Kara was amazing in helping plan our destination wedding, I honestly don't know how I would have done it without her. She truly went above and beyond to ensure that everything was perfect. We were a group of 55 travelling from 10 different cities & Kara was great with our ever changing and last minute bookings & our many issues with Air Canada. Kara is so easy to work with, she was prompt in answering my many emails at all times of the day and her co-ordination with the resort made our wedding planning process so much less stressful! You can clearly see how passionate Kara is about destination weddings and it makes a huge difference compared to other travel agents. I would 100% recommend her to anyone looking for a destination wedding travel agent or planner!

Kara is the best!! I would HIGHLY recommend you use a travel agent. It made our life so much easier. We had multiple rooms cancelled with name changes throughout the process, saving our cancelled guest their deposit and letting others come after the deposit date passed. I can only imagine the headache if we didn't have Kara. She was responsive at 5AM fly day when an issue came up with a guest was not able to check in and was worried her flying out of the wrong airport. Not only was she responsive the day of the flight but always got back to us immediately throughout the entire process (almost scary quick). We also found Kara through pinterest and were lucky that she was from Edmonton and we got to meet with her to go over resorts and carriers before making our final resort choice.

Love At First Travel is more than just your average wedding vendor/planning company. Kara truly encompasses what it means to be a travel specialist - often going above and beyond her role to ensure that the wedding party and guests have a safe and stress free trip from beginning to end. I can't thank Kara enough for her professionalism and caring nature. I had a bit of a health scare during my trip and Kara not only ensured that I was taken care of, but she travelled to the clinic with me, comforted me, as well as connected with my partner throughout the afternoon to ensure that he was kept in the loop with what had transpired. This all happened on the actual day of the wedding (in between ceremony and reception), so the fact that she was able to balance communications between the bridal party, while assisting with my needs was greatly appreciated. If you are looking to book a destination wedding, or any special event Kara is your go-to travel specialist!

Not sure if they’re just super busy but I inquired with them initially on April 10, 2021 and at first everything seemed awesome! I got a response right away but then communication kind of fell off after that. At some point in May I was told that the agent was busy working on current weddings but that she would request quotes within the next couple weeks. I heard back june 2nd that a supplier didn’t yet have quotes available for November 2022 travel which is fine, but that’s one supplier. I ended up working with another travel agency and received quotes and information about two - three weeks after inquiring and I’ve chosen to work with them. It’s a Communication and timing thing for me...

Kara is so professional, informative and easy to work with. She made the whole wedding planning process very easy and stress free. We choose Kara because she had a destination wedding herself, so I knew she could provide us with both travel agent recommendations and personal recommendations. She was extremely easy to contact and would often even email us back when my husband would email her at all hours of the day. Even during our wedding week in Mexico, one of my guests had to return home early; Kara was able to be contacted easily, made alternate travel arrangements and ensured my guests made it home safely. Kara checked up on us during our wedding week to make sure we did not need anything from her end and of course checked in on us when we got home! Kara is amazing and I will forever recommend her to every single person getting married (even trying to convince some people to book a destination wedding so they can use Kara!). Thank you Kara!
