I think they were more active with diverse choices of prices and tickets. Recently they just come up with the highest rates of tickets and limited options. When I searched online found more reasonable prices. I just didnt want to spend time on finding ticket and leave it on a pro which ended up finding it on my own.

This review is for the Egypt Tour offered by Rah Tours. Overall, the quality of services offered by this operator from the beginning to the end is, at best, adequate. Here are the many reasons this tour is over priced and low quality: 1. The person in charge of answering the phone inquiries lacked sufficient knowledge to address the many questions we had about the trip. 2. In his defence, perhaps, there should not have been these many questions in the first place, if the itinerary was well articulated, transparent and communicated in a timely manner. 3. The itinerary, as posted on the Rah Tours, website had typo mistakes, inaccurate information and was clearly a “rushed” copy paste or translation from another document. It was this piece that created a lot of questions and hence inquiry effort on our part, most of which were not answered by the person in charge up until the day of orientation. 4. In terms of accommodations and food, you are paying for a 3 star experience though Rah Tours advertises its accommodation as 5 stars. They were not. Most rooms (except for the Khayam Hotel) were dingy with semi-clean sheets. Washrooms were in need of a major renovation. 5. Food was also consistently poor quality and in some cases inedible (too salty or too oily). 6. The itinerary itself was lacklustre, rushed and uninspiring. The order of events changed from the documents provided to us during the trip. 7. The local internal flights were all booked late at night which in return meant a later arrival into the hotel for check in. 8. The duration of the trip was simply not long enough to accommodate for the itinerary in a meaningful way leaving us exhausted and sleep deprived 9. The only truly positive aspect of the tour were the staff. From the local guide George, to the facilitating person Shadii, to the driver and the security team, they all genuinely cared about offering a positive experience to the guests. Lastly, if it was not because of Koroush’s 24/7 effort, the tour would have been a total failure. Koroush worked effortlessly to address the many issues and shortcomings of the itinerary on the ground and he did so with a smile on his face. It is because of him and the local staff that I am giving this experience a 3 star. 10. In the end, if you are to spend this much money to go see Egypt, look for a more experienced and better organized operator.

I had a horrible experience here. Booked my flight to Sydney through Vancouver; as I arrived in Vancouver I was told that my luggage was not transferred to the connection flight since my booking agent made a mistake on the booking type. Not only this agency did not notify me that I had to receive my luggage for the connection, they failed to help me when I contacted them in Vancouver. As a result, I missed my connection flight and had to spend the night in the airport. Will NOT return to this travel agency and will NOT recommend them to anyone.

The one-day trip to Algonquin park was absolutely amazing! From the Tour Consultant who planned the trip to the Tour Leader by our side. The tour was everything I expected and promised. Tour leader was friendly and informative and he gave us an in-depth look into our destination's culture. Compared to their previous tours, Rah Tours improved the choice of Bus that significantly affect passenger comfort perception and in-vehicle time.

A day tour to Niagra was a well organized tour and great experience. We had wine tasting at konzelmann winery. Then we headed to skylon restaurants. Food was amazing . Then we had free time to see some places.and finally we saw light festival and returned to Toronto where the tour was started. Hassan and Azar Rahtours owners were with to ensure everything is under control .both demonstrated warm hospitality during the tour . Every thing was on schedule. Fariba our tour guide exhibited her vast knowledge of the location, historical and geography of Niagra region.good value for money and highly recommended.

I want to thank Rah tours for organizing the Egypt tour. We had a wonderful time. No trip can always be perfect, there will always be a small problem. I believe going to any tour, local or in any country it's best to leave the hotel early not at 11 am. We lost so much time in traffic and some other things. Last day of our tour we lost 3 hours that could give travelers time to do shopping. Overall our tour director was efficient. Will travel again with Rah tours.

I had the expereince with Rah Tours in June 2014 going to Brazil for FIFA World Cup. The duration of the tour was 17 days long. The tour was excellent and well organized and all the secheules were on time. The tour guide was very professional with great sence of humour. We had about 8 flights in 17 days and visited 6 cities across brazil. All the flights and ground transportaion were on time with a local tour guide at each city. This tour was one of my favorite and most enjoyable tour I have ever done. I met so many great people in our tour and the atmosphere was excellent and very freindly. I do recommand Rah Tours. We took two trips in 2016 - New York and Chicago. The hotels and places to see were good. However, getting there was a big problem. The bus to New York had mechanical issues which delayed our arrival by 3-4 hours. The tour guide told us several times that a replacement bus was coming. Never happened. The start of the trip to Chicago was delayed by approximately on and one-half hours while we waited for a replacement bus, because the first one had mechanical problems. The bus company was the same both times - Coach Canada, or something like that.

I had taken the tour to Montreal, Quebec City and Thousand Island recently. It was a warmth and unforgettable trip. I had a good time. Persian music, dancing and many more fun. The bus driver drove us safety and he was very friendly. Guide tour did a nice job throughout. Time management was perfect. Hotel and serve the breakfast in Montreal was better than hotel in Quebec City, but in Quebec City hotel settled in lovely location. I do think the price was a bit pricey for this package. I will travel again with this tour and I definitely recommend it. Thanks guide tour and driver.

This review is four a tour we took to Egypt in February 2019. I would give the tour an overall 4/5-star experience, our tour guide Kourosh, was an excellent leader 5-star or above 5-star. I had a wonderful time and will travel again with this tour. I would also recommend that this trip be extended by 2 days to have more time for sightseeing and a bit of relaxing as at times it felt quite rushed. We should keep in mind the difference in accomodation standards around world and enjoy the local food and culture while traveling. In summary few points to consider: Rah Tours – Although they did a wonderful job planning the tour, I believe there is room for improvment into pre-trip communications and planning. We felt we could have used a better understanding regarding the details and logistics of the trip itself. Hotels: Marriott Omar Khayyam: Clean rooms, good service, good atmosphere, great breakfast buffet and friendly staff. Helnan Aswan: This hotel looks beautiful from outside, however the rooms have older furniture and need to be cleaned and updated. The hotel staff also needs training regarding their services for a better business. The breakfast was ok. Nile Style Cruise: Our cruise ship was advertised as MS Tuya 5* but was changed to a different cruise ship. The staff were kind and caring, they tried to take care of their customers and they were very friendly. The food for breakfast, lunch and dinner was very good. Guides: Kourosh - our wonderful, remarkable and amazing tour guide who I cannot say enough good things about. He worked tirelessly and effectively to address any concerns we had with the food, accommodations, schedules and etc. He consistently kept a positive attitude, heard the concerns, and tried everything in his power to accommodate the travelers. Local guide in Cairo (George): was very knowledgeable and communicated information very effectively. Local guide in Aswan (Medhat): was personable but it often took effort to understand his explanations. I suggest having a local guide for the whole trip, if possible.

Just came back from rah tours Egypt experience. Wow this was a economically priced powerhouse of sights and accommodations. We felt safe and entertained the whole trip. Food was plentiful and good quality. All the staff were knowledgeable and very friendly. We even had university educated Egyptologists with us the whole time to answer any question we could come up with. Well orchestrated even though the logistics were very involved. My wife and I recently used Hassan, and the team at Rah Tours Inc. to plan our honeymoon in Greece and Turkey. The trip was planned to perfection, with gorgeous hotels (in Capadocia, Istanbul, Bodrum, Rhodes and Santorini) and amazing activities. All of the transfers were seamless, and provided the most cost-effective (and efficient) way of touring the region. Rah Tours even was able to book us a last-minute private tour of Istanbul with an extremely knowledgeable tour guide!. We couldn't have done the trip without them, and cannot wait to go back. Lots of fun and good memories. :) Diffidently will go again with Rah Tours but to have it better I got few suggestions: 1) Inform people at the end of each visit by whistle . 2) Using a long flag by tour guide. 3)Using a Farsi speaking tour guide. 4)Giving brochure about each location and area we visit. 5)Finding a better way of communication than Whats App. 6)Putting shopping schedule before others to have time for exchange or return 7)Having music for the whole time in the bus trips. This review is for Feb 2019 Egypt Trip. Overall the tour was a 3-star experience, despite excellent 5-star efforts of Kourosh, our tour guide. Summary: Itinerary Accuracy & Pre-trip Communication 2* , Hotels 3* , Food 3* , Rah tours guide (Kourosh) 5*, local guide in Cairo (George) 4*, local guide on cruise (Medhat) 3*. Rah Tours needs to put more efforts into pre-trip communications and itinerary accuracy and transparency. The information on the website was inaccurate, incomplete, and grammatically incorrect. It gave the impression that very little effort has been put into communicating a clear and concise itinerary to the customers and was unprofessional. We called the office a few times to get clarifications on the itinerary and sadly the front-desk staff seemed to know less about the tour, requirements of Egypt Travel, and other important details of the itinerary than we did. The representative told us to pay and wait for a meetup that happens one week before the flight to get more details and said "none of the other customers has asked these questions." . This makes me believe customers of Rah tours have not held this company responsible to a proper standard of customer service that is the norm for Canada and the tour is still operating with a traditional Iranian mindset of running a business. The lack of accuracy and transparency in the itinerary led to everyone's confusion and disappointment during the trip. The itinerary kept changing last minute, some major changes were made without any prior communication that would affect the quality of accommodations (cruise ship changed from MS Tuya 5* to Nile Syle 3*) and site visits happened out of order and some parts of itinerary (visit to el khalili bazzar) had to be cut out to make time for other less important events (a belly dance performance!?). Hotels: Marriott Omar Khayyam: Clean rooms, good service, good atmosphere and vibe, great breakfast buffet. Helnan Aswan: Complete disaster of a room, small, dirty, very tired look, bathroom with broken tiles, broken towel holder fallen on the floor, windows not properly closing (very cold at night) and street noise keeping you up all night. Breakfast was only ok. A public washroom near the breakfast area had no light switch! imagine going to washroom in total darkness... Nile Style Cruise: Note that this was misadvertisement. Our cruise ship was advertised as MS Tuya 5* but was changed to this unknown cruise ship, likely 3*, without any prior heads up or refund. A faint smell of gasoline and cigarette smoke was always present, bathroom was tired, windows for the room did not close properly (similar to Helnan) so wind was blowing in the room at night and early morning, making the room very cold. Food buffet had a good variety and was better than average. Food: Outside of the food provided at the hotels, the restaurants were very disappointing with main courses that were often not local cuisine (Italian restaurant, seafood restaurant, ...). Guides: Kourosh - our amazing tour guide who was the only saving grace for this tour. He worked tirelessly and effectively to address the many itinerary problems and personal concerns of everyone with the quality of food, accommodations, and schedules. He consistently kept a positive attitude , raised everyone's spirits, very patiently heard everyone's concerns, and tried everything in his power to accommodate the travelers and resolve countless issues. Most of the problems he had to deal with would have been avoided altogether if the staff responsible for creating and communicating the itinerary pre-trip had done their jobs. Local guide in Cairo (George): was personable and very knowledgeable and communicated information very effectively. Local guide in Aswan (Medhat): was personable but it often took effort to understand his explanations.

I took a tour with Rahtours for Toronto and Vancouver in August 2019. I experienced one of my greatest time during that journey. Every thing was well planned, staff knows its duties very well and tried to make happy moments for guests. I can strongly say that Rahtours has the most professional team in the tourism market of Canada. I should add that I always take luxury tours and travel all around the wrold, but only a few of them have left food print in my heart such as Rahtours.

We took the tour to Greece and Turkey with Rah Tours. It was an amazing trip and we had a wonderful time and memorable experience. Exceptionally friendly and caring and professional staff. Very reasonably priced and we definitely enjoyed more that expected. Obviously with handling 31 travelers, there were very minor problems, e.g. coordination with gathering travelers for different activities, however with their strong management skills, we came back from an almost two weeks trip happy and satisfied. Met amazing people and made a fun new group of friends. Would recommend Rah Tours and we are looking forward to our next trip with them.

Went to San Diego and Los Angeles of this past December. The trip was better than I imagined. Saw the beauties California had to offer. During our Stay we visited many beaches along the Pacific coast line.The trip was amazing and can’t wait to travel with rah tours again!

It was pathetic, no experience at all. I had paid all the money in advance and the Rah tours cancelled the tour at the last moment leaving me with no flexibility to cater for alternate arrangements. A very highly and unprofessional bunch of people. When I asked for the refund they gave me an appointment and no body was present at the office on the given time. Don't rely on them in your own interest.
