Brian is an amazing host. We had a memorable tour around Oak Bay and Discovery Island, with Brian sharing local history and stories along the way. We feel so lucky to have seen the memorials to Takaya on Discovery Island. We had the best day out on the water with Brian of Oak Bay Tours the moment we stepped on his boat and made our introductions. We were then outfitted with a PFD and given safety instructions. We appreciated his attention to these details. We had a private tour with four of us in our group. Brian is easy going, friendly and very knowledgeable about the area. He provided a lot of interesting facts and stories. We had such an enjoyable time and we learned many new things. Our captain, Brian was very knowledgeable, friendly and extremely patient. He was very knowledgeable about the marine life of Oak Bay waters and islands . We booked a family tour w/ kids with Captain Brian, highly recommended by our friends. He was keen on giving detailed explanation for context, and a wonderful operator. I don't know what he could have done better, because the outing was iconic and perfect. We were able to see seals, cormorants, and eagles. And getting close enough to hear their every breath and see them gracefully move through the water. The boat tour was amazing and I know it made an impact with the kids. This tour is a must! David

Outstanding, thank you so much Brian! Highly recommend this tour. It's like hanging out with an old friend for a few hours on the water! Our little party of 3 felt well looked after in super safe hands. The wealth of local knowledge Brian shared and his care and love for the environment made it even more enjoyable. Can't express how wonderful it was to spend our afternoon watching wildlife, sightseeing familiar neighbourhoods from the water and having an awesome crab feast from freshly caught crab! Oak Bay Tours offers an excellent selection of unique and personalized tours for small groups. A perfect way to learn about the local sea life and habitats from a very knowledgeable and personable Skipper and owner. My cousin and husband were visiting from Australia and were wowed. Even as locals we learned and saw so much. We collected a few crabs from the traps Brian Glennon set beforehand and had a wonderful feast that evening. We recommend Oak Bay Tours for locals and visitors and will be planning another trip next year. We have scheduled 2 tours with Oak Bay Tours in the last 2 months. One for a cousin and wife visiting from Ontario in August and then a belated celebration of a friends 50th Birthday this past weekend. Each time we learn something new and both times our guests were beyond thrilled. Brian is so knowledgeable on the ocean and wildlife and creates a great and memorable experience. Catching crab for an on board lunch was the icing on the cake. We had 2 crab licenses and caught 7 beautiful Dungeness. This is a perfect experience for locals and visitors alike.

A beautiful honeymoon getaway in Victoria, Brian's private boat tour around Oak Bay was the highlight of our holiday. Brian is a kind, polite, and professional tour guide who made us feel right at home on his boat with him for our two-hour trip. His knowledge of the area's geography, flora, fauna, history, and culture was very impressive. The tour was as informative as it was thrilling! He also treated us to his unbeatably delicious home-made iced tea to top it off. Thanks Brian.

The entire experience was flawless! From the moment I reached out to enquire about the tours/schedules which by the way Brian responded promptly, to the entire experience on the boat. He was very attentive, knowledgable and accommodating. Safety was first at all times and the boat was in pristine conditions. Sanitizer and masks were offered and he wore a mask at all times. He made us feel as if we had known each other for many years. Great rapport! There was not a thing that I would suggest for improvement. He really takes care of his business to detail. He kept us engaged and with great conversation. Payment was not an issue as he accepts all forms of payment. Can’t recommend him enough. Brian took my 91 yr old uncle plus other family members to Darcy Island for an afternoon. My uncle has always wanted to see the island. It turned out to be a wonderful experience for all seven of us. Brian was great and the tour he gave us was fun, relaxing and informative. He even caught fresh crab and cooked it up for us while we were on the island. Too decadent :) My uncle was so happy with the trip.

Had a great day on the boat with Brian and our family. He was very flexible, we were able to do some fishing, some crabing, site seeing, and we even saw some Orcas. The best part was Brian is knows a lot about the islands and the ecosystem he shared with us. Would recommend him to anyone.

Going on a tour of the Oak Bay area with Brian of @oakbaytours was a wonderful experience. The comfort of his boat, his knowledge of the areas history, ecology and folklore was both educational and entertaining. My friends and I enjoyed our adventure on the sea. We feasted on crab that evening that was caught while we cruised. I would highly recommend Oak Bay Tours and Brian. We had an amazing afternoon going out to Chatham and Discovery Islands with Brian of Oak Bay Tours. Being locals to Victoria, we rarely get out on the water and Brian was a wonderful captain and knowledgeable guide. A highlight for me was seeing Takaya's mural on Discovery Island and all the seals, cormorants, herons and other bird species. An unexpected bonus was taking home freshly caught crabs for dinner that night. The tour was a fun and wonderful experience with a great host. We highly recommend Oak Bay Tours and plan on doing another tour with Brian next spring.

In addition, Brian was incredibly patient with the inquisitive 7 year old in our party, using humour to keep him engaged. Brian was an excellent captain and narrator! His knowledge of the area was vast and interesting. My daughters and I felt safe on the boat and could enjoy the lovely scenery. My sisters and I had a memorable experience last week with Brian of Oak Bay Tours . From the beginning I was impressed with his quick response to my inquiries in setting up our trip. We were celebrating the lives of our father and my sister's husband. Brian was very kind and accommodating at a time that was quite emotional for us. He even offered a relaxing cup of tea as we took in the moment. The boat was very clean and comfortable and we enjoyed a leisurely motor around the Oak Bay water front. Brain shared his knowledge of the history of the area and created a relaxed atmosphere for us. We thank him for making this day special for us.

Brian runs great tours. His boat is setup perfectly with every safety feature you could possibly want. The tour was awesome taking in the beautiful scenery we live with and a feast of wildlife. We had the opportunity to have Brian give us a tour of the shoreline and islands around Victoria. It was a wonderful experience. he was knowledgeable, funny, interesting and ensured we enjoyed our time on the water. He demonstrated thoughtfulness and was a great tour guide that clearly respected his community and nature. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants a different perspective of the area around Victoria and its marine nature. Brian is an extraordinary caption and a delight to lead a tour in the Oak Bay / Victoria area. My wife, Sue and I, had a terrific 3 hours exploring and seeing marine wildlife and scenery. Brian is extremely knowledgeable about the area - history and the animals and vegetation - both above and below the water. We highly recommend him and his boat for a tour whether you are local (as we are) or visiting the area.
