We came for a bachlorette for our bride Cass. Our bride was a bit nervous on the bike due to height, the owners went way above and beyond to trim the tube to lower the bike seat as low as possible and it fit her perfect. We had an incredible day with the bikes. They looked amazing for photos, rode fantastic and gave us great memories. Highly recommend!!!

Fantastic experience! Highly recommend Closson Road Cycles for bike rentals in PEC. We initially booked tandems. Turns out, tandems are NOT as easy to ride as we thought... oops. The team at Closson Road Cycles was able to shift some things around and able to swap our booking for four regular bikes. They even provided us with a map and recommendations of wineries to go to (and where to stop for fries!).

We went on a wine tour for my sister's 30th Birthday this past Canada Day long weekend and we had a wonderful experience. Keith and his family are so generous and hospitable. Our bikes were brand new and already fitted for our height before we arrived. On the tour, because Keith is a winemaker himself, he knew the area, other winemakers and the process itself in great detail. We learned a lot, and had a wonderful time! Cassandra was so wonderful! We didn't rent online until the evening before we wanted an 9:30am pick up, and we had our reservations confirmed very quickly. Cassandra was very friendly, and helped to validate our route. She even gave us some first-aid antiseptic wipes when we told her one of our friends fell, when we returned the bikes.

Fantastic experience!!!! As someone who cannot ride a bike, I rented out a trike for our bachelorette biking. They were incredibly kind, gave us tips for riding and our trip, gave suggestions for places to visit along the way, and were incredibly kind and friendly. One of our members ended up scratching her knee and when we returned the bikes later, one of the employees immediately offered to help as they were first aid certified. They were incredibly calm and kind, helping to treat the issue while distancing! I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone who wants to use their service.

Renting from Closson Road Cycles is a no brainer if you want to visit wineries in the area. The location is great as there are many great wineries within a short bike ride. Bikes are only $40 to rent for the entire day and they close at 7pm, so there is no rush to return once wineries are closed. Cassandra was very friendly and helpful. She provided a map of the area and made great recommendations about where to go. They also provide emergency assistance in case you have any bike issues during your day. We took a taxi from Belleville which was only $40 (book ahead of time both ways as they do not have Uber in the area). Highly recommended!

Closson Road Cylcles were such a joy to rent bikes from! They were SO helpful from the first phone call and were so kind to send me an email with suggested wineries to build our own wine tour. When we arrived they were prepared with our bikes and super friendly, took pictures for us and were genuinely excited for our party! Also I accidentally pre-booked one too many bikes for our group and they kindly refunded me for that extra bike we didn't use when I wasn't even expecting them to. we had a great experience renting our bikes for the day from closson! we rented 3 bikes and spent the day biking up and down the road visiting wineries. we were greeted kindly, shown out bikes and sized properly for them. we were provided with a map and keith even went over the best route for us to take to see everything we wanted to see. he gave us an extra basket for us to carry our items. we also requested to change our reservation time and requested specific bike colours and were accommodated wonderfully. great experience!!

To be honest, I'm quite shocked by all the positive reviews on google for Closson. The positive reviews were the reason why we went with Closson Road Cycles in the first place as opposed to other bike rental companies in PEC. Had we known, we would have gone with County Bike Rentals. That being said, I am writing this review as honest feedback from our experience. We rented 7 bikes for the weekend and the majority of them turned out to be very poor quality. 3 of the bikes were extremely rickety and noisy, and another 2 had the chains fall off while riding, which posed as a danger to the riders. All of the tires on the bikes were not pumped ahead of time making it very difficult to bike. The tires were only at 20 psi when the recommended range for cruisers/hybrids are 40-45 psi. Luckily we had a bike pump on hand from one of the avid cyclists in our group. What was most disappointing was when we informed Cassandra about the low tire pressure, she became extremely defensive and told us the humidity/hot weather was what decreased the tire pressure and caused it to be so low. This is completely false as hot temperatures INCREASE tire pressure and cold temperatures decrease it - it's simple gas laws. Further to that, she also blamed us for "over inflating" the tires when we only pumped it a little below the recommended psi. All and all, expensive bike rental for poor quality bikes.

My girlfriend and I rented bikes for one day, over the long weekend. The young man was so friendly and helpful. He gave us a recommended route and marked it out for us on a map. It was so pretty as we rode past marshes, beautiful cottages and wineries. We made it to Wellington and sat at the water shore. There was even an apple tree that we picked 2 to eat! We had such a blast and despite having sore butts (after a 30km ride), we’ll be back! Thank you for your an awesome time!!

This place is amazing and the staff is great. I was on a group trip and was the only one without a bike. Found this spot to rent one (last minute) and was able to get one the next morning. During the bike tour, my friend’s bike had problems and we were close to this place. We stopped in and the lady fixed her problem on the spot! Seriously love this place and recommend it to everyone!
