You may have noticed that it reaches an opinions average is very positive, and it's founded on a large number of opinions, so we can think that the rating is quite credible. If many people have bothered to value when they've done well, is that it works.
As you know, we don't usually stop to write feddbacks when these are positive and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or issue...

Thr aurora viewing spot is better than Aurora Village. The dog sled is so so.
Awesome trip around the lake!
I don’t like this place
That was the biggest smile i can remember. Such a great memory i get to enjoy for a lifetime.

(Translated) If you're going to Yellowknife to see the aurora, you'll definitely want to participate in the dogsled tour during the day. The owner of this company, Grant Vex, is a dog sled pro who has won many races around the world. Other tours often run old tourist dogs, but these dogs are young and healthy. The running speed is clearly different. It is more interesting to steer than just sitting and riding! The dog sled runs at a tremendous speed, so on cold days the head temperature can be as low as 30 ° C. Put a disposable body warmer on your shoulders, waist and soles of your feet, cover your face well, and take on the complete cold protection.

This was a well run dog sled tour, although the tour itself was only half hour long, it was a lot of fun and we got to talk to the head guy Grant Beck about the dogs before heading out with him on our sled.
The staff will take care of everything. They are very accommodating and made for an incredible experience. English instruction is available. highly recommend the tours.
Our dog sledging experience was ruined by one of their rudest employee. She was one of the exceptionally rude person with no idea about how to treat customers. This was on 20th Jan, they rescheduled that day (1PM to 3PM) but when I got late by 5 minutes due to my 3 year old kid had to go restroom last minute, she literally screamed at me in front of everyone in Van. She made us go last on the sledging due to the same, which was all fine but then she did unthinkable. She almost broke my kid's leg by making an full grown adult sit on his leg in sledge. She had no idea about kids or showed any sympathy towards their first experience in sledging. If you have young kids, this is not the service you would like to take. She is lucky not being sued for her carelessness towards my kid's safety (though I am still considering it). Last but not the least, I had kid's snacks in my bagback which we left in Van before sledging. They without telling us, changed the Van. By the time we came back from sledge, our bags were gone. She blamed us for leaving the bag in Van but no ownership on making an announcement that they change Vans within15 mins while we sledge.I git the bag but still in absolute digust with this employee.
Snowmobile super fun. After that you wouldn't want todo anything like dog team-- it's for kids!
We booked the aurora viewing tours for two nights and also a 'you drive' dog sledding tour. The cabins were pretty packed when all 15-20 people on the tour were inside. The staff take really nice photos for you that you can get the next morning on facebook (thanks for the awesome picture!). The dog sledding says 45 minutes but the actual ride is much shorter (maybe 15 minutes) but the time you spend waiting for the next dog sled team and having hot chocolate makes up the additional 30 minutes. That being said, 15 minutes is more than enough in the cold wind and it was very fun :) Would recommend checking it out!
(Translated) I was very happy with the dog sledding tour. (Original)
(Translated) When you come to Yellowknife, you must experience dog sledding ???? is very safe! The boss also fried delicious fish for us to feast ????
A little pricy for what turned out to be 30 minutes on a sled but not bad over all
(Translated) You can experience the dog sledding. It takes about 30 minutes around the frozen lake. There are also employees who can speak Japanese and Chinese, and it seems that Asian tourists often use it. We also offer city tours and aurora watching tours, and if it is Yellowknife sightseeing, this company alone can be enough.
(Translated) Very fun experience, especially driving (Original) Muy divertida experiencia, sobre todo conduciendo
Awesome meals, friendly staff, a must come place.
Easy way to try dog sledding. They take you by bus to a frozen lake and you run around the circuit if you drive your own team. The dogs know the way by heart. Dress warm and encourage your pups!
(Translated) Good taste (Original) 好好味
Great experience! Loved how the dogs just can’t wait to go and as soon as they go, they just run, quietly & fast. Lots of woohooos and laughter when you’re either driving or sitting. The outside staff who manage the rides and dogs are amazing and very friendly. The staff who manage the office, not so much. Prepare to wait to get picked up and wait again when you get there, and again after you’re done so budget lots and lots of time... but once you’re riding, all your frustrations go away. Make sure to dress warm, my toes and fingers are still frozen (an hour after the ride).
Very good !
We loved it. Thanks for the experience !! Very happy dogs. Tons of energy. ????
Very cool and amazing trip with dogs^^
Very rude ... took me multiple phone calls and very frustrating conversations just to get a date/time, English not first language and zero customer service. Do your self a favour - rent a snowmobile, this is not a Canadian Dog sledding experience- Chinese run for tours of Chinese tourist.
This family run business is full of passion for what they do. Be sure to dress warmly or call ahead to rent appropriate clothing.
(Translated) pretty good. (Original)
(Translated) Dog-Sledding is a very bad experience. Without any safety instructions or activity instructions, the tourists will be rushed to the shelves, and they will only rush to rush. If you are late for more than 40 minutes, you will not even have an apology. The attitude is very poor.
Truly recommend this company. We have one full fun hour on the big lake for dog sliding. U need to book this place as early as u can
An amazing experience. Staff were warm and friendly. Dogs well cared for. Trophy room was incredible. Mr Beck and his staff are clearly passionate about their sport.
The best place to go for a sled ride while in Yellowknife, very friendly staff and a great place to take the kids.
(Translated) Very bad dog sledding experience, not only the pick-up car was late for nearly an hour, but also yelled at the guests, and then the female leader took the shuttle bus and pulled the guests to the sled, completely explaining the itinerary and safety instructions, and the trip was completely Do not consider the guest experience! If you want to experience a dog sled, there is no worse choice than this!
Recommend you go here if you're looking to dog sled. We had a great experience. The price is pretty fair for what you get. The dogs are amazingly trained. We had a hiccup with our reservations on the number of people that could go, but after discussing with the owner, he made things right.

My fiancé and I had the best time during our dogsledding and Aurora Viewing tour. We were picked up at our hotel and provided with extra gear as it was extremely cold (-40 with windchill) the night we went out. Ching, our guide, was incredibly sweet and attentive. She took as many pictures as we wanted with the northern lights, and made sure that we got them via email (and knew that we could download the pictures from their Facebook). Would definitely recommend for a fantastic experience in Yellowknife.
Dogs so cute:)
Really Fun
A good experience. They pick you up from your hotel and drive you to the point of embarkation, pardon the pun. I did the drive your own sled operation. It was great. I met the owner and he gave me examples of multi day tours, which I'm interested in. This is a user friendly experience, just show up and off you go. This is the second time I've dogsled. The first time in Fairbanks they had me get the dogs from their doghouse, put the harnesses on and hitch them up in the order that was written down, and then after the experience I had to unhitch the dogs and put them back in their area. Maybe they could have an option like that? But, if you just want to jump on a sled, this is for you. Ultimately, come and give this a whirl, take pictures, post them on your social media and make your friends say, "I've always wanted to do that!" You'll be the one who did go dogsledding for real!
Fun ride. One of a kind experience. Beautiful. Just concerned about the dogs well being. Locked in cages by chains in the cold, their water is frozen. Dogs used for money. But good ride.
Great experience. Being around so many dogs was great. They are a little bit disorganized in terms of wait time despite your scheduled tour.
These guys do such amazing work with the dogs, and the customers too! Everyone from the office manager right down to the bus driver were so friendly. And the guys helping us figure out the dog sledding were so nice and knowledgeable! You're definitely in good hands here! Thanks for the great run!!
The experience was excellent. The staff were great and were wonderful company. The whole family truly enjoyed dog sledding without any complications.
Lots of fun. Really cool . Have lot of good time with family and the dog. The dog is sooo powerful. The staff is friendly. Easy ride. Really cold BTW
Had a lot of fun dog sledding, staff was efficient and friendly. Only down side is I didn't actually get to drive my own dogs, as the package suggested. The dogs already know the route. The wind can make it pretty cold, so bundle up. I went at the end of March and the weather was perfect. (-9 C ish)
I really enjoyed our dog sled tour. A great family experience being towed in a huge sled by a team of very active dogs.
It started off iffy when the pickup service was over half an hour late. When we got there, the guide told us we had 5-10 minutes to look at the kennel dogs but as soon as we stepped out of the bus, the driver shouted at the guide and made us get back on before we could do anything. The other staff all looked very confused and disorganized. When we got to the sled, there was no introduction, instructions or welcoming of any sort, they essentially just piled us into the sled and went. The feeling of being rushed and the pickup driver's shortness undermined the enjoyment of the ride on the frozen lake which otherwise would have probably been fun and relaxing. As soon as we finished the lake loop, the staff stood around idly waiting for us to leave while the impatient driver rushed us back into the bus while I was trying to squeeze in a quick picture of the dogs. They never extended the courtesy of taking us back to the kennel for the part of the tour we missed. Overall a very disappointing experience and poorly managed service + rude staff. I would recommend going with another dog sled tour or at least avoiding the pickup service.
Wonderful place to experience dog sledding and aurora viewing.
(Translated) Move to a different point for 3 days by car. There is also a temporary toilet so you can rest assured. Also a photo with a bonus. I participated for 3 days. The first day was ok, the second aurora explosion, the third day was almost unobservable. There are a lot of buses, and it seems that they are divided in hotels. You can enjoy aurora at different lakes and points every day. The hut at the base will prepare soup and banok (bread) to satisfy the cold and small stomach. There is also a temporary toilet, so you can rest assured. Most people, from the real school to the rental school, try to shoot aurora photos, and the guides and the participants spent time with each other while discussing camera settings and showing photos. If it is a weak aurora, it can be seen only as a white moth by visual inspection, but it can be clearly seen that it is a camera, so you can enjoy several times if you bring a camera. Does the guide happen to happen? As a veteran guide, it has been a very fulfilling 3 days with a wealth of knowledge and experience. Although there was a problem with the return flight of other tour participants, it seems that they were also able to transfer at the airport. The young female staff who were on board the apprentices worked hard and had a good feeling, and although not absolutely, they also took pictures and uploaded them to facebook at a later date. The staff of the young man who picked me up at the airport was very kind to me as they gave me lots of tourist information.

If I could give 0 stars i would. We were picked up over half an hour late-which isnt even the big problem. I get it, scheduling can get mixed up ..but once they finally showed up the driver was so rude. He basically yelled at the female guide we had which made everything very uncomfortable and you could tell she was just trying her best. Once we got to the kennels we were told we could spend 5 minutes petting the dogs and taking pictures, but once we got off the bus, the driver started yelling again about how we dont have time--fine. We got to the lake and the sled itself was fun, but rushed. I figured since they were so late picking us up the least they could do was take us back to the kennels once the ride was over so we could get the other half of the experience that we payed for but that didnt happen either. The whole situation was pretty awful and absolutely not worth the money. The driver should not be allowed to treat cutsomers or his co-workers the way that i witnessed today.
Great dog sled ride thus winter

U can have a better way to waste your money! The service is so bad!
Great experience, friendly staff!
Great experience, especially driving your own dogteam.
A wonderful experience! Certainly one worth experiencing for those looking to learn about and understand the local culture.

Great experience! Went ice fishing and dog sledding. Even got to ride behind a snow mobile! It was an amazing experience. We were also treated with food by the hosts, which was delicious. Served hot beverages. Even though we couldn't actually do the ice fishing ourselves, it was interesting to see how they did it. Staff were friendly.
First time dog sled, very excited and fun. The views are beautiful especially during the sunset. Just too cold, freeze to death…

Was disappointed to find out there were only Alaskan huskies to pull our sledge. Wish there're pure breed Siberian huskies. But the first time experience of trying the dog sledge on ice was still exciting, especially when passing underneath the short road tunnel.
Awful pick up service Didn’t took me to the airport
Very terrible experience. The tour guides are very nice but the bus driver never pick you up on time. Avoid this company.
Great place for dog sledding . Good staff
Have a good time with Beck's!
The guide who took us around is awesome and she is trying to do her best

Go to the visitors centre and find another company... Only got half of what we paid for and staff wasn't very helpful.

Have been there twice. First time self-driven dog sledding at -10 C with no windchill, very enjoyable and felt too short for 1 lap. 2nd time at -20 C with windchill and full heavy winter gear, lucky non self-driven this time, bone chilling, same 1 lap but felt that ran for too long and wanted to finish ASAP.
