Great family run farm!
Loved their maple syrup..
Great little store that's part of the farm. Friendly and helpful staff.
Ordered for the first time today. The wood is dry, nice variety of sizes and great service. Will certainly use this company in the future.
Visited the gift shop...Very limited selection. Quite a contrast from the Google Street view virtual tour I saw before visiting. Was bit of a let down. Prices of what they did have were a bit high as well. The girl who waited on me was friendly and allowed me to sample different flavours of maple syrups. Beautiful farm as well. Because I live about an hour away and based on the 'just okay' experience not sure if I'd make another special trip to come back here.
My absolute favourite maple syrup around. I've only been purchasing maple syrup from here for years. Always friendly service. Lots of other tasty treats in the store too. Also the egg program is great. No better maple syrup in my opinion!
Yummy maple syrup the best
Very fun and informative tour, given to us by the actual owners of the farm. Going out into the sugar bush was very cool, even though we were three adults. Friendly and knowledgeable staff, and very very tasty products. We also had a very excellent picnic after the tour. In fact I'm sitting here writing this over my delicious butter tart and maple iced tea. Highly recommend!!
Restaurant closed, which was disappointing, but they have a nice dog there. I like that dog.
(Translated) Amazing place ???? (Original) Increíble lugar ????
Nice area to go explore !
Great place to go to during March break, take a ride through the sugar bush and have some pancakes and maple syrup
Well we had a very pleasant experience on this place! The girl that received us was very kind and showed us around even if we were there before closing time! This family owned farm it is always a great idea to visit! They have a lot of good products to sell .
Amazing experience. We got a tour from the college, the tour guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. We got to make our own maple candy on the ice. Worth to visit and see all the process of making maple syrup starting from the collecting the juice to the final product.
We had a great time yesterday at the Sugar Bush! We drove up from Buffalo and was worth the drive! It’s only 30 minutes from NOTL and countless wineries in the 20 Valley so it’s not far from town to make a whole day out of it! We had Carol as our guide and she was AWESOME! Another guide Luc was great too! For $15 you get a souvenir log cutting, tractor ride and syrup tastings on ice!
Maple farm, niceeeee
I am not sure that there are any negative things to say. We were given a tour by one of the owners of the farm and he was so excited to talk about maple syrup you could hear it in his voice and how passionate he was about the farm. He was VERY willing to answer any questions we had and had an answer to all of them no matter how technical ! We made maple syrup candies which are amazing and got to try all grade of maple syrup. We ended at the sweet shop where after tasting the syrup we were able to by some. This place is amazing and I will surely come back ! You guys rock!
Awesome place to go, the pancake house has closed but the maple syrup is always perfect.
We did the tour today and it was a really great experience. The man giving the tour was really friendly and very knowledgeable. Even with the rain we all had fun. The took some of the syrup and put it on ice and gave us sticks to wrap it on it was awesome!!!! Go check them out the syrup is awesome they have a shop on site and one in the falls casino.
We ordered their picnic lunch and ate down by the stream. Great experience. Very good food. Excellent service.
Arrived only to find you closed. Google shows open till 5pm, Your own website shows open till 4pm, but upon arrival the sign said you closed at 330pm
We drove all the way breakfast only to find they closed it for season 2016! Should have checked their website I guess. This Google needs to update that breakfast is no longer served. Sugarbush tours only.
Hands down my favourite place for maple syrup. I've been coming here for years and routinely make a stop when I'm in the area.
Great experience with kids for good learning experience
Neat place that grows, harvest and processes their own maple trees into all different flavors of syrup. The store allows you to taste the flavors at the counter. You can also learn about the process and see the difference of color and flavor in the maple depending when it was harvested.
Beautiful place awesome maple syrup and complete method how maple syrup is made
Of all the local sugar bushes in the Niagara region White Meadows Farms has one of the best reputations for entertaining and educating visitors. They have fun activities for families and school groups in all seasons and are known for their famous "Pancake Breakfast".
It's very pricy!
We love buying our syrup from White Medows. We always buy the extra dark, we think it's more flavorful. We always buy large jug pour some into a smaller jar for the fridge and the rest goes into the freezer until we need it. Great place
The Maple Syrup, The Staff, The Sugar bush all amazing. Try their Taffy on Snow!!
Delicious syrup! Friendly staff! Very informative

We missed the tour unfortunately but lady in the little shop gave us a tasting and explained the differences Nut brittle was excellent
Great maple syrup. This is located in the falls casino.
We visited White Meadows on March, 25, 2015. We wanted to buy some maple syrup and wanted try some samples. The lady behind the counter looked busy but had no time for us. When we asked for some samples we got "nope, can't do that." we were very displeased. One of the other employees came in and the lady behind the counter told her to give us the samples. She only gave one spoon to one person so the rest of us just stood there. And she wasn't very polite and kind. Will not be coming back.
Tour guide was great and syrup was delicious
Amazing place for a picnic❤ the table and the picnic basket need to be booked in advance on the White Meadows Farm's website????
Cute warm and friendly
It's a great place to go with the family. Especially during the Maple syrup season. They have a great little Maple store, where you can buy syrup, candy, snacks, even smoked meat. everyone there is very friendly and are willing to help And answer questions. The maple season, weather permitting, friends between mid-march and mid-april.
Amazing Maple tarts!!!
Great products and where else can you take overseas guests to do a maple syrup tasting?
Absolutely in love with this place!! Came here one winter and was blown away by the experience. From getting to try Maple syrup taffy made in the snow, to walking the long winding trails, and my favourite part; the horse and carriage ride!! The tractor ride to and fro was also great fun as on the return journey it was struggling on the incline in the snow and made the short distance very exciting for all!!
Went for breakfast after boyfriend accidentally came about this place on one of his hikes with the dog- brought the kids and left stuffed- didn't take a tour of the grounds as the maple hadn't started flowing but stopped in the store to grab some of delicious maple baked beans for home!! Decent prices and friendly staff- tons of parking and the wait to get in the dining room was nothing compared to most restaurants at breakfast time- We'll be back again for sure!!!
The shop has a variety of products to choose from made on the farm. Staff is super friendly and helpful. They offer tours and other events throughout the year. They also opened up a new store at Niagara on the Lake. …
Fun morning for kids. Great little activities and experiences.
Amazing maple syrup farm, 4th generation and run by wonderful people. Definitely worth taking your family to.
We stopped here on our way from Toronto to Niagara Falls, so this gave us a "side roads" route for part of the way, and the woman in the shop told us the shortcut via Route 20 to get to Niagara so we didn't have to go back to the QE highway. The gift shop was pricey but what places aren't; They did have quite a good range of "maple" products--cookies, candies, granola, coloring books for kids, plus a bunch of other items, as well as like 10 different grades of syrup. For me, this worked out well as a place to buy souvenirs--again, not the cheapest place but because of the range of prices, and the range of products, and the quality--I was able to buy souvenirs for a lot of different people from one shop. I was glad we stopped and would recommend this place to other travelers.
(Translated) Good place to visit, good snack (Original) Buen lugar para visitar, buena botana
Friendly staff, awesome maple syrup
Maple syrup store, and bush tours
Love this place
Great tour!! Sweet shop is so cute!
Really nice place to go to if you want to try different maple syrop flavours. Also they give you a tour around maple bushes. Very nice people, great atmosphere!recommened to everyone!
Mapley experience
Got some honey and maple syrup from here family friendly and good price everyone was very nice deff going back soon
Great sugar bush. Fun covered wagon ride so you're covered from the elements. Tour takes you to different stations and teaches you about the maple syrup process. At the end, you get to have fresh, warm maple taffy on snow. You can also saw off a piece of log that gets branded with the year for a free souvenir. At the beginning, there's a petting zoo where you can feed the animals. Also, a firing shack where they cook the maple syrup and you can go in for information and tastings. The only reason I don't give 5 stars is because they no longer have the pancake house. We prefer to go and have pancakes as a part of the trip. They used to have the restaurant open but it's closed now.
This place was amazing the tour was filly immersive. The tour guides were great and kept my daughter fully engaged. The kids got to keep things that they made and the staff were very informative about how maple syrup is made
The owner was the one who did the tour and he was really kind and accomodating to us. Informative and i enjoyed the place and the tour specially the wagon ride to the maple forest.
A great place to visit at any time and with anyone! The tour was great and the maple shop is amazing with lots of different products to choose from!
Had a great tour, breakfast, learning experience, and made memories with my family!
This place is run by one of the most friendly and welcoming families in Canada. We stumbled across it after a trip to Niagra Falls. Murray and his family went out of their way to explain the whole maple syrup process to us and made a memory that will likely last my children's entire lives! Definitely worth a visit ... Oh, and their maple syrup is absolutely delicious ... obviously!!
Love coming here with friends and family! The products in store are delicuous! Picked up the bbq sauce for ribs and it was dynamite!
Awesome place for a visit and breakfast!
Nice place to visit with a selection of maple syrup. They comes in different colour and tastes.
Originally bought this syrup at the Niagara Falls location (Fallsview Casino) and really enjoyed the taste and came for more. Small boutique store here at White Meadows Farms and the staff were friendly. I got a larger size this time still in the Golden flavour which is really good on waffles and egos for breakfast.
Great staff...great family fun...Awesome place
Love this little local gem!! Such variety of treats and snacks.
Thank you for this amazing experience.nice place nice people..tasting maple syrup was really good..also they tell you some things about their production...worthy..must visit place
Love it there! We bought a lot of gift for our family, will definitely go back. Love their petting zoo too.
Delicious maple candy and maple butter! Definitely stop in!
Just got home from the campout lunch and it was fantastic! The food was delicious and they did an incredible job keeping the fires going in spite of a very rainy day. This is one experience you don't want to miss!
We enjoyed very much the picnic. Everything in the basket was very tasty. The owner and staff were very friendly. We are definitely going to repeat this experience!
Awesome place! And good prices for maple syrup products
Fantastic maple syrup, and good prices
I like the white Meadows farm syrup
Okay, if you happened to be in St. Catherines, Ontario Canada and is looking for something educational then this place is a must. I had so much fun listening to the farm owner talking about how this business was all started. The place is also referred to the one that lots of school students go to for their field study. I think it was a part of their curriculum if I'm not mistaken. If you can go in a group that would be better I would say. The place is pretty remote to the northern part of St. Catherines so public transport there unless you need to drive on your own or rent a tour car. The place is spacious and the owner is all so nice and friendly. We went to the barn first to check out the syrup making process and he explained in very detail description. So much fun. We went to the farm afterward in a tractor. Yes, they're bringing you to the farm by the tractor. It's soooooo much fun. The best time to visit? They said around Feb March April when they're harvesting. At the farm, we learn how to make this maple candy? Idk what to call it but you pour the raw maple syrup and put the stick on the snow and boooom, the candy is ready and it's super sweet. they also explain you different types of trees there. It was truly fantastic. One of my fave is when at the end, they get us to try different types of maple syrup. Not sure about the pricing for admission but pretty sure you can check out all of it in their website.
Had a great time seeing and learning the whole process of making maple syrup. Great experience
Great maple products and friendly people! We'll go back again in the spring for a tour of the sugar bush.
Amazing product prices a bit high but willing to pay for local product the maple coffee is a must buy
Have been with my family. Amazing experience. Highly recommended
Try the maple ice cream or (my favorite) the maple butter tarts! Need more? How about maple mustard, maple vinegar or red pepper jelly. You'll thank me later...
Who doesn't love maple? Why not get it right from the source? All types of products in store.
Very friendly and informative place, delicious products that make great gifts!
Review is for the shop only. Had a nice experience here. Picked up fresh eggs, a couple of bottles of maple syrup, and maple baked beans. The staff was polite and helpful. It would be nice it they offered samples of the various syrups so you could taste the difference between the colors before buying.
Loved this place. Very generous hosts, Great way to connect with nature.
Beautiful location, great maple syrup :)
(Translated) Interesting place. You can get to know the process in a special room, but I had no one to explain. It is not possible to know the maple plantation. (Original) Lugar interessante. Dá para conhecer o processo numa sala especial, mas não tinha ninguém para explicar. Não é possível conhecer a plantação de bordos.
The gift shop staff welcoming and helpful. The shelves were well stocked with plenty of maple goodies.
Had an amazing time at the Sugar Bush Campout lunch! It was a rainy day, but everything was so well done - and the food was amazing! The hot food was steaming hot, kept that way in a special container. The maple syrup 'tasting flight' was so delicious, and it was hard to choose our favourite sauce, going along with beautiful cheese. Whiskey bread pudding - so good! It was such a nice time around a fire. All safe, excellent COVID protocols and super hospitality. Definitely recommend!
Best maple sugar tour and tasting around. Educational and tasty.
Excellent product
White Meadows is a great place to visit no matter the time of year. There's usually a few animals in the barn to feed right up close. The Pancake House is something to experience at least once or twice. It's simple community breakfast that feels more like the 50's than 2016. Everybody eating together in a huge log building. The sugar shack is obviously the star. Maple EVERYTHING. Sugar, sausages, brittle, cookies, syrup, popcorn, you name it and they've mapleized it. In late fall and early winter they Sugar Bush hike is a lot of family fun that doesn't involve sitting and watching a screen.
Attended Monday March 12th. I have been attending White Meadows for 17 years and every year it gets a little more bland. It was bad enough that the restaurant closed a few years back - but now the tours are way too structured. In the past there would be lots of young students dressed in period clothes at the different exhibits. It was super fun and interactive. Now there are a few staff hanging around but mostly just following the guide. Not perfect for families with lots of kids that need to move at a different pace or would like to spend longer at a specific exhibit asking questions. The tours cost enough that we shouldn't feel rushed or left behind. We used to have so much fun on our trips to White Meadows - which was nice because it's a small fortune for a whole family to attend - but now I'm certain that it's not worth the money. It's been a sad 4 years watching the tourist attractions of this great farm get cut back further and further.
Maple never tasted so good
Amazing place! The tour and guide were absolutely lovely. Richard told us the history of the area, we went deep into the woods, and he was extremely friendly all around. We got to make taffy on ice, tried the different syrups, and learned the process. Adults and kids of all ages will benefit and have fun here! I encourage everyone to try it out! The shop has some really cool and delicious stuff as well.
Good place to buy maple, but little expensive
Beautiful late September day on the farm. We did the tour which included a 10 minute tractor ride down to the sugar bush. We also got to make delicious snow taffy. Ended the trip with pancakes at the restaurant.
Very nice friendly place. We had a lot of fun walking the sugar bush trail, and learned many interesting facts about maple syrup. And of course, tasting different kinds of syrup was a delicious experience.
We really enjoyed our time. The tour was really good, the taffy on snow was delicious, the products in the store are great. I really recommend it for people of all ages. Thank you!
Had a great time
Best place to bring kids for an educated trail walk through a well groomed forest with plenty of activities and the most amazing pancake house!
Our favourite place for local maple syrup. Love going there in the spring.
Best place to get Maple syrup in whole of Ontario!
(Translated) Maple Farm with shop and guides. The guides are interesting and you learn about the history of the Maple syrup. In the shop there are different products with Maple syrup. (Original) Maple Farm mit Shop und Führungen. Die Führungen sind interessant und man lernt etwas über die Geschichte des Maple Sirups. Im Shop git es verschieden Produkte mit Maple Sirup.
As if I couldn't love White Meadows more... they now offer a tasting tray in the maple shack! Bonus: free if u spend over 20$. I never would known how amazing that maple dressing is without this tasting tray! Soooo Droolworthy!! Maple products are the best and White Meadows carries all the best of them !
Awesome place off the beaten path they sell maple syrup in multiple forms from body lotion to ketchup to chocolate, as well as for your pancakes. The employees there were very helpful and explained the syrup making process and all it entails. The bathrooms are clean, and they have changing tables available on your babies. Great place for a field trip.
Not just for sugar bush time of year. Great maple syrup and related products year round. Shop local :)
Love the maple syrup. Go every time we pass through.
Went for the first time. Staff was nice but overall it is a bit boring for us. It is $15 for two adults and while the walk is educational i personally would prefer if there was a restaurant afterwards.
Will always get my maple syrup there.....❤❤
Over the years we have learned to make this our, "Go to place," for dark maple syrup. A bit out of the way; but worth the scenic drive. Wonderful store with a good selection of mape products. Service always comes with a smile.
Mmmmm! Maple syrup at its finest!
What a great place to spend a few hours...enjoy the beautiful scenery..informative tour, and sample the best maple syrup in the world.
The picnic lunch is absolutely amazing! I highly recommend it. Amazing food, scenery, customer service and the bonfire is a nice treat!
Great place to go for Maple Syrup and maple syrup products. Very good service also.
Great selection of maple products.
Beautiful
Fantastic place can't wait for the cook out experience
I visit every spring. They have a great selection of maple syrup "colours" - so many places just have the dark and I much prefer the Golden. They will take the time to educate you on the difference .
How
Best place to get your maple products.
Lovely experience with friends - cozy, private, comfortable for lots of catching up and laughter. Picnic lunch was delightful, well prepared and wrapped up so nicely. Most of all delicious and the staff very friendly and always available if we had any needs. Tx White Meadows!
Stopped in to pick up some items to bring back home. Wonderful customer service, delicious maple syrup and they let you taste all the different varieties.
We used to have really nice breakfasts there. We were sad that they don't serve it anymore and that the restaurant was closed
Tasty products from maples
awesome
Great place, well worth the visit
Cool place. Staff knew all about maple syrup. Apparently the darker syrups are not the same as anut jemima. I bought a light syrup that was delicious on my pancakes.
Cute animals great tour of maple syrup production. Sad they no longer have a breakfast.
Friendly staff, great products and large selection. Must try their Maple BBQ sauce, it is delicious
Cute shop with lots of unique maple products.
Truly disappointed that the pancake house is closed truly enjoyed that part of the experience.
Awesome pancake breakfast.
This is a great find. Been coming for many years. Great staff. Lots of new products.
Gr8 staff The prices were very reasonable with a selection to confuse the unwary Its like going into any speciality store know what you want We will be returning again & again
A hidden gem! Our family spent about 3 hours here. We enjoyed the petting zoo, sampling maple syrup and of course going on the tour! An fun, educational, engaging afternoon. Thanks to Randy, farmer John and all staff at White Meadow farms for this special experience. We remember coming here as children with our parents, and will surely make it a yearly tradition with our family too.
Huge selection of everything Maple! Maple butter tarts are amazing, and we buy the maple salad dressing by the box!! You've gotta stop by the farm to see that there is so much more than the yummy maple syrup. Definitely worth the drive out to short hills.
Re review by Sara. I think either you caught them (or someone) on a bad day or its you that was the problem. These folks were excellent hosts. We did the tour (3 adults & 2 kids under 11) and the father of the family was our guide. His son I think was cooking the syrup for us to try near the end of the tour. We considered the tour costs very fair considering what knowledge we gained and the ride plus the samples. The attendants both in the restaurant and the gift shop were fantastic. A change of mind in a purchase was made and the attendant helped reverse a sale without hesitation. Friendly people and a good time is what we found. Second time there. WIl be back when ever in the area.
Nice little gift shop.
Great for maple products
'Randy' our maple syrup guide was awesome!! Great place for the family and young kids at heart!
Lovely farm showing you how maple syrup is extracted and grown. Wonderful history. You have a tour guide very organized family run buisness. Rural homely environment. Wear suitable walking through the woods shoes and clothing. Good for all ages. Our tour guide was Karen who was wonderful and knowledgeable. We did the sugar bush trek. Got to cut wood make taffies. My 16 years old and 12 years old did enjoy it as well as the tractor ride. Treat yourself to a butter tart from the cute gift shop. We bought lots of goodies, Sat outside by the open fire. Very humble people. Hope they continue these tours for generations to come. We learnt lots.
Great local maple products!
Delicious maple syrup and a great store to buy all kinds of gifts
(Translated) Very educational guide, very interesting. (Original) Guide très pédagogique, très intéressant.

Revisited While Meadows Farm to get some maple syrup
Awesome guys to deal with
Great tour and food
The bagels are awesome
Friendly & knowledgeable staff. Great selection of pure maple syrup and other goodies.
Great eggs.
We stopped at White Meadows farm for a bottle of maple syrup, the service from the young lady in the shop was excellent, if you are in the area it is well worth a visit.
Good morning. After listen to advertisement on 105.7 re your “maple cinnamon sourdough bagel”, my wife Anna and I were waiting for your doors to open Saturday morning September 26th to purchase some. We purchased two packages of 6 had one of the bagels this morning (September 27th) just with a little butter on them. We were disappointed not with texture but could hardly taste the “maple syrup and the cinnamon” which ingredients brought us there to purchase. On the other hand also purchased one of your “bread pudding “ it was very good and would buy again. We will also try your apple crisp desert in our next visit. Now something very positive, in our younger years before COVID-19 Anna and I visited your farm many times first with our children then with grandchildren enjoyed all aspect of the visits especially Hayride Coming across different stations of history and period costumes and little petting zoo as I said many years ago. Hopefully some day life will return to the “old normal” and bring our next generation of great grandchildren to visit. Thank you
very poor customer service, seems everyone was angry with each other and not very polite. wont be back
We have been buying our maple syrup here for years! Best maple syrup I’ve had, and the service is always great.
The pancake house is closed! It doesn't say that on the website.
This is very nice plan.
Great maple syrup. Best around.
Very informative tour on the ins and outs of maple syrup. Some walking to do so be prepared!
Went there for a picnic. The food was amazing, the view was perfect. Friendly owner and staff - would 100% do this again!!
Omg we are from along ways away. And so glad we could come and get maple syrup from there farm. We only went to the store there wasnt much else going on. But the girl who checked us out was super nice and friendly. Let us try samples before we purchased. And yes you can get maple syrup anywhere but we wanted it from the actual farm. Thanks yall
Friendly and great Customer Service!
White Meadows Farms has a great variety of high quality maple syrup products and the eggs are great. Stewardship of the maple woods shows in the health of the trees
Great family business. Integrity with responsible service.
Prices are fairly reasonable for merchandise. The price for tours seems a bit steep. The person who explained how maple syrup is made using the boilers was very sweet!! Disappointed that they don't have the restaurant any longer but understand it would be costly to run.
Very friendly place. I drove from Buffalo ans picked up three different kinds of maple syrup. This is definitely local farm to try!
The Sugar Bush Campout was such a fun time! Delicious food... excellent set up... Very enjoyable!!!
Whoa is this place expensive. $13 for a bag of maple candies. Small bag with about ten fingernail size candies.
I went thinking "how interesting could maple syrup actually be?" Well pretty damn interesting it turns out. The family that owns the farm were excellent guides and the tour was fun and informative. I would highly recommend this trip to anyone visiting Niagara or Toronto. Buy the BBQ sauce, it's amazing
Great for the kids
This is the place to go for everything and anything maple!
It is worth the drive. They have fresh eggs, a large assortment of ???? Maple syrups, and other items. Staff were pleasant .
The restaurant use to make this place worth the money but now without it it's an expensive day and not worthwhile. I think this year's visit will probably be out last.
