No text no nothing for a entire hour and then my taxi arrives. Let your costumers know when your going to be over half hour like common. Normally its 15-25 minutes and when its going to be longer they let you know. Ya may not seem like anything to you but try explaining to your old lady why your an hour late on a Saturday night

Worst taxi experience - as a taxi company you have 2 jobs: locate where the people are to pick them up, and then drive them there. Not only did we call hours before on the day of, we also called a week earlier to check that they would be able to come to our address. We were told that it was possible, only for us to find out on the day of, after our pre-arranged pick-up time, that it isn't in fact possible and now we are stranded in a forest. Thank you.
Horrible... guy on phone didn’t understand where I was (king and townline) told me it would be a 5-15 min after 30 mins we called back got told “we are working on it, don’t worry” and got hung up on. Waited 10 more minutes cab never came. Really wish I could leave 0 stars

I pre-booked a cab on Dec 24th 2017 for Christmas day at 7:30pm to take my girlfriend, myself, and her son home. So my very overworked older parents would not have to drive us back home. The cab was of course late, so we waited a half hour as it was Christmas. When I called in the agent was extremely rude/arrogant and could not tell me how long the wait would be. Again I gave him and the company the benefit of the doubt and waited another 1/2hr. When again no cab came I called again only to get the same rude/arrogant treatment and no answer as to the wait. At that time I cancelled the booking and my very tired mother drove us home. The next day the 26th. I called in to speak to a manager. The Manager was also extremely rude and arrogant. and told us that "head office" had told them not to tell clients a wait time. After informing her that I had pre-booked, and that with any other cab company pre-books take precedence. And that it takes less that 45mins to clear a cab even if that cab is going out of the city. She still offered no resolution and basically told me "Too bad". I feel quite cheated as Blueline used to be my go-to for a cab here in the city, and I have had zero issues with them before. I have written to head office and am awaiting a reply. But people be warned.
If I could give negative stars I would! This company consistently leaves vulnerable patients waiting at the hospital pre or post treatments. Even if they have been called hours in advance, or have and account with them. They provide you with wano wait time. Tells you they have sent a cab, and no one shows up. Incredibly unprofessional, take your business else where.
We ordered a taxi for my girlfriend's son. The driver drove to whitby instead of Hampton where we live. He threatened my gf who refused tomoay for driving to whitby. Location was clearly explained to dispatch. They tried to Bill us for driving to whitby, which was the drivers error. The driver was rude and threatening. My gf almost had to phone police on him. This service is not professional. Use Uber, it's safer.

Have used them for various events without major problems. Taxis arrived promptly. Didn't hear of any issues. All of my cab drivers have been courteous and professional. The territory non sense is a little silly though.
Blueline Taxis are rude and ignorant about the rules of the road. Their drivers break laws (driving through pedestrian crossings while pedestrians walk through) and honk at drivers who refuse to break that law. Honestly, it's 2017, if you need a drive you should probably just call an Uber. But if you need to call a taxi, trust me, do NOT call blueline.

I don't use a taxi as I have my own car. But on Friday night I had one of their driver almost hit my car multiple times as my 8 year old step son was in the car. The driver was reckless and racing down Bloor st in Oshawa as I tried to get his cab number. I called the company to put in a complaint about how this driver was and how he endangered other people's live with his action and they were so rude on the phone. Next time it happens cops will be involved since this company does not want to take the proper action against its drivers. Blueline Taxi your nothing but a joke and a disgrace to other taxi companies.

Cab drivers are good Dispatch ppl are awful Had a very polite nice dispatch person today around 10am called Mohsin, he was amazing. Booked a cab to pick me up for 1130 for a business trip to via rail Oshawa. At 1120 am a very very rude dispatcher called me to let me know he has to cancel ride and to call Blueline ajax, asked him to connect me to Blueline ajax and he refused and instead gave me a number to call. Called the number and it was Blueline Oshawa again. Should be fired. Nearly missed my business train today. Wil never use or recommend Blueline ever again.

My cab driver asked me the usual questions that all cab drivers ask in order to be pleasant. However, when I told him I was on the hunt for an apartment he decided to turn off the meter and take me for a tour of some of the apartment's near by. He obviously did not care that I had asked him not to, said no, & told him I didn't want to go. He took me for a drive anyways. A trip that should have taken 10 minutes turned into a terrifying 30 minute experience. I was absolutely stunned when I got home. I immediately called my boyfriend. We both called blue line taxi to make a complaint. First he talked to a man named Brian who promised to make a complaint & call us back. However, when we called back 2 days later & talked to Mandy, she said nothing was in the computer for our compliant. Mandy only made excuses for her driver. Said he was a nice guy, likes to help people, is very sweet. I continually told her that her driver damn near kidnapped me for 30 minutes and that I had been afraid for my life while he drove me aimlessly around to look at apartments. It got to the point where I threatened to call the cops. Today I received a $10 coupon. I ripped it up and threw it in the garbage.

Called a cab and was qouted a five minute wait time. 30 minutes go by and I call them for an update and then I was told I will have over an hour to wait. No apologies but a rude hang up.
Every case is different, but I use Blue line once a week and its always been great. Their tracking app is also great.
Called them at 8:15 was told they would only be 5-10 minutes. So i waited in my lobby, called then back at 8:35. They said a driver hasn't accepted my cab request and gave me no time. I start work at 9:00am. So i called Citywide which came within 10 minutes. Still heard nothing back from Blueline UNTIL 9:07am saying a taxi is on Route!!!???? Company is horrible and their phone operator was even worse.

I wish I was able to rate them with no stars. I regularly travel with a physically disabled person and have had many issues securing a proper taxi to and from the pharmacy. I will not use this service again, and would not recommend this company for taxi service.
I took taxi on 17 march at 10.30 am from 784 Stevenson Road north. Cab came on time but the driver was so rude. He didn't even say a hi also.
Called them twice in an hour and a half first time I waited for the cab to arrive got a text stating D41 was enroute then phone call says no cab was there to which it was not then I phoned dispatch a second time and they said someone was picked up but yet it was not us or our address they were going to and they said they would send a second cab to which they did not send one at all this company needs to seriously start doing the job they are supposed to do this is totally stupid and definitely not worth the money or time spent driving cabs if they can't do simple job as this

I don't even want to give this company one star. It's pouring rain out, thundering, and so my Boyfriend wanted a cab so he didn't have to walk in the rain. This bad experience started with a confusing call to order the taxi, the lady on the line was very confusing and it made for an awkward phone call. But this is no big deal, you can easily look past this. I live in a complex, so we are watching from the window as the taxi pulls into the complex, and we see the cab turn the wrong way. So we wait, and my boyfriend gets a call saying they are here. So he tells them he's looking outside the house and doesn't see them, the begin to argue with him that they are here and fight with him about it, and then realizes he has the unit number wrong. You would thing the cab would then relocate to the right unit right? Well instead he asks my boyfriend to go look for him, like I said it was storming outside. But my boyfriend leaves and as he's walking towards the cab, he starts leaving. So he then has to chase after the cab, and when the cab finally notices, he turns on the metre, then turns around, and then picks up my boyfriend. So not only was he charged extra, he also didn't show up to the asked location. I will never be calling this Taxi company again.

Cabs go right past you or pick up different people. Happened on numerous occasions. Tracking is very slow. Cabs take way to long to arrive. Last cab was putting multiple face masks on while driving and swerving

This is all true. The taxi driver ripped us off in our own driveway, saying he didn't have the 20 dollars that we already gave the driver when we got in. The driver demanding the 20 dollars, would not leave our property until we did give him the 20 dollars. Also, the driver was threatening to call the police if we didn't give him the 20 dollars that the driver already had. When we did give him the 20 dollars, the driver almost crushed our garbage bins on his way out. Never call this taxi service, unless you want to get ripped off.

For the second time in 3 weeks I attempted to call a taxi from my home location which I have used for years with no issue. 3 weeks ago, and then today, I called and it is only a voice automated machine to speak to. I reply to the prompts with my location which the machine understood and replied back with said location. I then got stuck in a loop in which the machine asks me to reply YES or NO to the location it repeats back to me. I said yes. It said "I cannot understand that answer, please reply with YES or NO. it repeated the location I initially said -which it obviously had no issue in my speech to understand. This machine cannot understand me replying with YES 6 times after. I hung up and called another company after wasting quite a few minutes. I will not try again after this being the second time with the exact same issue.

Pre booked a handicap accessible taxi for Christmas Day 1-2 months in advance, they sent us a confirmation message and when we booked they told us they had no reservations for that day, blue line called on December 23rd at 7:30pm to tell us that they have cancelled our reservation because they were all booked up, complete trash, don’t use blue line!
When I call for a cab you would expect that it would be understood that I will be in your vehicle until such time as it takes me to get home. I do not appreciate entering a vehicle, albeit, with a very chatty, friendly driver, when it stinks to the nines of cigarettes. VERY VERY unpleasant 12 minutes of my life

Terrible. Booked a day in advance online, car didn't come. Called 6:40am, told me on its way. Nothing. Called again 6:50, still nothing. Car finally came close to 7 my train was leaving 719 and I barely made it. Dispatcher tries to blame me saying I booked an "accessible" cab online. There wasn't an option, and even if I did, it didn't come and they had a full day notice. Driver told me they didn't actually dispatch a car until I called the second time at 650. So even after I called the first time telling them your car isn't here, they didn't dispatch a cab. Even the driver told me they get blamed for the stupid errors at dispatch. Look elsewhere for a taxi.
Called a cab to my house, they didn't show so after 30 minutes we called and they told us we didn't live at a valid address on their end. Last week we ordered a cab that did show, the driver explained to us that they have outsourced their call service and it is now out of country, so they have no idea of the area and are of no help whatsoever. Sorry to the drivers themselves, but I would never recommend using or relying on this service.

They are so hit and miss. The car I got on Saturday stunk of smoke, was covered in dog hair and appeared to have several spilled cups of coffee...any Covid precautions? Tonight I called to pre-book for a hospital appointment and requested a van or SUV as I have just had surgery on a fractured arm and can't get in and out of a small car. Apparently, this request "is not possible" and I'll have to call and take my chances.

I live in an apartment on the 12th floor, about 1 km from their office. I had to be at the hospital for a procedure and I called the taxi in plenty of time and figured it would get me there a way ahead of time (p.s. I used to drive cab in Toronto so I know how the industry works). They never showed up! I had to ask the Super of our building to get me there and I paid him for the trip. This is the second time they didn't show up, the first time they said they had been here but we weren't there which is a total lie. If they couldn't wait 2 minutes for us to get down in the elevator they they don't get any more business from me.
Although I would prefer to wait less than an hour or so for a taxi on holidays, I give Blue Line taxi service five stars. Over the five years of using their service, the operators and drivers have been most respectful and courteous to me and my children whenever we use their service. They have also been considerate for example, last summer, my daughter and I paid approximately $50 to get my son to Bowmanville. We were going to take the bus back to Oshawa and the driver offered to bring us back for twenty dollars. He even dropped us off at the door we wanted at the Oshawa Center where we were going! We didn't have to wait for half an hour in the heat for the bus, then trek through the mall before doing our shopping. Thank you to Blue Line. They really deserve their five stars just for that one act of consideration.
Called them because the other taxi service in town said it would be a 45 min wait. The woman who answered my call was polite and efficient. They sent a text confirming my taxi and a tracking connection so I could confirm how long it would be before the taxis arrival. Taxi arrived on time, was clean and the taxi driver was very pleasant. He also had a maps app up on a tablet so you could see his exact route and when you would arrive. All in all an excellent experience and I would use Blueline again.

More than once this cab company hasnt shown. I call the company to let them know and they say to wait for another one, then that one doesn't show. Over an hour I gave up. Guy on one phone was rude, no help. Call another company to save yourself a hassle.
They refused to drive me to Whitby from Oshawa because I wanted to get dropped off at an intersection and they demanded an exact address.. I just wanted to get dropped off at the Petro Canada.. anyways there is a reason they have a 2Star rating as of November 11, 2019. I've edited this review because I then called Taxi Taxi and ordered a cab but when it arrived it was a blueline taxi. I was confused and the driver told me that Blueline owned taxi taxi. I felt duped. Taxi taxi dispatch had no problem dropping me at the intersection and inevitably it turned out to be blueline anyways. But for them to send a blueline taxi with no explanation just left a strange feeling and overall I felt it was a dishonest tactic. The whole situation seems unethical and therefore I would reccomend that people dont use either taxi service in Oshawa. Beware
Wasted over an hour waiting for a taxi to show. I called after waiting 40 minutes and was told that I was 3rd in line. Called after another 40 minutes and was told the exact same thing. They have no one on the road and won't say that. Ridiculous!
This company is a joke. I was just driving and one of their drivers cut me off very dangerously and acted like he had no idea. I called the company everytime I say what my problem is they transfer me to a fake extension or something I cannot get in touch with anyone they will not even ask me the issue or take my information. They just say please hold and that's it. These drivers have no concern about our safety. The foriegn receptionists I dont even think are located in this country. This is why UBER will dominate
Their debit machine was down and the only way for me to pay was via cash. They then drove me to an ATM to get the cash but also charged me for the ride to the ATM and home. I argued this with both the driver and dispatch in which they both told me I was in the wrong and should have had cash available even though upon the start of the ride the driver stated it was working.
The dispatcher quoted me 10-15 mins. the driver was there in less than 5. He was nice and helpful. The reason for the 5 star is I left my phone in the bench in front of the store I got picked up from. I was panicking. The driver checked all over his car and then offered to go back and check the store. He went and came back with my phone in his hand. I am so grateful to him.

I wanted to book a wheelchair accessible taxi to take my mother yo a doctor’s appointment. I left two messages on two separate days. No one ever called back. I think LINH should remove them from their website as a possible service provider. I can only assume they are not interested in doing business.
Slow to show up
I have a neighbor who is visually impaired. There were a couple hiccups a couple years ago. The drivers have been nothing but exceptional humans since then. Making sure they get in their home safely. Thank you Blue Line
Called for a cab last night. Call came it was approaching. Got ready and went out. Saw the cab leaving. Dispatch called. I told them " Your guy is driving away!!! Tell him to back up!!". Dispatch advised " No worries! He won't leave you!". Saw the reverse lights come on and cab start backing up. A man came out and jumped in the cab and the cab left. I was standing in the rain ...No cab for me!! Thanks Blueline. Flawless system! In case you missed it, that was sarcasm! I won't use your company again! Left a woman alone in the rain at 12am!

Driver got lost finding the place when your app got it within seconds. Didn't know the street I lived on and had to describe the location. Went to take a less then direct route and then tried to argue the merits of his choice. Driven then took the 'back way' to my place showing he knew damn well where I lived. Got to the door and was told cash only. After I got money from the house I noticed the debit machine on his seat. One of the shadier taxis I've had to take.
They have the WPRST customer service women as dispatch. 5 minute wait was an hour and a no-show even though I called 3 times to check where my driver was. When he finally arrived he did 110 in a 60 zone. Talk about near death experience.
I ordered a wheelchair cab pick up for my elderly father. I was sent a text message to confirm it's imminent arrival. It never arrived and my 87 year old father waited over 90 minutes. When I phoned to find out why, I was put through to the complaint department, told to hold on a second, and then after holding for 20 minutes, was not connected. There is no reason for that type of customer service. I will need to find another wheelchair accessible service in the area.
Blueline gave a 10 minute wait time. Waited over an hour before calling to cancel - just to find out that they had switched to an automated service and I could not cancel my call. Called CityWide Taxi instead -- told me it could take up to 30 minutes. They picked me up inside of 10 minutes. I had been told before not to call Blueline, for various reasons -- now I know why. That will be the first and last time I call them. You lost a customer for life, Blueline. Very unprofessional to leave someone waiting on the curb for over an hour when you tell them you'll be there in 10 minutes.
VERY CONCERNING INCIDENT Today I witnessed a heated occurrence between a Blueline Taxi driver and an SUV driver which was very concerning on multiple levels, ranging on the mild side from unabashed rudeness and escalating to an indefensible usage of the racial card. The driver of the SUV trailed by a Blueline Taxi was attempting to park his vehicle in a marked parking space at Teddy's plaza on the corner of King St W and Park Rd S. The SUV driver pulled into the parking lot and signaled his intent to back into a parking space.. all good. The taxi driver came up behind him stopping within a couple of feet of the SUV's rear bumper. This is something one sees frequently and it is always the person following that is responsible to maintain a reasonable distance from the person in front. However, often folks follow to closely and most of us are used to this and perhaps tolerant of it in our fast paced cities. The decent thing to do it such a situation is to back up a few feet allowing the vehicle in front the opportunity to park. Particularly in this situation, where the cab driver had no one behind him to prevent him from quickly and simply backing up a few feet. Instead he decided to flex his ego, extended in the form of his 1.5 ton cab, by not budging. While the SUV could have simply moved on and looked for another space, he certainly shouldn't be expected to and every now and then it's right that one should stand up for what is proper. The SUV driver done everything a decent person should do in that situation: 1) Wait a moment without hitting his horn or being aggressive, giving the cab a moment to back up. 2.) Gesturing appropriately to the cab he wanted to back in. 3) After no response from the cab, getting out of his vehicle and approaching the cab driver asking him to politely move 4) SUV driver returned to his vehicle expecting cab to move and still the cab won't budge 5) Attempting to approach and ask the cab one more time to move. After all this, instead of backing up a few feet, the cab driver decides to pull up and pass the SUV on it's left side (passenger side) in a ballsy tight pass between the SUV and the row of parked cars, undoubtedly an aggressive move that only served to escalate the situation. The cab driver having passed the SUV pulled over approx. 20-30 from the SUV to let his fare paying passenger out. The SUV promptly parked his vehicle approached the cab driver to voice his disappointment and then took a picture of the rear of the cab and the driver to presumably report his reprehensible actions. As an outside observer and business owner, I was appalled at the cab driver's lack of respect and rude actions, particularly considering that this driver actions were reflecting poorly on a well know business. Having seen this, I decided to approach the cab driver seated in the cab and express my concerns. Calmly and respectfully but with a firm tone, I told him that his behaviour was rude and grossly inappropriate. Belligerently he responded that I could do whatever I wanted. I followed up with telling him that his behaviour was a very poor reflection upon Blueline Taxi. At that point he began yelling at me calling me a racist. Noting how enraged he became and seeing that a rational conversation wasn't going to ensue, I walked to the back of the cab to take pictures of the License and cab number, so as to report him to his office. After this the cabbie's passenger exited the cab appearing fraught with concern, having just witnessed her driver become unglued. All this was so unnecessary and easily avoidable but for an ego driven, disrespectful cabbie. I may not have written this review or have thought, necessarily, poorly of the Blueline Taxi company, chalking the incident up to mild example of road rage by an employee having a terrible day, except for the fact of Blueline' apathetic response when I reported this to them. They did not apologize for their driver's behaviour nor did they thank me for reporting it to them. Unfortunately, word limit reached..
Don't use them they steal cell phone and pretend they can't get in touch with the driver and about a hour Oh we don't have it. Even if you just get out of the taxis and realize you forgot your phone and turn around and they drive off ????????.
It took 1 hour to show up and no choice to take uber whichbis a better service

BLUELINE - Driver's plate codes 19 and 79 specifically - are the rudest company I have ever encountered!! Wednesday evening, around 7:15pm, I exited the Oshawa go train station and walked up to the first cab. I had come from an appointment in Hamilton that I was unable to change, despite the fact that I had injured my back only two days before. Having to walk in from the second parking lot down the road in the morning was difficult enough, but after two long train rides and a busy day my back was in excruciating pain. On top of it all, my zipper had broken on my jacket and I returned to bitter and windy weather. Normally I would not have even thought of taking a cab but it was all too much and the thought of making it back to my car was even more. I got into the first cab and said where I wanted to go. The driver replied "I've been waiting here for an hour, why don't you walk?". Despite proceeding to explain the injured back and broken zipper, the driver yelled at me to get out and walk. When I asked are they not supposed to take any fare that requests them, he replied that he didn't care. Heading to the second cab, I was obviously in a very bad mood. I said to the second driver that the first cab refused to take me. He asked where I wanted to go and when I replied he yelled at me that he had been waiting there for two hours and that I had to walk. The same conversation ensued with me leaving in an even worse mood. Not only was their behaviour horrendous, but there is no way that they had been waiting one and two hours respectively without leaving for a more lucrative location. I mean, did 2 to 4 trains really come in without anyone raking a cab?? I ended up walking very cold and super sore to my car in the parking lot down the road. I know it's not an insanely far distance, but given the circumstances I was not doing well by the time I got there. I called the cab company to be told that their complaint department was not currently available. They took my name and number and told me they would be in touch. It is now Friday at 10:31pm and I, of course, have not heard a word. The whole situation was deplorable from every aspect. If anyone has been unsure about uber, I'm here to tell you not to be. I have used uber many times and have never been treated with anything but friendliness and respect. Again, the taxi company that behaved so badly is BLUELINE and the drivers plate codes are 19 and 79.
Muhammad was my driver, and what a kind, humble, and joyous man he was! So nice and engaging, but not over the top! He shared a lot of interesting details about his life and culture, and showed interest in mine, he wished me luck on my date with the utmost sincerity! God bless that man!
Cab drove past and dud not stop to pick me up. They sent a second cab after I phoned back. Driver was fine.
