We have used sell off several times. Easy to use online if wanting to book after hours. Live that they have the total price for all with taxes as child rates vary at hotels, so that makes it a lot easier when weeding out what’s in your price range. Stopped in to see if there were any last minute deals to get out of this cold weather and get to Mexico. Emily was not only able to find a great resort at an amazing price, but also took care of every detail for me and my family. From the time we booked, until the time we got home, there were no unwelcome surprises that can sometimes be associated with "last minute deals". Our all-inclusive week at the Grand Sirenis Riveria Maya was fantastic. Great food, friendly staff, entertaining shows every night, 3 pools, and a luxurious room are just a few reasons we enjoyed ourselves so much. Worst customer service. Approached them to plan my vacation. They told me they will send me a list of hotels to my email. But I never received any email from them. Went twice to ask them to send me the list. But they never bothered to send. Will never go to them again in my life. Moreover only one person works at a time. You will have to wait for 30min to an hour if that person is already talking to someone.

The service I experienced at the sell off location was perfection. All staff were friendly professional and knowledgeable, the office itself was very clean and bright and inviting. My travel supervisor's name was Ashley Stamp and she was phenomenal. Very efficient, personable, extremely patient and knowledgeable and meticulously detailed. She made sure we knew all of our options including little extras like the Mobay VIP experience and Elite plus, which was well worth the extra cash. Once we arrived and realized what the VIP experience included we were immediately grateful. Ashley followed up with us after our trip and also worked with my now fiancé to arrange a beautiful sunset dinner on the beach beforehand and was in touch with the hotel to ensure everything was going according to plan. She really took the extra step and we cannot recommend or praise her enough. We will be travelling again for our wedding in April 2019 and we will be booking through Ashley Stamp Selling Supervisor at Sell Off Vacations.

We just wanted to post a review of our travel agent Emily Chambers. Right from day one when we came to her office she was very helpful and informative about our upcoming wedding trip in beautiful puerto Vallarta at the Rui palace Pacifico. When we first came to her office we were unsure about a destination, we had a couple of different places in mind and she was very helpful in determining which place would best suit our needs. Our wedding vacation doesn't actually happen until Jan 2018 but Emily has been in constant contact with us throughout the process so far and everything she has said or promised has been spot on. She has been to the palace Pacifico personally and highly recommended that as a destination and we are looking forward to the day we arrive. If your looking for a helpful and knowledgeable travel agent Emily is one we would highly recommend.

Went in with a few friends to book an all-inclusive in the Dominican Republic. The agent, Ms. Rowsell, was able to find and offer a better package in 20 minutes than I had been able to find in 3 days of searching online. Despite a rather rocky couple of months in the exact composition of our group she has been understanding and helpful, transparent with price demands and what to expect. This has taken a lot of guess work out of the process and for that we are fortunate. Selloff is a Westjet company so at least you know you'll be paired with one of the more reputable airlines too, and they are able to tap into the network of Westjet reps and resources on the resorts.

I booked an All inclusive vacation to Varadero Cuba online. I then recieved an email informing me that the flight with Air Canada January 21 2021 has been cancelled. Thanks to Covid. I called Selloffvacations in Sudbury and was fortunate to have Karen assist me. She is awesome. I have been going to Cuba for 23 years. She gave me options, and was on the phone with Air Canada first thing the next morning as she needed their go ahead with our option. We spoke the next morning, chose a new hotel and I am a Happy Traveller once again. She was very informative, patient, caring, attentive and understanding. She even laughed at my jokes.lol I then recieved a very thorough email from Karen explaining the new process's I will experience. Everytime when I go to this location I hope to get a bit better something with the people working there compare to me searching for my vacation online alone. Everytime I find that searching alone online is much better. This location does not give you anything extra. You can actually get a better deal or extras online vs. Buying your vacation at this location. People working there are friendly for sure. No problem with them. They will be very helpful to you if you don't know how to do your own search I guess.

We just returned from a 7 day all inclusive at the Riu Emerald Bay in Mazatlán Mexico The weather was good with no rain just a lot of sun. The ocean waves were crazy high and very strong the whole week there. The Resort is very nice and very clean !!! The staff were great !!! The food was Fantastic and the daytime activities were all lot's of fun. The BIGGEST complaint was the ZERO night time entertainment. Lacking in all around entertaining shows. Had a fantastic time at Melia Punta Cana this past week. Resort is very big so be prepared to walk, there are lots of shuttles and a train but if you can't catch one it's quite a stroll from the lobby to the beach, however, we didn't mind working off the great food we had! NEVER HAS MY FAMILY EVER HAD SUCH A TERRIBLE EXPEREINCE. My father had booked his last 5 vacations here I booked my last 2 as I began traveling on my own. I left this afternoon feeling so disgusted. The lady was CONDESCENDING RUDE AND IGNORED ANYTHING WE WANTED JUST KEPT SAYING "NO, NOT FOR YOU" TO ANYTHING WE ASKED. She kept saying she was overwhelmed as there was a line of people in yet we sat there for an hour knowing to expect waits being walk ins. This is the worst experience I've had....GO TO CAA OR ANYWHERE ELSE INSTEAD. I pulled up the vacations on my phone and needed assistance with booking flight's....she flat out refused to help, made rude comments made fun of us calling us kiddies and calling me "hunny" then practically shoved us out the door.

Re: Heather Price Due to the covid pandemic many vacations of mine have been cancelled which is understandable. As a frequent vacationer I have always left any credits in place as they are easily used. Heather Price took it upon herself to take my Air Canada Vacations credit (no expiry date) and ask ACV to refund my outstanding balance. This came as a total surprise as I had never asked for this to be done. She did this on April 17 2021. It is now July 19 2021 and I have not received anything. The balance owing is $1673.00. While her intention may have good, it does not change the fact that she acted upon this herself without contacting me directly for instruction on this matter. I am presently on a Air Canada Vacation and could have used part of the credit instead of having to pay for this out of pocket.

Covid forced me to cancel a trip booked through Selloff Vacations in Truro in March 2020. I was able to get part of my Air Canada fare back and my Expedia hotels, however, I was not able to get any refunds from my Sunwing hotels and my Manulife Insurance policy. I believe that Selloff needs to be more particular about the other companies it reccomends and works with, as some of them do not have good customer service.

We stayed at the San Marino Hotel and the location was great as it was central to restaurants and the ocean. The hotel itself was clean but rather tired. We understand that it is under new ownership and they are updating the facilities. The shower was hot and had lots of pressure. After a day at the beach that was important. We didn’t do the all inclusive but we understand that was an option. As a rating we would say a 6/10., Our agent, Jennifer Lukey, is always a joy to work with.

Earlier this month, my boyfriend and I took our first vacation to the Dominican Republic. We went to Riu Republica and the experience was more than we had expected. I never was able to get registered on the Sun Wing web site as it said my email address was not a valid email. This non valid email address is the same one you just emailed me on and I have been using for 10 years. On check in there was no one from Sun Wing the to assist with check in as it was needed because the front desk did not have our room assigned for what we paid for. They told me to come back at 9 am with my invoice to prove what type of room I had paid for. It took from 9AM ro 5 PM to get our room key. When finally at 5 someone in authority got involved. Other issues; food was terrible really terrible mostly slop. Locked out of our room three times Charged for a phone call we never made Told there was free wi fi there were hot spots just use your rm # and last name. Got to our rm found there was wi fi must be one of the hot spots? Put in password rm # and last name as password and it connected. As it turns out 4 days later we were being charge $5 a day. That the only hot spot was in the bar. Got lied to by hotel staff getting a free Wi Fi it was a time share scam couldn't get out of it for 3:1/2 hours. Started with going to the buffet to have breakfast with the con man we said we already had breakfast he said you have to go and he eat breakfast while we watched and then he said tip the waiter. Front desk said we have to give up our wrist bands at 12 noon on checkout day even if our shuttle to the airport doesn't come unti 8:30 PM. Called Sun Wing they straightened it out How many people get jerked around? Plane was 4 hours late for the 2 midnight departure. Didn't get out until 4 AM. There was no notification from Sun Wing that our plane was late and that our pickup time was changed. Saw a Sun Wing rep at 11 PM down at the bell hop station he never came up to the lobby to see us and advise. We asked him what was happening he said he doesn't know anything just waiting for the bus There is more but this should be enough to keep people away from here. Gary Keena

Alright so where do we start, Myself and my partner have booked with Emily twice now and on top of that have actually traveled with her and her partner. From the beginning we were welcomed with someone who actually cared and wanted to help. This is what led to us actually traveling together. We went to Riu Palace in Montego Bay as well as Blau Costa Verde ( I was extremely reserved about going back to Cuba after a terrible experience the last time we went). Both trips were fantastic. The Jamaica trip was adults only and we did a couple of excursions including Luminous lagoon, Catamaran and Snorkeling. I myself (being the only one with a PADI certification) did a few dives as well. The entire trip was fantastic. We had no issues at all from start of booking until return home. Everything was taken care of by Emily and the staff at the resort. The trip to Cuba included our children (9 and 6) This was the first time we had taken the kids. I was concerned about the food as the last time we went to Cuba I survived off mint chocolate chip ice cream and beer for 7 days. This time was MUCH different. The food was a solid 8 ( In Cuba rating) Probably a 6-7 for a vacation. Although the food wasn't AMAZING is was most definitely survivable and at every meal there was a few things that hit the amazing mark for sure!!! (Lady at the grill at supper and same lady at breakfast!!) The trip once again went off without a hitch. We went shopping at the market as well as snorkeling with the kids. (The snorkeling was on a windy day and therefore didn't allow for too much fun on the water). I did a dive in Cuba as well, this dive went south for me very quickly as the mask I had leaked the whole time and it was very choppy. Aside from the wind (which might I add is absolutely unavoidable) the vacation was much better then being at home. Both vacations went off without a hitch. I would ABSOLUTELY book with Emily again and am already planning another trip next year. She is very knowledgeable about the resorts. Knowing that she has to research each and every place for a client individually this allows her to suggest places based on what your looking for!!! I would recommend her to anyone looking to travel!!

My boyfriend and I went to Cuba in February with a group of our friends. Usually I just book everything myself, but our friends wanted to use a travel agent so we agreed. What a mistake. Greg and Andrea were helpful in the beginning. The price for our trip went down and my boyfriend did not sign up for the price drop guarantee, obviously that was his own fault. But at the beginning of January we went in and talked to Greg and he was very helpful and we decided that we would cancel our trip and then rebook at the better price, and he informed us we would each be refunded $370. He explained that it could take up to five weeks to receive the refund. After two months, I emailed both Andrea and Greg as we had not received our refunds and I was told that their accounting team likes to wait until the end of each month to have everything put together and that we should have it by the end of February/beginning of March. Well it has been almost 6 months since we started the refund process and still nothing. I have emailed both Andrea and Greg multiple times and have been completely ignored. I will never use Sell of Vacations again and will be telling everyone I know to stay clear.

We have been using Brenda Reilander at Selloff Vacations Regina to book our vacations since 2012. So far we have booked 11 vacations through Brenda. Most of our trips involve more than one resort and now include connecting flights which means that Brenda needs to contact the trip supplier (ACV, Sunwing, etc.) to finalize prices and connecting flights. It’s a lot more work for Brenda and more time spent on the telephone (and on hold). I recently noticed a price reduction in one of our trips and Brenda was quick to complete all the work required to get us our refund. We are now booking at least 3 trips a year through Brenda. Brenda is always thorough, professional, pleasant, quick to answer any questions and quick to get back to us with prices, concerns and suggestions. We arrived in Jamaica on April 9, and we were directed to the Sunwing transportation to the Holiday Inn Resort. Upon check-in the staff was very friendly and had someone take us to our room. It was clean and the beds were comfortable. There were lots of activities if you wish to join in. The entertainment at night was very good which also was very family friendly. The overall appearance was clean but could use some updating. The part of the hotel we stayed in was older and did show some aging. The food was very good and simple, that would appeal to numerous peoples plates of taste. We did do the Jamaican elacart restaurant and it was very tasty and a wonderful experience. However one note tip if you want great service. We did tip some, we only had one disappointing dining experience where the service was not there at all once we were directed to the table. But over all I would go again to this resort.

We had a great room for the room of the day deal at the Sunscape. Awesome views, plus the beach had gorgeous sand and a perfect distance for a long walk. The food was ok just as any buffet style resorts - we enjoyed the Bluewater Grill for a la carte and the fun food truck for quick lunches by the pool. Pool and swim up bar were great too. We enjoyed the consistent sunny days and hot weather which made perfect for pool time, The ocean is typically rough so red or black flag and you need to watch the strong waves and tide so we only went in the ocean a little bit to say we were in it. The Sunwing representatives were great very informative and the excursions were well organized and fun. Lots to see and do in the area. Saw dolphins out on the catamaran tour and manta rays just out in the water in front of hotel - they jump out and play in the waves - we could see schools of them when there was a nice clear wave. Overall it was a fun and memorable stay. Definitely a return trip in the future Thank you to Jenny who helped plan and book our trip with 3 other couples - all went very well.

The lady was terrible. We went in for suggestions for our honeymoon, which meant no where down south due to the zika virus. Then mocked us for getting married at a young age. Then anything we suggested was oh I wouldn't sell you anything to there not a good time of year there and it'll be cold. Oh no you can't go on a cruise you don't want to be with a bunch of old people. Would not recommend anyone going to this location! Disgusted with the service, not sure how this lady still has a job!
