Hello everyone. My name is Casim Bahadar. We have conducted travelling through Ajaz Khan, a travel agent for the last 5+ years when we were looking to go to visit Pakistan. Every time we were looking for business seats, he would procure and give us an excellent rate and service on the tickets and is always very personable. We love talking and getting our tickets through him whenever we need to go and we highly recommend our family and friends to use him if they ever need to go to Pakistan. As you know there was travel restrictions and troubles due to Covid-19 these last couple months and my dad and I were a couple of the people caught stuck in Pakistan. We were required to purchase another set of tickets for the special flight to Canada that we had to take. We were annoyed and obviously looking for a refund on the tickets that we didn’t get to use through PIA and when we told Ajaz about this, he speedily and efficiently is working on getting us the refund we are looking for currently but this is one example to show how above and beyond he will go for his clients. Pathetic service - They booked my 3yrs old daughter on separate ticket. Because of which I have to fight with authorities to have her seated with Parents. I paid $40 person to GalaTravels to get seats in same row and when I went to the Toronto AirPort, Air Canada clearly denied the seats in same row. The best travel agency I have found, bar none. We have used them many times for more than ten years, and they have always been excellent. You can shop online to find the best deal on exactly what you want, and the price you see is the price you pay -- never any plus taxes and fees nonsense. Occasionally the online system is slightly inadequate. Right now it is trying to book me into Bombay on an international flight and out again on a domestic flight with a time between flights of one hour and twenty minutes. Anyone who knows India knows that is impossible. But a simple phone call is all it will take to fix that.

They solved all my issues, replied at all hours of the day, and provided me with the support I absolutely needed to get through this. I have previously been the type of person who would try to book my own flights online but I will never do that ever again - the support you get from the team at Gala is 2nd to none. And in this crazy time of COVID, you have no idea how much you might need this type of support while you are abroad. And it wasn't more expensive - I compared flights they were finding with what I could find online on my own and they always provided a better rate! Use Gala Travels for all your travel needs - you WILL NOT REGRET IT!!!

I just want to commend Pamela Kapila for her outstanding service. I was panicking as it was a Sunday 04th June at 5.30am and the office was closed. I called Pamela Kapila early in the morning waking her up from her sleep and without hesitation took my call and went straight to her PC and started the process. Her expertise and knowledge of the system was extra ordinary and she took control of the problem of the cancellation of the flight and calmed me down and said not to worry everything is under control and that by Monday morning I will finalize everything for your wife and change the dates of her return flight. Pathetic... I wife had the travel document , she had to get the transit visa for that but they didnt say... at airport we had to come back losing $600+ dollars to reschedule our flight... my friend had the same story he again had to reschedule by paying penalty... it seems they have some sort of connection with airline or agents who pay them the amount back which customer loses. When i called the airline they say its not always a customer has to pay for the flight rescheduling first time its mostly no charge.

SAVE YOUR MONEY AND BUY YOUR TICKETS SOMEWHERE ELSE. THEY WILL OFFER YOU THE MOST EXPENSIVE TICKETS. First I tried to book 2 tickets on their website, but I couldn't cos there was a glitch in their system. Each ticket was $270. Total for both were $540. So I sent an email with a screen shot of the billing page clearly stating 2 passengers and the total for both tickets. On that same day, there were tickets on another website for $300 each. Since I thought that I could save more with Gala Travels, I didn't buy tickets from another website. The next day, the agent called offering tickets for $500 total. The whole phone call I was under the impression that she knew I was booking for 2 people. It was slightly cheaper so I agreed. Then she found another deal with a total of $410. I was thinking wow that was a really good deal. So we settled with that. The next few days, I checked my credit card bill only to find out that I am being charged for $410 EACH TICKET. I was shocked, because on the phone, the agent never clarify that $410 is for each person! On top of that, I was being charged for $100 from IATA Canada which she never mentioned to me. THE FACT THAT SHE OFFERED ME THE MOST EXPENSIVE TICKETS REALLY BOTHERS ME. I called and unfortunately the tickets are non-refundable. To convert the tickets to future credits will cost me $200 charge per ticket. I brought up about the IATA charged, and she said that she mentioned that to me that the total fare of each ticket will be $455. I could assure you that in the bill that she sent to me, it stated $410. She tried to blame me that she told me on the phone. If she had told me, I WOULD HAD NEVER AGREED TO THAT PRICE. I was only given $200 credit at the end. WORST TRAVEL AGENT EVER. DON'T USE THEIR SERVICE.

I will do 2 reviews on my experience with Gala. 1 for the booking and the 2nd after the trip in May. Reviewing my booking experience. I called in and Fatema answered my call. It was a great experience right from the get go. She gave me 5 options for the Dominican based on my criteria. We were booking for 11 people from 3 different airports in Canada. So not your usual and easy booking. Fatema was very proactive, responsive and truly great to work with. She never rushed to just finish her day. She made sure all the proper process was taken so there was no issues for the booking. In the end we are all booked for a trip in May and we cannot wait. Thank you for your attention to detail Fatema. Once again I will do a review of how the trip went when I get back from it in May.

bought my ticket online and an agent called me to confirm my last name, he did not made the changes I asked him to and when I realized they were very rude on the phone and blamed me for not checking with them earlier. I called Delta (the airline I am flying with) and they told me the agency only called and asked for name change, they did not follow procedure that is why the airline could not help. Delta provided great customer service and while they did charge me for their mistake they helped me within 10 min

I usually book air fare tickets through online sites. A few years ago, during one such instance, I came across Gala Travels on the site Cheapflights which showed a comparison of rates from different sites and agents. I booked a Gala Travels fare through Cheapflights and one of their employees sent me an e-ticket and I saved their contact details for future use. Recently, we had a travel requirement which could not be booked through online and hence I contacted Gala. I spoke to Taj Thaver and she initially sent me a quote. I was comparing her quote with other agents and was undecided. She did follow up on her quote and asked me about what I thought about the quote and she will be happy to assist. My wife wanted to ask a lot of questions related to the fare and also wanted to make changes to the flights. Background of the problem: I was flying from Toronto to Bhopal on Oct 27, 2017 by Jet Airways and one day before my travel, got a text from JetAirways that my flight was cancelled. More over it was my brother's wedding. I started shaking, called the airline but no help, then called Gala Travels and I felt relieved and lucky that I have booked the ticket from them. I called one of their employee called Ms PAM KAPILA (now I have lot of respect for her and the company she works for). After I changed my ticket for 3 times I asked them to cancel it and give me my refund. After doing a thorough search on the internet for my ticket prices which I was looking to book a year in advance but, was advised that the rates are only published 11 month prior. Here I thought I was going to inquire about rates, get some general information but, the rates provided were so fantastic and competitive that within hour half my trip was booked and confirmed. Had a great customer experience with Pam. I had done a couple of complicated online bookings for 5 passengers in the morning and Pam did a series of follow-ups throughout the day, to ensure that the ticketing was completed. I had spent a couple of days trying to find reasonable fares during the peak travel season in Dec/Jan to India. At the end, I was very pleased with the airfare rates that were available through Gala which saved us a huge amount of cash in the thousands (for 5 tickets). I have use various travel agents in the past, but will now stick to Gala due to Pam and Gala's low rates

1 star rating is a bit too much. I literally had the worst airticketing experience ever just because i wanted to book at a cheaper price. They have very low prices unfortunately pathetic customer service (literally). I had booked a ticket from YVR-LAX, received the confirmation email as well. Later (hours later) they called saying its not confirmed as they couldnt accept the payment and advised me to use a different payment method, which I did. The agent named Yousuf failed to follow up and confirm my ticket, in short he was just playing around (he sounded high all the time and couldnt comprehend a thing i said). I asked to speak to the supervisor Jaini, who assured would get back to me, never returned or answered my calls. This whole process went on for more than 24 hours (i know! seriously) so i had to cancel the payment and rebook from another website which ended up costing me more than the initial. Stay away from these guys, they dont know how to do business. Its better to be sure of getting your ticket on time and spend a little more than having to have mindless conversations for hours with these guys.
