We went to see Edward at Edge immigration looking for advice on what sort of Visa I could apply for. He offered free and straight forward advice as opposed to other companies within the city that want hundreds of dollars for an hour of their time. Between Ed and Kiera we had a painless and relatively short road to my visa and with their help I am now a permanent resident of Canada. Best Immigration lawyer I ever come across. 7 yrs ago Mr. Ryan did my Permanent Resident application this was approve Feb. of 2016. I have not contacted his office since 2017 because I had no need to. Last week I called him to get some info. I said this is Terri-ann Hylton you may not remember me. He said "of course Ms. Jamaica also (quoting the year I was born)". He was asking me about my spousal situation back then remembering every detail. For the first time I finally understand how he maintains an approval rate of over 95%.

I had a consultation call with Ed Ryan. He lacks verbal communication skills and is rude when answering questions. He was in an extreme hurry (even though I had asked him if it was a good time to talk). If a consultation was done in such hurry then I don't know how much time he would spend on actual files to ensure accuracy.

Used the services in 2018 and everyone was great and professional. The team informed me that I can request any documents from them for a few more years after doing the service. I’m not sure what happened in the past few years but clearly their customer service approach has changed. I sent an email 3 weeks ago requesting some documents. Today I have called to follow up because there has been to response for 3 weeks. The receptionist had zero interest in help me. She said “just wait for your response”. I mentioned that it has been 3 weeks and asked to prioritize this task since It’s a time sensitive request. Her response was “ because your email was not open we didn’t get back to you. Just wait for your response.” Like what?! No apology for waiting that long, no even a friendly voice. She said they need to check it in the basement and then scan It. I’m sorry, I don’t work there, I don’t need to know the details of where you keep my files. I need to make sure that if for some reason the company delays to deliver a request I get a sincere apology or an explanation why it takes a long time. And a promise to prioritize this task. I was so shocked by her responses and unwilling to help that I had nothing else to add except “ thanks” . And guess what, she HANG UP ON ME without saying anything else! This happened today 06/01/2021. Please follow up with a receptionist who answers phone calls. I normally don’t write reviews like this but this situation made me feel so frustrated. Customers pay for your services that aren’t cheap. The least you can do is to provide some basic customer service.

Ed is awesome and very professional. He knows his stuff very well and is a straight shooter with a bit sense of humour. He does what’s in the clients best interest. It was a bit hard to get hold of him sometimes as he’s so busy but sth urgent regarding my application came up, he prioritized my case to make sure mine was well taken care of first and did his best to straighten things out for me, by which I was quite impressed. Ed has several assistants...I got a lady to handle my application in the beginning and she’s not that great but the good thing is she no longer works for Ed. Then I got a guy and he’s good. So it depends. Overall, had great experience with him and his team and very happy with the service and knowledge they provided. Last but not least, their rates are very competitive too! I feel like my money was totally worth it. Highly recommend Ed to whoever is looking for an RCIC.

I went to see Ed for advice regarding what options do I have to file my PR. He helped me out without any charges. Few months later, I filed my express entry through edge immigration. Sanpreet worked on my file . All the work was done really quickly and he took care of everything even the minor details on the file. I also applied for my BOWP through him.
