With the assistance of BenefacTours again, i have just completed another eye-opening and adventurous trip. This time it was Bali, Indonesia. From the moment we left the airport, we knew we had been transported to somewhere exotic, unique and naturally stunning. From terraced, rice fields, amazing hindu architecture and decorations, to Mt. Batur, wild monkeys and the massive outdoor markets, we experienced the busy urban life as well as the slower paced country life. We were uncertain where to go and having the knowledge and support of BenefacTours, especially Cynthia, makes planning these kinds of adventures easier and less scary. Cynthia took care of our extra hotel needs and provided helpful tips on money exchanging, visas, things to do. I especially appreciate that the tour involved a local movement to support disabled people find work, meaning and community. As well, we were able volunteer time at a rural school where we assisted kids aged 6-12 practice English and learn new vocabulary. We continue to use BenefacTours for their diverse travel options and their excellent support and knowledge of the various countries and local customs. We've now used BenefacTours for tours in Bali, Egypt, Africa, Cuba, Colombia, Iceland and Ireland. Not sure where to go next.... let Cynthia or one of the folks at BenefacTours make some wonderful suggestions based on time of year, activity level and length of time desired.
