We have worked with him for 5 years and have not had any disappointment with the quality of vacation or the service. They work within our budget and you can call Abdul at any time for help or advice. Tara nailed it! All I had to do was tell her what kind of vacation our family was looking for and a price range, and in less than 24 hours we booked one of the best vacations south we have ever had! The recommended hotel exceeded our expectations and the excursions she suggested we look into provided us with experiences of a lifetime! It was so great to have her expertise instead of spending hours reading reviews online and second guessing what the area around the resort would be like. Although I have given Latitudes a 5star rating a number of years ago, I have the unfortunate news to let people know I now give it a 1 star Although I’ve never had any problems with Abdul the owner or his staff and it was always a pleasure to deal with him. I was recently told I will no longer be a client anymore as their “criteria” has changed. I can only assume that I wasn’t spending enough money with a couple times a year travel with my fiancé.... the email I received was more politically correct. It’s a true shame that you have to be of certain status to be a client. I can understand not taking on anymore clients but to get rid of clients is horrible customer service for such a small hometown agency. I went to Latitudes for this reason, keep small businesses alive and support my community. Breakaway Travel in Oshawa has been long standing in the community and I shouldn’t have left in the first place to support anyone else. Lesson learned for me. What’s your lessons Latitudes?

We booked our wedding through Latitudes and it was a horrible experience. Our original travel agent was amazing, but they let her go without telling us or anyone else in our group. It was about a week before I found out and it was not through the travel agency contacting me. I had multiple guests complain that the agent wasn’t answering them. When I contacted latitudes to ask why I wasn’t informed that our travel agent was no longer with them the manager simply said “you’re not our only customer” as true as that may be, we were bringing them a decent amount of business and a lot of confusion could have been avoided with a simple email to inform us of this. The manager is very rude and dismissive as experienced by myself and many others from our group. Our second assigned travel agent (who was only assigned after I called, a week after our original was laid off) was extremely nice and more apologetic about the situation than the manager. However, she seemed disorganized and did not give us a lot of confidence that something wasn’t going to be missed. I will give her the benefit of the doubt that some of the disorganization was due to being thrown into a large group booking in the middle of things. The majority of our guests complained to me and some even complained to the manager about a lack of communication, as well as a few other issues they were experiencing. They felt as we had from talking to him, completely unheard and disrespected. When we were sent our etickets the majority of our guests didn’t actually have the attachment and had to ask for it again, the date of birth for my mom was wrong in her ticket (which she noticed, not the travel agent), and my friends name was spelled wrong (also not picked up by the travel agent). I would absolutely never use the travel agency again, nor would I recommend anyone use them. The manager is extremely unprofessional and clearly doesn’t want the business by the way he speaks to people.

I did not have a good experience booking my honeymoon through LatitudesPlus. To start, my travel agent changed and I was not notified. I had originally submitted all of my travel information only to have them lose it as well as my credit card information. When I called the manager to sort it out I was not impressed. He did not address the issues I'd been having and offered little explanation on anything. Throughout the booking process I felt like my travel agent was unorganized asking for information multiple times and sending me emails meant for someone else. They also tried to charge me for the honeymoon package that we qualified for free with the resort. Overall our flights and booking at the resort was done properly but throughout the process I felt like I was uninformed and trying to understand what was going on.
