We had a wonderful time on l’île d’Orleans talking with Brigitte Bouchard at the tourist center. She was very knowledgeable about the island and showed us on a map exactly which places were open in this off season. When I told her I was here in an attempt to improve my French she spoke clearly and more slowly to help me understand and that was greatly appreciated. We made our trip around the island and then stopped in the office again to ask all the questions that our drive had prompted. And Brigitte had all the answers! Staff is super friendly For any new comers to Quebec city and the island, make sure to visit this place first.
