Excellent cruise. This is a must do activity at soo locks. They explain everything that you see along the journey and take you up through the locks to lake superior and bring you back to the lake Huron dock. We saw a couple of 1000 ft freightliners. Awesome to see them up close. The staff is very informative and friendly. We are free to move around the boat during the journey. Friendly waves to the people watching from the visitor gallery was nice. Total duration was about 1.75 hrs.. worth the experience. Highly recommended

As I said about the soo locks, the boat ride was a bit chilly with the wind blowing, suggest bringing our wearing cool weather clothes, maybe a small enclosed bag with a drink or snacks or money for snacks or drinks, that's a tour guide book, but it's a bit pricey. It's overall a wonderful tour, the staff on board was awesome, very friendly, and it's up to you on whether you want to wear masks or not, but not required.

We had a real great tour of the McArthur lock and locks area. Unfortunately with the current travel restrictions that Canada has in place we were not allowed into Canadian waters or the Canadian locks. The tour boat was in great condition and the crew pleasant and accommodating.

Great! Friendly people, the narration was interesting but not intrusive, you can buy tickets online without a specific time, and shockingly the prices of consessions and souvenirs were very reasonable! We paid $1.50 for hot chocolate and $1 for 2 small bags of cheetos. Definitely a nice tour.

Seemed like the less popular tour, but we gave it a try. Plus there was a discount on DOCK #1 with the brochure. It was 100% worth it!! The advertised 1 3/4 hour tour was 2+ hours. The crew were great. We would definitely do this tour again!

When we come to Sault St. Marie, we always make it a point to ride the Original Soo Locks boat tours. Come visit them at Dock#1. The staff, the Captain,and the crew are very friendly,and receptive to all questions. It is a great time to be on the water with them .Enjoy!

This is an informative tour with a pleasant crew. Our tour was cut short due to ship traffic and getting through the locks without a long delay. The technology that has gone into making ship transportation possible here is amazing! The narration is easier to hear if you're on the upper deck, due to the engine noise. If you do use the lower deck, I'd suggest getting closer or below a speaker.

I have taken the lock cruise on several occasions over the years and have not been disappointed until now. Because of some kind of brew-ha-ha with the Can. Govt the tour does not traverse the Canadian lock, visit the steel mill or travel the upper harbor. I know its not the fault of Soo Locks Cruises, but they should let potential customers know about the changes. The responder apparently did not thoroughly read my review, that clearly stated the issue with the Canadians and did not answer my question about letting customers know about the change.

It was an amazing experience I hadn't done the tour since I was in high school and was amazed how much had changed and also how much hadn't. Captain Sully was awesome you can tell he loves what he does and Jan at the ticket office is a true delight. It was a perfect adventure to go one with my sister while she was visiting from Colorado.

Had a delay while waiting and watching the train bridge on the Canadian side swing out. Poe lock opened up and we were in business again. Our crew was great! Get your tickets and come aboard.

Very cool trip into the locks. Interesting technology. Only complaint was the narrator voice and speaker system was difficult to understand. We even moved around to find a better place but couldn't find any where you could clearly make out the presentation.
