how the park evolve over the years and local species. The 3 owls in the picture are over 200 years already! Such an amazing “art”!
