Lake house is the best facility around. Even though I live on a farm with my own horses, I love coming here for my weekly lessons to socialize with so many amazing people of all ages. I'm constantly making new friends and everyone is so supportive and optimistic here. All the horses and facilities are well cared for, owner is professional and organized (seriously - I don't know how she keeps on top of everything they have on the go!), and the lessons are always great. New exercises and challenges to push you every week. Riders of all levels from brand new to national level competitors will benefit here.

although this is an absolutely beautiful facility to ride at, I don’t think it got my riding anywhere. the coach kept me at a lower level than I was at when i arrived for the whole time I stayed there, when I asked her what I could to to improve she never gave me a clear answer, tack up staff and coaches were professional and somewhat welcoming but I have to say most of the girls riding here aren’t, they constantly shamed people for their riding level and just hung out in the warm room binding from the coaches.

Lake House is a top notch facility with amazing coaching and staff who are very knowledgeable, professional and caring . My horse has never looked better. There are showing opportunities for everyone at any level and they have the best school horses around. Everyone at LHS is super nice and welcoming.

Great outdoor board, bright spacious indoor arena, opportunity to go to a variety of H/J shows. I never have to worry about Crosby when I'm away, knowing Ashley and Dawn both live on the property is very reassuring. Ashley and Andrew have been doing renos/additions/improvements to the facility consistently since we've been at LHS. Lessons and coaching are both constructive and fun!

We have been apart of this barn for 2.5 years and we still love it. My daughter has learned so much and advanced her skills under the guidance of qualified trainers. The facility is professionally operated and the horses are really well cared for. We love being apart of the Lakehouse Family and would recommend it to anyone.

The horses are well cared for. Owner is obnoxious. She is a horrible person to deal with and shouldn’t Deal with people. Coaches are sub par and lessons aren’t very strong technically. Honestly, do your research, other riding centres like Stonewood and Pickering Horse Centre are a much better choice. Have told many people about my experience here who decided to go with other centres and are truly benefiting.

Lake House Stables is beautifully kept, with gorgeous barns, bright and airy arenas, large grass paddocks, heated viewing areas, and an on-site tack shop. The coaching is exceptional, and the staff are knowledgeable and dedicated. Lake House Stables offers lessons, boarding/leasing, clinics, camps, and showing opportunities. Lake House Stables has been our second home for the past 2 1/2 years, and we are incredibly grateful to be a part of the Lake House family.

Took my daughter for her horseback riding class. Viewing area is open again, and limited to only one person per rider. Masks should be worn. The only negative is that there is no A/C - I understand that it's in a barn - or fan for that matter, and it's very warm. My daughter loves her instructor and the horse she trains with. Highly recommend.

We started at Lake House 3 years ago after searching for a show barn that could help my daughter develop from the Blue Star circuit to Trillium. After one year training with Ashley and Dawn my daughter was competing on the A circuit. She learned very quickly under their leadership and hands on coaching techniques. I grew up riding and competing and thought I had retired my spurs once I had kids. It wasn't until my daughter left for university that I realized that I had missed riding. It has brought a new joy into my life that I didn't know I was missing. I have been around "A" circuit trainers for 20 years and Ashley and Dawn are compassionate, intelligent, understanding and knowledgeable trainers. They continue to take courses and learn new techniques to pass onto their students. The horse we board there has personalized turn out and feed program to suit his "sensitive" temperament. I highly recommend this facility to either a beginner rider or someone who wants to show at a competitive level. First class facility!

You had me at “Hello”. From the moment we stepped foot at Lakehouse we were excited to join LHS. Since joining over a year and half ago, things have only gotten better with our riding skills and knowledge about horses. Autumn, John and I have always felt welcomed since the first day. Lakehouse Stables is Large beautiful property. The owners take great pride in their facility. The horses have superior care, again the owner/trainer is personally (hands on) involved in the care of each horse on the property. The Coaching is exceptional. Weather you are just riding for fun or riding to show on the A circuit, you will enjoy your lesson and come away with new information each time. After spending Seven years at other facilities, we can honestly say that we have found a warm and welcoming home.

I have worked and ridden at many barns over the years and Lakehouse definitely tops the list!!! The friendly people (whether it be staff, lesson-goers or boarders) all make the atmosphere so warm and welcoming. The grounds are beautiful and the new outdoor ring is going to be absolutely incredible! I would recommend this spot for anyone looking to start riding or advance their riding career. Lots of showing opportunities on and off property, experienced coaches and amazing horses! Would give it 6 stars if I could!!!

Lake House Stables is a beautiful equestrian facility. Highly trained and certified coaches are amazing with every age group The horses are very happy, well cared for, and tended to diligently! The owners make it there priority to ensure their clients/ horses individual needs are met. We would recommend Lake House Stables to riders of all ages at any skill level!

Lakehouse is a one of the best barns I have ever boarded at. The horses receive amazing care. The facility is top notch and very well cared for. Lessons are informative but fun and groups are well suited. I have seen so many improvements with not only my riding but my confidence over the last year. My horse and I could not be happier we decided to make this our home.
