Sitting here in the parking lot on this beautiful hot saturday looking for a fill and THEY ARE CLOSED. 330 saturday afternoon......really...!!!!!. I have been diving for 33 years. The bulk of my diving is done in July and August. For a dive store to be closed is not very good for business. I happen to work between 10 and 6 Monday to Friday. You might be an awesome store from What I can read on other reviews but as much as I'd like to shop at your store , your hours wont let me. Hard to give a good reviews if I can't make it inside the store. My review is strictly about your hours of operation. The 1 star stand.

We have never scuba dived, and we have never purchased from Brian and his team but my wife (Darla Price) called them three times asking for guidance on learning to dive, diving on vacation and dry scuba for our daughter and Brian and his staff spent their time to educate us, sent us online links and resources - the best customer service we’ve ever had!!! Unless your a big spender you are not welcome here! That is the impression I got . the man was rude at the end of my visit because I didn’t like the prices. It’s better to buy off Kijiji than to buy used from them. The prices are high and durability low in 3mm wet suits. They only sell the stuff used after they rented them out until they are worn out completely hahaha. On Kijiji most wetsuits are worn five times or less. I found a full length wetsuit in great condition for $60 instead of 210+tax.

I am not a diver at all, but I have always loved snorkeling. Over the years I have had cheap masks that fogged up and fins that never fit.... One visit to Dive Source and problem solved. My husband and I started with Dive Source Scuba when the shop was located at an orchard in Whitby. It is the only shop we deal with. It started with snorkeling gear then we decided to take up scuba diving. The instructors and dive matters are the best. Dive Source is the only place we take our gear to be serviced. This hidden gem was a sight for sore eyes when I first stumbled across it on Google Maps from the other side of the world, and it did not disappoint! Dive Source is a small but sufficiently stocked dive shop with a range of products at sensible prices and unrivalled fire many miles around. Whether it's the big ticket dive items you're looking for or just a quick last minute gift, the discerning shopper should be able to find anything they need for the diver in their life. The staff are obviously pretty knowledgeable and it was a delight to visit and make purchases after checking Facebook and the website from afar for 12 months.

I've been a client of Dive Source Scuba since I first started scuba diving nearly two decades ago. The owner Brian and his staff have always bent over backwards to help me out whenever I needed anything, which is why I continue to go back. Recently, after a dive trip I was cleaning one of my regulators and somehow I managed to lose a small, but critical part. I called Dive Source to see if I could get a replacement part and Brian said "no problem". The next time I dropped by the shop, there was an envelope with my name on it, with the missing part. It was even marked "N/C" as I bought my regulators there. Now that's service. Thank-you Brian and Dive Source!

They have competent, knowledgeable staff and are well versed in serving the novice diver to seasoned individuals. The shop staff handle equipment sales in a professional manner and are very clear when comes to explaining the pros and cons of various manufactures and your personal needs. Courses are offered covering all aspects of diving from introduction to dive master as well first aid and oxygen provider and equipment repairs. Had a awful experience with this dive shop. I sighed up for scuba course and had the worst experience. I never wanted to dive again because of the instructor. I ended up taking the course at another shop and had a fantastic experience. The instructor here didn’t care about teaching or helping students. Instead your just a number and they just care about making money and the number of students they certify. I really wish the owner sorted this situation out. I lost all money from the course and almost never dive again. I won’t be here ever again.

I’m so glad I took up SCUBA diving with Dive Source Scuba. After seeing their sign on Bloor Street in Oshawa, I decided to get my initial certification. Brian, Karen, Mark, Marty, and all the staff and fellow divers are an amazing bunch, and have become such good friends too.
