My family had an amazing day on the river. It was a perfect combination of rapids and calmer sections, where the kids could jump out of the boat and float in the river, yet stay excited about the upcoming rapid sections. The canyon and scenery was beautiful and lunch was amazing - what a spread! We felt that our guide was in control and experienced at all times and provided some interesting facts about the area. We would definitely do this trip again.

great trip on the upper Chilcotin River. Staff was very well organized and professional. River has good stretches of class 2 and 3 rapids. Plenty of wild life in early August- many bald eagles, big horn sheep, even a bear.

Had an incredible day rafting with Tyler and Shannon, this was our first time doing this and now cant wait to go again, it was a lot of fun, the lunch on the little "lunch" island was terrific they had so much food and a great variety, to anyone looking to go rafting I heartily recommend Big Canyon Rafting, you will not be disappointed. A great introduction to river rafting! I can see that there's a lot that goes into running trips like this - communication, logistics, safety, entertainment, accommodating participants with different needs and abilities. This crew managed it ALL smoothly and with style. A helpful review should be objective and include cons as well as pros; however I cannot imagine a way of improving on this trip.

We had the best time! We had a group of 12 for a bachelorette party. The guides were so fun and very accommodating. At the start of our day, they picked everyone up right on time at our campground. When we arrived to Williams Lake, they dropped us off near restaurants so we could go grab a quick breakfast while they picked up another group in town. Halfway through our rafting day, we pulled up onto shore and were provided with a homemade lunch - wraps and sandwiches with all the fixins, fruit, treats, water, iced tea. Hit the spot! When we arrived back at the bus after our awesome adventure, they had treats, fresh fruit, water, & iced tea all ready to go for us. On our way back to Quesnel, they stopped in Williams Lake for pizza delivery and fed us pizza on the way back to camp. We highly recommend this adventure! We had a blast. Learning about some history of the area, saw some natives netting fish on the river, saw a herd of sheep, hoodoos, and a sand dune. Amazing scenery. Go if you have the chance!! Thank you Tyler, Shannon, and Sebastien, you guys were all great and it was so fun getting to know you!

So you want to go river rafting you say? You want some white water fun you say? Look no further, you have arrived! The Upper Quesnel River is just what the "White Water Doctor" ordered! I HIGHLY recommend this trip if you want some serious white water! Tyler and his elite team of guides are first class, highly experienced/trained in all aspects of white water rafting and know when to get serious and where/when/how to have fun. Once the pre-boarding training is complete, they get right to work at making your day fun and exciting. From taking on Class II - IV Rapids to a variety of wildlife and scenery you just can't see anywhere else or by any other means. Just as your sense of adventure and vista appetites have been satisfied on the first run they have incredibly awesome, homemade snacks along with a buffet lunch waiting for you downstream at the landing zone to boost your energy level for the second run. Just before lunch everyone pitches in and gets the rafts back on the trailers for another run of exciting white water and ever changing views of wildlife and vistas. Rest assured, there is something exciting for you at every turn. Remember, this is a serious sport and make sure you, and the person beside you, is paying close attention to all the pre-boarding training/safety training then get out there and get your butt wet and above all else have some serious fun! I also recommend using the wet suits, dry shirts and neoprene boots on the first run after which you can decide if you want to lighten up on the gear for the second run.And don't forget to thank Tyler's dad for driving the bus down to the landing zone and setting up the snacks and buffet lunch - he works hard too. Hats off to Tyler and his crew for an exciting and VERY memorable day of rafting on the Upper Quesnel River. I am already looking forward to next season. God bless these guys - THEY ROCK!
