We found outer limit sports prior to our arrival to pei through trip advisor and some other internet searches looking for bicycle rentals. From the initial e mails we sent requesting information it was not hard to tell they knew what they were talking about and were very quick in responding. We often rent bikes when we visit cities so I have a lot of experience dealing with rental outlets. I was amazed at how good this operation was. They claim their bikes are replaced at the beginning of each season and I can confirm this is definitely the case. Comfortable, easy to ride and most importantly well tuned and maintained. I wish there were more stars to award outer limit sports as five just doesn't seem enough. I'll be back!

Great service. We tried to rent bikes for a two week period, and although they don't list a two-week rental rate on the site, the guys kindly gave us a great discounted estimate. They undercut the competition by a fair bit for us, so you can rest assured you'll be getting the best deal around. Totally recommend.

Rented bikes for a week in August 2018. Bikes were new and in excellent working condition. Price included lock, helmet, repair kit, panier rack, and water bottle cage. Probably one of the nicest bikes I have ever had the pleasure to ride. Check these guys out you won't be disappointed!

Myself and three other friends rented bikes from Outer Limit Sports to do a four day ride on the Confederation Trail. We all found the personnel at the store to be very friendly and professional. The bikes were in excellent condition. We had to make a few changes to our original plans which turned out to be no problem. Everyone we dealt with was very helpful. Would recommend this store for bike rental with no hesitation. In fact, we plan to return to PEI and do more of the Confederation Trail and will make rental arrangements once again through Outer Limit Sports

I messed up my daughter's front brakes on her new GT bike. She got it a few weeks back in Halifax and was super excited to ride it in PEI. Anyway, when I was strapping the bikes down for the ride from NS to PEI, I crushed the noodle on the front brakes and they were seized. When Mya and I came in, the guys took the bike right away, while Mya and I looked at all the cool bikes in the store. Within 10 min the bike ???? was fixed and my daughter was back on the trails. I'd recommend the store to anyone.

Staff are knowledgeable and will help you find the right bike for your needs. They are familiar with local bike routes/trails and can help set up guided tours. They also sell/rent skateboards/snowboards, sup's, and have large selection of quality golf equipment. Their staff is friendly, courteous. Mechanics are excellent.

We rented two hybrid "touring" bikes during our vacation at the end of July. We were renting them to load on our bike rack, drive out to St. Peter' Bay, and bike the scenic Confederation trail. Everything went fine until an hour into our ride, where we finally reached a packed clay road and I could hear skip skip skip. Turns out my wheel was very out of true. My pedal was also sticking a bit, and my chain needed some oiling badly. We opened up our "repair kit" and found two tire levers and one tube. That, along with a small bike pump, was all that was included in our kit. For two bikes, we had only one tube, and neither Allen keys nor wrenches. We couldn't fix my back break or spokes, so we decided to disengage my brake. I biked the next hour with front brakes only, and then we headed to Charlottetown. I explained the situation and asked for a partial refund, and the guys at Outer Limits Sports said that their manager was in Toronto, so they couldn't offer me anything. In fact, the rep I was talking to looked down on our prepaid form to check to see if I had bought the insurance. As if my one hour bike ride untrued the wheel to that extent! That bike had not been serviced for a while I'm certain. Eventually they threw in a white water bottle (something that was made in China and cost 2 cents to make). Next time, I would rent bikes at St. Peter's Bay (all of the touristy places have a few hybrid/mountain bikes to rent).
