What an amazing trip with Darcy and Tamara and the best way to see the vineyards. We had a great ride and a tonne of fun with the crew. We met near town and were straight onto the Kettle Valley Trail. We rode up to Arawana - gentle 2% grade uphill to the lookout and then it was down hill to the first vineyard for tastings and an amazing curated lunch put on by Tamara. These guys have got it dialed in. We ride on bikes and they have a support truck that meets you along the way with water and anything we needed. Any wine purchases go in the back of the truck so you're free to peddle and enjoy the incredible views. They select the vineyards for each trip so you're always going to get something different and very fun. They also know the operators so you get looked after well at the vineyards. Darcy was a great lead and made sure everyone was okay on the ride. It's an easy ride for pretty much anyone and they'll pace the ride to the group. When some of the group has ebikes the rest of us worked a bit harder ;) Thoroughly recommended and the highlight of the vacation.

An amazing way to experience adventure cycling in BC, noted as one of the world's Best wine regions. The roads, and guides, carefully lead you through gorgeous valleys, up and down hills with breath taking views of BC lake country. Stops include world class wineries boasting spectacular wines and gourmet snacks! ????????????????‍♀️ Don't forget your credit card! You can purchase your favourite blends and the Epic "broom/sag wagon" will transport them for you (and you if it gets to be too much ????). Thoughtfully planned routes for all kinds of roadies from the weekend warrior to the hard core century + riders. This is an experience that you'll talk about for a long time! Awesome! I can't wait to do it again! Cheers Epic Cycling! ❤️????????‍♀️.

Tamara and Heather made the cycling experience so comfortable and personal for my boyfriend and I. The view was spectacular along the ride and the trip was customized to our schedule and interest. The team had one of the best personalities I’ve worked with and went above and beyond my expectations. Tamara had set up a special surprise birthday lunch for me in one of the wineries we visited. Strong recommendation to choose them!

Tamara took my husband and I on a ride that was a great fit for both of us. We were able to ride with a view overlooking Naramata valley the whole way. We gained an appreciation for Penticton’s bike culture, both on and off road. Also, with the number of small wineries about, bike riding seems a great way to do tastings. Tamara and Darcy give you preference as to what wineries you might prefer to visit. A great day, full, memorable, and leaving us good-tired at the end.

We had an outstanding 3 days riding in the Valley - road bike in the wine country for 2 days and 1 day of ebikes on the KVR and Penticton. Outstanding service, great planning, great winery choices on our tour for both wine and venue quality. Tamara & Darcy are the perfect cycling & wine tour hosts & guides! I strongly recommend them for any cycling tour planning in the Valley!

This was my first experience road riding in the Okanagan and Epic Cycling did an amazing job of choosing a perfect route that showcased the best roads, scenery and wineries in the Penticton/OK falls area. Epic's owners, Tamara and Darcy were totally prepared, engaged and so much fun as our hosts on the ride. I am a casual, intermediate level cyclist and came prepared for a challenging but fun ride. Epic did a great job picking ride leaders and routes that could accommodate cyclists of almost any level. The group met up at Skaha lake park to start, where we were debriefed on the days plan and provided anything we could have needed for nutrition and hydration. Cyclists self seeded into two groups based on skill level and we set out along gorgeous lakeside roads to our first stop, Howling Moon craft cidery. The folks there were prepared with a great location for our group to taste 4 of their ciders, which were all fantastic. After that we headed on up some challenging and fun hills and quiet backcountry roads to Covert Farms and Wild Goose wineries, where we were given tastes of all their best wines as well as a meat and cheese board at Covert and pizzas at Wild Goose. The distance between stops was pretty spot on-we cycled about 15 km to Howling Moon, up a short but steep hill to Covert and then another 20 km or so to Wild Goose. The ride totalled about 75km from start to finish, which was a perfect day out for my skill level. I know too that other riders in the advanced group had a great time and chance to ride longer distances at much faster speeds, and riders who were less experienced still felt like the pace of the less advanced group was appropriate for them. One of the best parts of the Epic cycling experience is that Tamara and Darcy provide vehicle support for the whole ride, which means not only are you kept safe and free from worry about mechanicals or needing food/water or minor first aid (or even a ride home if you need it!) you can also purchase wine (or cider) at any of the stops and it's transported back to the ride end location! They also make sure to go on ahead to each stop to ensure the location is ready for the group. At each stop there was a private group area, which meant we didn't have to struggle to find room to taste wine or eat with the general public. For anyone who loves to ride and loves wine, Epic Cycling provides an amazing experience! If people are familiar with cycling at places like the Belvedere Hotel in Italy, Tamara and Darcy have provided something of equal or better quality in our own BC backyard. Highly recommended!

A lovely day with our guide Heather. 16km up the KVR followed by coasting to some lovely wineries. I can’t thank Heather and Tamara enough. Highly recommend!

We had an amazing time with Tamara and Darcy who are the ultimate hosts! Definitely the highlight of our rainy weekend in Naramata. Started with a ride along the KVR with gorgeous scenery, tailored to our riding level. Then visited some interesting smaller wineries, cideries and creameries that you might not necessarily know if you aren’t local. They made it very easy to purchase as much wine as we wanted, which Darcy kindly delivered to us closer to home.

A wonderful experience and lots of fun. Cycling the Naramata Bench and sampling wines with Epic was very enjoyable. If you want to experience wine and cycling, Epic is the company to contact.

What a great experience this was. The group treated us so well, and we just good people to spend the day with. They completely went out of their way to make sure the whole day was special and planned some unexpected surprises throughout the day that differentiated themselves from other wine tours I have taken in the past. I couldn’t recommend Epic Cycling more. I would book another wine tour with the same group in a heartbeat.

Wow. Epic cycling tours can be described in just that one word! I’m not an “avid” cyclist by any means but joined a group of people and didn’t feel left behind or disregarded. The ride is so well organized and coordinated that they have different group leaders for each skill level. Needless to say, don’t let the intensity of distance detour you. I did a 70km ride in my runners! If you’re in the area, enjoy bike riding, wine tasting, laughing and a beautiful scenic view - do not miss the opportunity to take this experience!! Friendly smiling faces host you the entire time and have all the appropriate gear, drink, snacks should you need anything! Definitely will be back! Thank you guys for such an awesome time!

Great service and an outstanding experience!

This is my first experience on a wine tasting "Ride" I wasn't sure what to expect. We showed up with our bikes and everything else was taken care of, ride nutrition, water even hydration tabs. The pre-ride briefing was informative introducing the guides, route and pace. Off we went on an Epic adventure 3 stops tasting great Okanagan wine. A Carcuterie board was ready for us at one of the stops to go along with the tastings. Later in the ride on our final stop an amazing flatbread pizza. I also really liked the fact I could buy the wines I wanted on this tour and the driver of the support vehicle packed it all in the vehicle for us. Fantastic people and service. We will definitely be back for more. Thanks guys.

We were interested in doing off road cycling in the Penticton area, on the KVR (the old Kettle Valley Railroad). Our expectations were more than met with Tamara who supported us for the 5 days of riding and with Bert who was our guide with superb knowledge of the area. We were there primarily for the riding but managed to experience several of the wineries with the excellent lunches that were organized by Tamara.

Just got back from my bachelor party weekend in Penticton. We did a KVR trail and Naramata winery tour day with Epic. These folks truly knocked it out of the park in every way. I can't say enough about the team they have, and the quality of every detail of the day we spent with them. Thank you so much Epic for a day we'll never forget!

I rode a 70 km ride with Epic Cycling in early May. Beautiful rides along lakeshore and also some challenging hills. My ride leader made sure to ride with me and encourage me when I got tired toward the end of the ride. We went to two great wineries for tasting and pizza and charcuterie. All arranged in advance by Darcy and Tamara. The cidery was our first visit. Very refreshing. Darcy and Tamara attended all our stops and other locations along the ride with whatever we needed.. They are experienced road bikers and know what is needed to make it a great experience!! Highly recommend Epic Cycling!

In early May I had the opportunity to experience my first group ride while wine touring the beautiful Penticton/Okanagan Falls area. It was amazing! We stayed in the beautiful Casa Colina B&B in Kaleden, hosts Brenda and Rick were wonderful. Amazing breakfasts, tranquil setting, everything needed for a weekend away! The ride was guided by several great ride leaders, ensuring everyone arrived safely to each venue. We headed out mid-morning on what turned out to be the perfectly sunny day First stop was Howling Moon Cidery, Oliver - might have bought a few bottles. :-) Our next stop was Covert Farms, where we enjoyed 5 wine samples and an amazing organic charcuterie board. Last stop was Wild Goose Winery - more samples and gourmet pizza baked on the BBQ. All cider & wine purchased was transported back via the support vehicle. I'm a recreational rider who is comfortable rode riding, but do not know the Okanagan area. Epic Cycling provided great ride leaders that ensured all riders rode at a comfortable pace while staying safe. Tamara & Darcy also provided everything you could need for mechanical support, first aid, cold water bottles, energy food - as well as transporting the very important wine purchases! :-) If you love to bike, want to meet great people, and need a weekend out of the city - Epic Cycling is a must!
