Karen is an absolutely fabulous tour guide. A genuine sweetheart with the most infectious bubbly energy. She was able to fit in a last minute tour for 3 frontline healthcare workers (2 nurses and a social worker) taking a much deserved break during COVID-19. We felt incredibly cared for from the moment she picked us up. She provided us with adorable custom masks and other little gifts to make the day so memorable and pandemic safe. Our tour was completely customized to our desires. We also love that Karen and her husband have been running this local business for over 10-years and it certainly shows in her knowledge, personal connections at the wineries and the hidden gems she shared with us!! I give Karen my absolute highest recommendations. I look forward to adventuring again with Karen in Naramata and Penticton in search of more delicious wines ????????

My mother and sister and I did a 4-hour tour with Ron on August 22nd, 2018 and it was easily the highlight of our trip to the Okanagan Valley. First of all, this was the 5th time in the past few years that my sister hired Karen or Ron of Grape Friends to host a tour, so that fact alone speaks volumes about how great of a job they do.First of all, Ron is very knowledgeable about all of the vineyards and their offerings. So, if you have wine preferences that you can articulate, Ron will be able to masterfully tailor the tour to your tastes. Ron is also super friendly and a great conversationalist, so the tour he provided was as fun as it was professional and educational. Ron also carried stickers to mark our wines so we could tell them apart at the end of the tour — a very convenient service when you return home with 3 or 4 mixed cases of wine. Furthermore, Ron is an excellent driver who inspires confidence. In short, taking a tour with Grape Friends is pretty much the most hassle-free, fun, and intimate way you could experience Canada’s wine country.

We had an absolutely stellar time on our wine tour with Grape Friends! If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Ron was our guide and he was the very best! He made our trip super fun. He provided us with snacks, notepads, pens, water bottles, and took care of all our wines and cheeses. Him and his wife are so knowledgable and kind. I would recommend them in a heart beat! Karen was our driver and she is absolutely incredible! When she arrived she provided us with reusable masks and a notebook and pen for tasting notes. She also had water and pretzels for inbetween tastings! She is extremely knowledgeable about the region and how wine is made, I think we learned more from her then the wineries! All the places she took us were really good and overall it was a really great experience. She is very outgoing and a pleasure to be around! I would absolutely do another tour with her!

Me and my 8 girlfriends were extremely impressed how smoothly our 4 hour wine tour went. Karen was so bubbly in her emails making us excited for our day and Ron took the best care of us. He made sure to take us to the best vineyards with the time we had and they even treated us with pretzels and a vineyard with popcorn (who doesn't love snacks?!) We will without a doubt be booking from this company again, highly recommend!!

Amazing Tour company!! Ron and Karen are simply amazing. We have been using them for 8 years now as our wine tour company of choice. Everything from booking, to the tour experience is seamless. Whether you are looking for them to choose your wineries based one wine preferences or want to custom build your own wine tour they are there to make your experience the best it can be. I cant recommend the home made picnic lunch they offer enough, simply amazing to enjoy on a hand picked winery patio with your favorite wines from the tour. There knowledge of the regions, wineries, and winemakers truly adds to the experience and opportunities to find hidden gems.

We had a great day touring 6 wineries with Karen. After she took us to the first Winery, she began to understand our likes and dislikes. Then she took us to wineries that would suit our tastes. Booked them for a day of Wine tasting and I can't say enough good things!! Very clean, safe service. Planning and booking was done so easily, and they were always quick to communicate back to us whenever we had questions or requests before we went on the tour. Karen our wine tour guide was so nice, and she was great getting us to and from wineries. I also found her to be extremely knowledgeable regarding all different types of wines. She also had a personal connection with many of the people working in the wineries which made me feel very welcomed in each winery we went to. We even expressed a desire to go to Summerland Sweets, so she brought us there as well. Finally, I left my sunglasses in the van which I did not discovered until the day after the tour and they went out of there way to meet me at a beach that we were at to bring them back to me. Thanks so much for a fun day of touring the wineries. Look forward to booking with again soon! Thanks again!
